Robert Pattinson Loses Out On Top Spot On Popsugar's Top 100 List

Yes you read that right Robert Pattinson did not get No1 on Popsugars Top 100 list and and lost out to none other than Johnny Depp, you can't win em all right?

He did however get no1 on the Sexiest Celeb Men and No5 on the All-Time Fave Stars Lists.

2. Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson slipped from the top spot to number two in the 2011 PopSugar 100! After coming in at number one for 2009 and 2010, Robert still has an amazingly devoted fan base who come out to vote for him in droves, no matter the contest. Robert scored his first big post-Twilight success this year with Water For Elephants, which costarred Reese Witherspoon. Robert also got back into character as Edward Cullen to film both Breaking Dawn movies, which come out in November of 2011 and 2012. Shooting the sexy honeymoon scenes gave us a peek at his hot shirtless body with a bikini-clad Kristen Stewart, and their offscreen romance is still hot as ever. He's currently working on another high-profile movie, David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis, which will once again cement Robert's leading man status after the franchise that made him famous.

Blast From The Past: Robert Pattinson at Comic Con 2008

Summit Entertainment officially announced their involvement at Comic Con 2011 yesterday. Here is the excerpt pertaining to Breaking Dawn:

In addition to Summit’s booth presence at Comic-Con, the studio will also host one of the first panels of the day in Hall H on Thursday, July 21st dedicated to THE TWILIGHT SAGA franchise. Fans interested in the story’s final chapters will be shown exclusive footage from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 and be treated to a filmmaker and cast Q&A session providing details on the first half of the epic two part finale, in theaters November 18, 2011.

That's the key element for us around here, isn't it? Rob hasn't officially been announced to attend but we can get our wishing caps on, our prayer necklaces polished, our fingers crossed and our good juju ready. We want him there! We wanna see and hear from THE MAN! Cosmopolis should be complete based on the official website sooooooo...here's hopin' for our favorite hobo!

Would You Give Robert Pattinson The Flip?

No I don't mean that kind of flip

I mean this kind of flip from Bravo magazine from Solvenia (June 9th).



Magazines are (stupidly) still flipping Robert Pattinson's pics and thinking we won't notice. I mean really? I mean he just looks..................wrong! Plus they put the real pic on the front and the flipped pic inside.



The interview in it is the same as the German Bravo which you can read HERE if you missed it.

What in the Hell?? They've flipped his picture too!!
Now I get that when doing a magazine layout that sometimes it may be necessary to flip pictures to make things fit etc and it may work with other celebrities but as we have pointed out many times before it's not a good idea to flip Rob's pictures. It's really obvious when it's done with him. And I don't see ANY good reason for flipping this pic.

Darja (who was good enough to scan these for us) has told us that there's nothing new in the interview.

(Interview? Yes there's an interview. I know I can't think straight after that pic either!)

Darja told us that he talks about how Clowns are scary. The interview is from Reuters agency about making WFE, the movie that WILL NOT be playing in Slovenia and the end of BD filming.

At least the Toronto Metro (May 27) haven't decided to flip this gorgeous still from the "Cosmopolis" filming which was featured on their front page.

Justin Timberlake sat down with Playboy magazine and Robert Pattinson's steeze entered the convo:

PLAYBOY: You’ve also influenced people with your fashion choices, including your clothing line, William Rast. You wear a certain hat or sneaker and suddenly everyone’s wearing it. Does that ever feel weird?

TIMBERLAKE: I don’t think about my influence on stuff like that too much. I see a lot of young guys dressing more like I should have been dressing when I was their age. Robert Pattinson dresses properly. He’s more adept than I was. But I don’t know. I don’t think there’s been one specific person other than Sinatra who has influenced my style.

Is it Pattinson or Pattison?

Surely a Public Relations company would check things like spelling... or maybe not!



Monarch Airlines has a public relations firm who apparently doesn't bother with pesky things like spelling. They sent us the above "Top Trump Card" for a new campaign they're launching.

It took me all of 0.25 seconds to spot the error - which was not only on the card itself, but also in their email.

Now, looking at the firms website, there are plenty of women in that office... sheeeesh, they should know better.

Attempt to ride on the coattails of Rob's success FAIL.

*To save the company embarrassment I have refrained from naming them here... for now anyway ;-p

Update: After gently letting them know they might want to check their spelling... we got an apology (????) and a revised card!



Ahhhh, I can breathe a sigh of relief. That's better.
