UPDATE: She tweeted again about the photoshoot! Click HERE. :)
Hairstylist, Patricia Morales, tweeted that she worked with Rob on Friday (4/20):
All smiles...can't you just see him smiling? :)
She didn't indicate what the work was for as you can see above but with Cosmopolis and Breaking Dawn on the horizon for 2012, it's not a surprise if Rob is working on a photoshoot. Patricia has styled Rob's hair before. Which shoot? Oh this one...

I was excited enough about last weeks post where we were keeping everything crossed that we would once again get Cannes Rob but now that we have confirmation that "Cosmopolis" & Rob are actually going to Cannes, well what can I say except................
This weeks lookback at Cannes Rob is when he appeared on Le Grand Journal
This was what happened (I really wish they hadn't dubbed over him, SUBTITLES people)

More From Paulo Branco About "Cosmopolis" & Robert Pattinson
Translation under the video
Translation Thanks to @patsystew
The tv piece starts by describing the movie's story. In it its mentioned that “Robert Pattinson gets away from the teen themes represented by the Twi Saga to be the lead actor of "Cosmopolis"”.
Then Paulo Branco starts to talk saying that “(Rob) in the beginning refused the role because he had a bit of fear of the challenge imposed by this movie. In this movie he is, from beginning to end, in all photograms (scenes)”
It was Paulo Brancos idea of adapting this book to the cinema and Cronenberg was the 1st director that the producer thought of.
“It took me a while to get to him because, although I'd already met him, I didn't know him that well. At first he (Cronenberg) said it was a bit difficult for him to do it because of other projects he had going. I gave him the book and 24 hours later he phoned me saying “Paulo this is for me! It is the ideal book for me to adapt. Let's do this”
The piece continues by saying that Cosmopolis is one of the movies in competition for the Palm d'Or in Cannes. More than a win, the producer considers that the presence of the movie in Cannes is a showroom for the movie to the world.

Paulo Branco On Robert Pattinson's Visit To Portugal For The "Cosmopolis" Portuguese Premiere - May 28th
GIF by Jules
Paulo Branco spoke about the 'Cosmopolis' Portuguese Premiere to Portugal's Correio da Manha newspaper and said that the event will be on May 28th and also there will be a screening on May 29th.
He said that Rob, Giamatti, Cronenberg and DeLillo will be attending.
From Correio da Manha

Guimarães – Capital Europeia da Cultura will have an unprecedented turnout on May 28, when the English actor Robert Pattinson, idol of millions of movie fans, will attend the premiere of 'Cosmopolis', directed by David Cronenberg and produced by Paulo Branco, days after learning if they won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
Major flooding will certainly happen on May 29, in the two 'Cosmopolis' screenings in Lisbon. One will take place at Centro Cultural de Belém, while the other will be open to the public, and Pattinson (and other actors, including Paul Giamatti) will be with the fans. The 'team' also includes the filmmaker David Cronenberg and writer Don DeLillo, whose novel is the basis of the film.
"I hope the fans are more civilized here," said Paulo Baulo to the CM, acknowledging that Pattinson's stay in "Cannes is a concern," since his last time in the French city the reactions were described as Beatles-like.
In the film which opens in 30 theaters on May 31st, Pattinson plays a character very different from the vampire 'Edward Cullen', star of Twilight. This is the odyssey of a Manhattan mogul that runs through the city (although shooting has taken place in Toronto and not in New York) in his limousine.
'Cosmopolis' wants the Palme d'Or
'Cosmopolis' is in a list of candidates for the Palme d'Or in the official competition of the Cannes Film Festival, revealed yesterday. According to Paulo Branco, producer of the film where David Cronenberg has made a metaphor about the capitalism crisis, to find yourself in this list "will only provide visibility throughout the world" to the project. Besides the 11th film produced by Branco candidate for the top prize at Cannes, the festival which runs from May 16-27 features works by Walter Salles ("On the Road"), Leos Carax ("Holy Motors"), Michael Haneke ("Amour") and Wes Anderson, whose 'Moonrise Kingdom' opens an exhibition.

May is gonna be SUCH a good month!!
Robert Pattinson Wallpapers: Making You The Cosmopolis Trailer Love
How excited are we? How proud are we? The reactions have been fantastic and the opinions on Rob's acting abilities continue to shift positively. We get to roll our eyes or beam because we've known it all along but it feels good to see people catching up. Rob returns to Cannes in May but this time, he's kind of a "Beau of the Ball" since Cosmopolis is in competition for the top prize - the Palme d'Or. There's so much to celebrate this May in our ROBsessed land but we're kicking it off early with the gorgeous CannesRob-themed banner by Kate (more to come too) and Marina made us these amazing wallpapers in honor of Cannes, Cosmopolis and Rob. :))
He has completely embodied Eric Packer. He does this with all his roles but watching the trailers and seeing these captures in the wallpapers, I'm forever impressed with how Rob makes the character I read comes alive like a punch in the chest.
This is beautiful. Read the quote from the novel. The galaxy-effect across his body and face works for me when I think about Eric's state of mind, state of being.
Best. Look. Ever. He's so cocksure and his exchanges with Elise were a trip. His exchanges with everyone were a trip.
I can't even with this part. If I go into how much I love this silhouette wallpaper, I'll spoil too much but know that it's one of my favorite parts in the novel and I'm SO excited to see how it's translated. Grand maître... ;)
Thank you for these wallpapers, Marina! They made me the love. ;)

Cosmopolis Producer says Robert Pattinson will attend the premiere in Portugal!
UPDATE: HD videos and a full translation after the cut. The earlier translation was only partial.
We already posted a rumor about Rob heading to Portugal for the Cosmopolis premiere HERE and now the film's producer, Paulo Branco, shared some more info about Rob and the premiere! The video is in Portuguese but the translation is under the cut. This is the part that got me:
"For Pattinson, this project is essential. He watched the movie and personally told me that it was, maybe, the project that he was most proud of and wanted to support it wherever it was necessary"
Translation under the cut!

The drama—competing for the Palme d’Or prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival—looks exceptionally compelling, and the little Cronenberg cinematic idiosyncrasies look downright fascinating.
The latest video for the David Cronenberg-directed drama doesn’t do much in the way of clarifying things from last month’s teaser, but this is Cronenberg we’re talking about, so seeing the film in its entirety probably won’t even help. What we can ascertain from the trailer, however, is that rats are involved (literally and possibly metaphorically) and that Pattinson wants a f—ing haircut!! Oh, and that Cosmopolis looks amazing, regardless of what it’s really about.
I don’t know about you, but I am dying to see this Cronenberg film…I love nothing more than with Cronenberg unleashes some batshit insane awesome that he does better than anyone.
Both trailers are rather surreal but intriguing…
MTV:
The role is gritty, sexy and no doubt allowed Pattinson to show off his acting chops.
