Part Of Rob's speech (Translated using google translate) Source
The actor Robert Pattinson who plays vampire Edward in the Twilight Saga, presented Chris Weitz , who directed him in New Moon, with his award for best director.
Visibly nervous and embarrassed, Pattinson began by saying that he "would rather that this room was full of Twilight fans" because they wouldn't notice how bad he was at making speeches. The actor, however, geared just one curious tribute. "When I met Chris I wanted to be friends with him in seconds. He is a tremendous artist and I think ... it's weird to be here saying these things about him because in our last conversation we talked about going to the Coachella Festival to eat some mushrooms "- to which Weitz yelled" SOUP! mushroom soup. "
Oh Rob don't ever change {giggle}

Robert Pattinson makes an appearance at the Hamilton Behind The Camera Awards
This award show was tonight in Los Angeles. There was a rumor about Rob appearing on twitter but now we see it wasn't a rumor.
Rob presented the award to Chris Weitz who was honored at the ceremony as director for A Better Life. Hopefully we get an official picture of the two of them :) Seems like we should.

Each year, Hamilton hosts the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in Hollywood to honor special artists for their individual impact on the film industry. The awards spotlight the vital and highly creative work carried out behind the scenes to make a movie successful, whether it is screenwriting or the demanding work of the prop-master or costume designer.Click HERE for more info on the event

Robert Pattinson is mentioned by David Cronenberg and Cosmopolis cast
The Q & A at the Lisbon and Estoril Film Festival, Rob was mentioned during Cosmopolis discussion.
Opening of the panel: 3:25 Paul starts talking about Cosmopolis and mentions Rob during his story
At the very beginning and then at about 8:00. Great quotes from Cronenberg after the 8 minute mark
At 6:30 MUST LISTEN!!! David then Sarah then David again :')))
At 4:17 more Rob talk. Great story from Paul Giamatti about getting into his role and talking to Rob about researching their characters.
I am SO pleased with the maturity and respect shown in this panel. Such a contrast to what we experienced with yesterdays Twilight panel. So happy for Rob to be a part of this film and working with this caliber of talent.

NEW FOOTAGE + RELEASE DATE: Robert Pattinson as Eric Packer in Cosmopolis
It was also revealed that the anticipated release date for Cosmopolis is 12/12/12. Not sure if this will be a worldwide release date.
From Hard Musica (excerpted google translation):
This talk was also attended by rapper K'naan and four individuals who participated in this film in many ways. Paul Giamatti and Sarah Gadon, actors, and close Suschinsky, director of photography, reported the experience of working with David Cronenberg and wove her praises.
In a conversation where the uninhibited sense of humor was always present, Paul Giamatti highlighted the "pleasant feeling of freedom" that the director gives the actors to innovate in the characterization of his characters, a freedom which in the words of Sarah Gadon becomes "scary" .
Asked by the audience about his tendency to the production of films that involve and relate the themes of body, mind and technology, Cronenberg said that every film has "a singular existence," he doesn't make a new film thinking about the ones he did before.
Paul White also participated in the conversation as a producer of David Cronenberg's new film "Cosmopolis." The festival director was free to display a small promotional video with just over two minutes of film that is scheduled for opening Dec. 12, 2012.
