More pictures of Robert Pattinson from Water for Elephants UK premiere
Water for Elephants promo was so massive. I have yet to fully upload all that came out of it into my Rob-mind. At first glance these pictures were familiar but that's no surprise since over 500 pictures came from the WFE London premiere alone.
This first picture clued me into some of them being new. I looked for it (yes through all 500+ pics) when I posted the Forbes post yesterday but never found it. They had it for their pic of Rob and I wanted it larger.
Here are some more familiar-yet-new-yet-maybe-not-yet-who-cares-because-it's-Rob-looking-sinful-in-a-suit pics!
MORE pics after the cut!
New/Old picture of Robert Pattinson with a guitar and fan
And another one...so, continuing with my analysis, I believe this is late 2007 post-Little Ashes filming. My report:
- Hair color and length (truly the biggest tell during these Robstigations)
- Body weight (slimmed down from fluffy summer)
- Facial hair (lack of suggests Robvador period as well)
Watch the video and agree with me ;)
(lightened the pic to aid analysis)

New/Old picture of Robert Pattinson in a tuxedo
It's the date placement guessing game. My personal belief is 2007. Early 2007. I'm basing this on the following:
- Hair length and color (How To Be)
- Body weight (not fully bloated yet like summer 2007 when he was out of work and ruled out 2006)
- Tux style (not from a stylist therefore making it pre-Twi paychecks)
- Facial hair (ruled out 2006)
- Flush level (cheeks resemble the consistent hue he displays during time period)
I did not come to this conclusion haphazardly but I am open to other theories. ;)
This post has been stamp ROBSESSED.

Michael Sheen mentions Robert Pattinson and the legend of Edward Cullen
While perusing our Edward collection, I got lost in this wallpaper by Marina that we posted back in February. One of his broody best, Rob is truly the best Edward Cullen. Michael Sheen, however, feels Edward might be all Rob is known for.
Speaking to Hollywood Life at the Cinema Society & Thierry Mugler screening of Midnight in Paris, Sheen had this to say:
“I think Robert has been very clever in the way that he has tried to branch out and do lots of other different things,” Michael says. “Rob has been trying to do that while he’s been doing the Twilight series and all but I think it’s going to take a long time. I think he’ll always be Edward [Cullen] for a whole generation or maybe a few generations of people and it will be difficult to get away from that. But he seems to have a good head on his shoulders.”
“Rob is one of the biggest stars in the world now because of the Twilight series and that can be a good thing or a bad thing,” Michael says. “It’s like when people have played James Bond and you get so associated with one character it means you have a huge audience and there’s a lot of people very interested. But at the same time it might put certain people off casting you as other characters.”
Humph. I guess, Mr. Sheen. Technically speaking, this does happen but we think Rob is making the right moves and those moves will benefit his career goals. Water for Elephants was well received by audiences. I found a lot of people commenting on how surprised they were with Rob's performance and the absence of Edward from their minds.
Don't get me wrong. I love me some Edward. BIG time.
But I love Rob more.
I think audiences will continue to see him as more than just Edward. Hit it, Biel!
