Behind the Scenes: Cosmopolis: A Specter is Haunting the WorldA few pics were also included. Here's the one with Rob as Eric Packer:
Much of Cosmopolis takes place in the back of Eric Packer’s (Robert Pattinson) limo, which has been cork lined—or “Prousted”—to block out the sounds of the external world. While the limo provides a very intimate setting for Eric and his occasional companions as they make their way through the streets of New York, more than 160 extras were employed as the mob of protestors running rampant outside of the car. This video takes a closer look at the sound design of this film, and the technical challenges of balancing the chaos of a crowd with the extreme quiet inside the limo.
Robert Pattinson found himself on the opposite side of the red carpet on Monday when he shot a paparazzi scene for his newest film, Life, in Toronto. The actor giggled with his fellow faux photographers while waiting behind a velvet rope to take pictures of other actors on the set. There's a good reason for Rob's being behind the camera, as he plays Dennis Stock, a real-life photographer who is on a quest to take a snap of James Dean (played by Dane DeHaan) for Life magazine. The former Twilight star has been working on the film for the past month and recently made for a picture-worthy snap when he and Dane filmed a motorcycle scene several weeks ago.Dane DeHaan also tweeted that the movie has wrapped, along with this pic of the vintage cars being packed up ........
Robert is currently preparing for the release of another film, The Rover, which is slated to hit theaters on June 13. Meanwhile, he also has the highly anticipated Maps to the Stars release to prepare for, which has yet to be given a firm premiere date for this year. After Life, Robert will start filming on two other projects — The Child of a Leader and Hold on to Me.
Robert Pattinson holds on to a warm cup of coffee while on the set of Life outside the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night (March 31).
The 27-year-old actor was seen chatting with the crew members amidst filming new scenes for the flick, which is expected to release next year.
Robert stars in the film as Dennis Stock, a photographer for Life Magazine who is assigned to shoot pictures of James Dean (Dane DeHaan).
