It's a day for Rob teases!

Many of you are curious about Queen of the Desert. Scratch that. All of you. ;)

The producer, Cassian Elwes (Lawless, Blue Valentine), tweeted a quick note about the status:



Ok so that's not much but since we're all excited for Rob to start filming again, this was a ray of sunshine.

Filming is slated to begin late fall 2012 and we'll let you know if that is changed.

Gossip Cop gave this info about what we would see tomorrow night

"Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will introduce a new 90-second preview for Breaking Dawn — Part 2 at the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday.
Gossip Cop has learned the decision was finalized on Tuesday night."

And Yahoo Movies tweeted this info about the Twilight trailer on Friday

It was just announced that there would be a teaser for the final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2, shown at the VMAs tomorrow. MTV has released a teaser for the teaser! LOL

The full trailer will be available on Friday morning. Via Summit:

TOMORROW: The cast presents a first look at the very last @Breaking Dawn - Part 2 trailer after the @MTV Video Music Awards! Then watch for the full-length trailer premiere on @Yahoo! Movies this Friday!

Summit is also saying there will be another teaser in less than an hour HERE. :10 seconds long. Man. So much going on right now!

Rob is still slated to appear at the VMAs so we'll keep you posted about his appearance.

UPDATE: I know some of you can't see the video but there was no dialogue from Rob and these are 2 screen caps of his appearance in the teaser. If a non-MTV video pops up, we'll post. (UPDATE: a video is under the cut. I'm keeping the caps up because who knows how long the video will last)

UPDATE: Maybe I'm winning my bet...the girl who saw him just tweeted the following:

@athenachen0126: yup! Just an hour or so ago! He was headed to a connecting flight! I'm not sure if he's staying in LA or not but he could possibly either be transferring or going to a private exit :) 

I don't know. We never know until we know. Rob is the international man of mystery.

I made a bet with @RobPattzNews in NYC that Rob wouldn't be at the VMAs. This doesn't bode well for my bet. Rob had been rumored to be in London since finishing Cosmopolis promo but this is the first we're seeing of him for almost 2 weeks.

There's also the rumor of the Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer coming this week....so RPN is feeling pretty good about her bet that Rob would attend VMAs to intro the new trailer for the US. Eeeeeek! We'll have to wait and seeeeeeee! I'll happily lose the bet if it means we get some PromoRob on Thursday. :D
