Access Hollywood looks at Robert Pattinson before he was a star

Access Hollywood recently profiled Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart "Before They Were Stars".

The interviews aren't new but the segment is cute. Rob's part starts around 2:00

Showcase Saturday starring Robert Pattinson

At the top of this Showcase Saturday starring Robert Pattinson, I'm already exclaiming, "Sweet God Almighty!"

Alright now listen...the song does make you feel like you're in a time warp BUT! Please make sure you are not mobile or standing when you watch this. Between the wind-blown sexhair and the brightened WFE sex scene...*fans self* have MERCY! I feel the heat!

Did the lightened up WFE sex scene kill you or did the lightened up WFE sex scene kill you??

Next up we have an older video. It doesn't have a high view count so I'm thinking many haven't seen it. Got me excited for all the promo videos we'll have for Breaking Dawn :) Plenty of "I want you so bad" sex stares in this hot toddy!

And to close us out, we have a super sweet video. His giggle is infectious. I couldn't stop the big grin on my face. "I feel good" indeed!

See ya next week!

More New/Old Robert Pattinson Outtakes

These look pretty similar to the other Robert Pattinson Outtakes that were out before but apparently they are new. And I know you're not going to complain because I have a feeling you feel the same as me about Rob in this grey hoodie.

I just get lost in those eyes.

Another New/Old video of Robert Pattinson during Water for Elephants press junket

I don't recall this video during promo and it was only recently uploaded. It's HD so enjoy ;)

Gozde's note: The journalist interviewing Rob here is our friend Maria Lindholm. She held on to the video till now :) Thanks Maria!

Lunch tables out of manure? LOL oh Rob...we love you so.

So many cute responses in this. :)

Something I love is when the interivew is uncut. I like seeing little bits before the actual interview and this vid doesn't disappoint. :)

Love comparing a translated article with the actual video to see what translated well and what didn't.

Thanks for the video, Maria!

Note from Maria's YouTube: This is an unedited version - in the beginning I give him a book by a Swedish Nobel prize winning author, but never had the time to talk to him about books.

I went on to thank her and say I liked that she included the uncut version and she tweeted back: "you're welcome, always like the unedited parts myself."

Maria also interviewed Rob in Cannes for Elle magazine. Click HERE to view the older videos! It's a good trip down memory lane. :)

Gus van Sant

Excerpt from an interview with Gus van Sant:
JC: Is it true that you were in the running to direct "Twilight"?

GVS: Yeah. In an interview, Robert Pattinson was asked, "What's up for the next Twilight?" They had been asked this a thousand times. So he said, "We want to get a filmmaker like Gus Van Sant to do the next one." I was surprised at reading this and I thought, "Am I actually considered? Am I in the running? Would they actually even think that way?" So I told my agent to put my name in the hat.

I went out to the interview and, naively, I wasn't aware that I was expected to sell [myself to] them. They wanted to see your plan even though the plan was to do the movie exactly the way the book read, because if you deviated an inch, you'd be killed by the fans. Of course, the other filmmakers who were much more savvy had long 45-minute displays of these ideas and they got the job. It was a really bad scene because I got really nervous and I realized it was just completely going down. Obviously, I screwed the whole thing up.

Anna Kendrick

Excerpt from an interivew with Anna Kendrick:
Have you learned anything from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart about dealing with the media attention?

I have no idea how they stay sane with all that kind of attention. I know, knock wood, I’ve been able to avoid that kind of thing. I’m just in awe of their ability to handle that stuff.

Harper's Bazaar

Harper's Bazaar editor mentions Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's photoshoot from 2009 in HB's greatest hits book.
Bazaar ended the year with more otherworldly pursuits by photographing Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson for the December cover. It was one of the rare occasions they'd been shot together. Inside, the interview alluded to their real life romance, but as we said before, seeing is believing.

We posted the comments from Sarah Gadon about working with Rob and his fame, now director David Cronenberg weighs in:

Cronenberg didn't cast Rob because of his tremendous Twilight Saga fame. In fact, he says, it made shooting a little more difficult...

"Actually the fame was a detriment," Cronenberg told us. "I mean, it's good for financing - but it's not necessarily good when you're on the street and there are a lot of Twihards around. But I think people will be really surprised, I mean, I think he's a terrific actor and that's why I went after him."
I love that. HE went after Rob. :)) Can't wait to hear more from him about Cosmopolis!
