We are shooting in some of the most haunting and stunning landscapes in the world, and are fortunate to have such an exceptional cast and a truly talented crew.”

FilmNation represents U.S. sales with UTA Independent Film Group. FilmNation also acquired the majority of worldwide sales rights to The Rover and the film has already been sold to leading distributors around the world - including Australia where distributor Roadshow Films’ Managing Director Joel Pearlman added “this is an incredibly exciting project which we are thrilled to be working on with Liz, David and the whole creative team.” Shooting completes in mid-March in South Australia, with postproduction taking place in Sydney.

Robert Pattinson is in for a dusty South Australian shoot with Animal Kingdom director David Michôd, who began filming the slow burn thriller last Tuesday. Pattinson, who completed his Edward Cullen vampire duties last November with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II, stars alongside Guy Pearce in The Rover as Reynolds, a member of a gang of thieves who is left behind after a botched job. Pearce plays Eric, who enlists Reynolds to help track down his car when it’s stolen by the thugs. Australian actors Susan Prior (Animal Kingdom), Gillian Jones (Oscar And Lucinda), and David Field (Chopper) join Pattinson, Pearce, Scoot McNairy, and Anthony Hayes in the pic, written by Michôd from a story by Michôd and Zero Dark Thirty actor Joel Edgerton. Liz Watts is producing for Porchlight Films and David Linde for Lava Bear Films. FilmNation took most global rights and will rep the film on U.S. sales with UTA Independent Film Group.

The wait is over! Who are the proud winners of our Beautiful Bastard giveaway? First lets find out the answers to our questions. When did Rob tell ladies they should just throw their panties at him? In 2008, on a Seattle radio talk show just before Twilight came out. He was unfiltered and hilarious and pure Rob.





How about the photoshoot that inspired the look of Beautiful Bastard in The Office? It was none other than GQRob! He was suited up with rolled sleeves looking positively sinful with that long tousled hair and smoldering gaze.







And the last question was, "what is the title of the fanfiction Rob has admitted to reading?"

Most recently during Breaking Dawn Part 2 promo, Josh Horowitz played the Yes/No game with the cast. One of questions was if they'd ever read any Twilight fanfiction and Rob said he read Master of the Universe. He was ahead of the game.
