Joel Edgerton Joins The Cast Of 'Life' With Robert Pattinson

Variety is reporting that Joel Edgerton is joining the cast of Life with Robert Pattinson.
Joel will play Magnum Photography editor John Morris. 
And yes it's the same Joel Edgerton that wrote The Rover (with David Michod). It's a small world!

Joel Edgerton has joined the cast of Anton Corbijn’s period drama “Life,” opposite Robert Pattinson and Dane DeHaan.

Shooting started recently in Ontario, Canada, on the film, which Corbijn is directing from a script by Luke Davies (“Candy”). The film also stars Alessandra Mastronardi.

The story centers on the friendship that developed between photographer Dennis Stock (Pattinson) and actor James Dean (DeHaan) when Stock was commissioned to photograph the star for Life magazine in 1955. The assignment took the pair on a photographic journey from Los Angeles to New York and on to Indiana.

Edgerton will portray Magnum Photography editor John Morris, who brokered the deal for the photos with Life.

Dior and Paco Rabanne managed a very good year with two fragrances for men in the top 10. According to the calculation method, the best-selling perfume in 2013 is 1 Million or Le Male. Explanation.

In 2013, sales of men's fragrances on the selective market fell by 1.7% in value and more than 4% in volume. Yet some brands are doing very well.

This is the case of Dior, the best-selling fragrance brand for men in France. The new face of Dior Homme, and perhaps the light reformulation of the perfume have boosted sales by more than 35%. (...)

The stills photographer from The Rover wrote a blog post recently and had such kind things to say about Rob's fandom! Check out this excerpt from his post:

This period has seen several of my recent film projects getting busy. The Rover released one still almost a year ago, with a huge public response. My web site, good for about 4 hits a day, hit over a thousand that day, largely thanks to Robert Pattinsons enormous fan base. There has been nothing else released for almost a year, and now a bunch of new stills and a trailer have sparked big interest. Its a really exciting film to be involved with.

GAH. Are you positively buzzing with excitement for this film or WHAT??

Robert Pattinson's upcoming performance in Life makes The Playlist's Oscar predictions list for 2015

Well this made me smile.....

The Playlist has been doing a "Premature Oscar Predictions" list for 2015 and guess who showed up on their Supporting Actor list?

Johnny Depp!



HAHA! Just kidding guysssssss....you know who showed up....

ROBERT PATTINSON!



Now this is a big step for The Playlist so they saved the best for last. ;) Rob's name pops up in the "you could also keep an eye out for..." section. They see potential for his role as Dennis Stock in Life which is crazy awesome since we're currently loving the set pics we're seeing.



I have personal, realist viewpoints about Oscar noms and fine-ass men with talent but those viewpoints don't keep me from smiling BIG TIME when I see movie media outlets anticipate award worthy performances from our favorite actor. I would have thought Rey would have gotten some love but The Playlist anticipates a fall festival run for Life and that could explain their Dennis Stock love. And yeah the work Rob is doing on Life is of the Best Actor variety since it's Dennis Stock's story but c'est la vie.

Robert Pattinson's 'The Rover' Gets A French Release Date

UPDATE: Earlier today a release date of May 21st was announced for 'The Rover' in France by Metropolitan (see below). They have updated saying there is no official release date 'for now'.
We'll update if/when there's anymore information on this.


The french distributor of The Rover (Metropolitan Films) has announced that the movie will be released there on May 21st.
Lucky France!!
