'New Moon' Exclusive: Chris Weitz Reveals Five Secrets in the Film!

1. Hidden wolves
''Look for an upside-down engraving of a wolf in the shot of the bowl in which Carlisle burns his first-aid equipment; on Jacob's T-shirt when he meets Bella in the school parking lot for the first time; and a wolf trinket on the dream-catcher that he gives her.''

2. Vampire elevator music
''When Edward, Bella, and Alice get into the elevator on their way to see the Volturi, the music playing in the elevator is from Strauss' Die Fledermaus (a.k.a. The Bat).''

3. Emotional baggage?
''When Bella is looking for the meadow where she and Edward are seen lying down together, she carries a golden compass clipped to her backpack — part of my baggage!''

4. Speedy suitor
''We did a little trick when Edward gets out of Bella's truck and they're arguing. We
wanted to show Edward moving impossibly quickly, so we put Rob right next to the camera but out of sight, and used a double dressed like Rob in the driver's seat. When Edward gets out, it's the double, and then Rob steps in front of the camera, and it looks as if he got there faster than humanly possible.''

5. Look it up
''And last but not least: If you want to know what Jacob says before he almost kisses Bella, ask a Quileute! The address of the Quileute tribal council is quileutenation.org. I can tell you this much: He says, Kwop kilawtley.''

Popsugar Australia Awards Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & New Moon

Favourite Male Movie Star of 2009: Robert Pattinson
Oh don't give me that look. With Rob and Kristen named hottest couple and New Moon as our pick for 2009's biggest flick, even my 90-year-old nan saw this one coming. The Twilight hunk's name was on everyone's lips in 2009, and with good reason. Those brooding eyes, that hair, that chest, R-Patz, as our favourite big screen vampire Edward Cullen, made the idea of a particularly violent hickey sound good. So thumbs up for a stellar year R-Patz. We can't wait to see you up on the big screen in 2010.

Biggest Movie of 2009: New Moon
After Twilight blew up the box office a year ago, the fan base for Stephenie Meyer's vampire series exploded and suddenly everyone was rabid for developments about the sequel. So when 2009 came around and New Moon mania hit full force, whether you liked it or not, the movie and its stars were everywhere.

Pressure was on the studio to make the sequel bigger and better than the original and amidst a controversial change in director, casting rumours came fast and furious. Everyone from Madonna to High School Musicalers were reported to be connected to the film, with big names like Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen eventually landing roles.

As production on the film motored on, tidbits of information began leaking. Mag covers, stills, trailers; we just couldn't get enough. Team Edward or team Jacob? Are Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson dating? It was all we could talk about. So it was little wonder that by the time the premiere rolled around on November 20, the film smashed record, after record, after record. And in the end it didn't matter whether the film was actually good or not, because on hype alone New Moon was the biggest film of 2009- taking the bloodsucker phenomenom to a whole new level.

May the Eclipse craziness begin.

Hottest Couple of 2009: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
It was the are-they-or-aren't they question of 2009 — are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dating in real life? From their obvious chemistry at the MTV awards to their shared moment on stage in Munich and every adoring gaze in between, the pair have had everyone speculating. And though the duo still haven't confirmed whether they've done a Bella Swan and Edward Cullen and hooked up off-screen (c'mon people!) as R-Patz and K-Stew or Bella and Ed, this duo is hands down our fave couple for 2009
