Rob is no stranger to the GO Campaign, a campaign that "improves the lives of orphans and vulnerable children around the world".

In fact, they describe Rob officially as, "a friend of the GO Campaign and one of our dedicated donors".

Rob is such a giver. The campaign would like to raise $3,000 in honor of Rob (#giveback4Rob) and have promised to release over 20+ pics we haven't seen yet as we, Rob fans, work to reach the goal. They counted the $460 raised the night Rob popped up at the Go Go Gala last week and said we'd get 2 unreleased pics when they cross $600.

Well we've never been a fandom that likes to wait and Rob fans pushed past $600 in minutes. The total is actually at $700 and I CAN'T TYPE FAST ENOUGH TO CATCH UP WITH ALL THE GIVING!!!

I'll shush now and show you the goods.

Despite the critical acclaim that met LP1, Twigs has also encountered an uglier side of fame since stepping out with reported boyfriend Robert Pattinson, of Twilight fame, in September. Faced with floods of racist remarks and death threats on Twitter, and swarmed by paparazzi, she has since taken a step back from social media — after all, she says, she has no control over the online venom of "14-year-old kids that should be in bed" — but she still finds the constant attention difficult.

"I really enjoy the fun of putting something out and people liking it or hating it or talking about it, but vacuous attention, it feels disgusting. It's like a hangover," she says. "It's weird, I know that's not really because of me or what I'm doing," but nevertheless, "the positivity that I get from (my relationship) makes the more challenging aspects ... very worth it."

He's definitely worth it.

First things first, met my (future) boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Hey, Rob.

I attended the Go Campaign Gala last Thursday night at The Montage in Beverly Hills. 

The Montage is one of my go-to places to go in west LA when I have nothing to do. My best friend Lauren and I would always go to the rooftop bar with Starbucks to kill time before going out on the town and causing trouble in my teenage years. The Montage is a gorgeous hotel and the architecture and gardens get me every time.  

Go Campaign is an organization that improves equal opportunity to unprivileged children. The event included an auction to benefit the campaign and raise awareness. The venue included the most beautiful vibrant flowers scattered everywhere, handmade truffles and belly dancers.  

One of the attendees of the event was Robert Pattinson. To be completely honest, I haven't even seen all the Twilight movies. After this night though, I am most definitely 'Team Edward.' And one time my dad and I drove through Forks if that counts for anything. I talked with Rob about the organization and asked him if he goes back to the UK often. Turns out that we'll both be there over the holidays. I was waiting for him to invite me go on a ride on the London Eye with him or take all the escalators in Harrods...but he didn't. Obviously my future soulmate is playing hard to get. I can play games too, Rob.

A24, the US distributor behind The Rover, has a website dedicated to their award-worthy films.
The Rover is there along with Under The Skin, Locke, Obvious Child, Enemy and A Most Violent Year.



When you click the poster for The Rover, you get to see their "Consider" page and you know who's on it. ;)





Yes! It's great. But.....well it's not exactly a campaign for the film to have it on the website. Only A Most Violent Year has the "Screenings" page, listing multiple screenings happening in NYC and LA. That's typical of an active campaign for awards. Screenings, ads, schmoozing with voters, etc. None of that is happening for The Rover. So this is nice to see but that's all it is at this point.



I pissed in the party punch, didn't I. We can go back to dancing groot because Rob really was one of the best supporting actors this year and it's cool to see him listed on the distributor's site.
