Weird Robert Pattinson Interview

Gozde: I'm not even sure if this is a real interview 'cause it's plain WEIRD y'all :) (UPDATE: The writer of the interview said it IS a legit interview)

Bu still there you go, from totalfilm.com:

On A Date With Robert Pattinson

We share a romantic evening with the hottest young actor on Earth...

BY Chris Hicks

"He seems to be styled by Hugo Boss," wrote our Features Ed. Jonathan Dean in his review for the Twilight DVD. "He has immaculate Shockwaves hair. He has eyes that can change colour." And, capping it off, he added: "He’s fricking gorgeous after all."

We can't disagree. So when the chance came up to take Rob out for a quiet romantic meal for two, we jumped at the chance like vampires leaping into a tree.

Hi there Rob. We’re so happy you invited us out. After all, you must have hordes of screaming girls following you around all the time, and you picked us. Do you even look at your fan sites?

I’m aware of them but it would be so easy to be obsessed with that stuff and then not do anything else – which I did do for a time!

The weird thing is that because you’re at the eye of the storm, you don’t notice what’s going on. But when there are eight-year-old girls standing there trembling and crying, that’s a very strange thing to be a part of.

[The waiter approaches. Buzz orders a bottle of blood red Rioja] Wine goes straight to our head, so don’t let us drink too much, will you? So, were you ever obsessed with anyone? (Gozde: I think wine might not be the only problem. Try putting the pipe down at least 2 hours before an interview)

I really liked Ian Wright when I was younger. I used to always try and get the double of his sticker for my sticker album.

Not quite what we meant. Never mind. Where has that waiter got to with the wine? Maybe you should have a word, go a bit Christian Bale on him?

Where has that waiter got to with the wine? Maybe you should have a word, go a bit Christian Bale on him? Yep, that’s just how I speak to people on set. I say to the craft service person, “Where the FUCK are the M&M’s?! You’re a fucking AMATEUR!”

You have an angry side? We like that. You have a sensitive side too – in your next movie, Little Ashes, you play a young Salvador Dali struggling with his feelings for playwright Lorca (Javier Beltrán).

In an ideal world, people would always be searching out those tiny art films but it’s nice that Twilight fans are looking forward to Little Ashes.

I wanted to do it to break down what I thought I could do, but Dali is incredibly self-conscious throughout the movie so I thought all the nude scenes and stuff worked with me being nervous anyway.

Nude scenes! Although, are you saying your first on-screen sex scene is with a bloke?

We both refused to shave before doing it...

This is a big turn-on... Wait, err... what?

...It’s very uncomfortable in terms of scratching each other with our stubble – it made me feel sorry for women!

Stubble. On your face. Riiiight... So can we talk about Twilight sequel New Moon?

Edward and Bella’s reunion in New Moon is good. It’s different from the book so I think people will be happy.(Gozde: If Bella doesn't run to the clock tower through the crowd and if Edward isn't under it shirtless I'm going to HUNT Melissa Rosenberg down and smack her senseless)

This movie will have a very different mood. In visual terms it’s going to be so different from Twilight. It’s also a lot scarier. Chris [Weitz, New Moon director] is very willing to go down that route.

So, are they going to tie you up in that harness again for the sequel?

Luckily, I just have to get beaten up in this one!

And then we could tend to you, stroke your hair and gaze into your eyes until you can walk again. Wait. Where are you going? Robert!! Where’s that wine?!? (Gozde: Again, pipe down...2 hours....)

Mary Hart's 'New Moon'-Updated

Before tonight's Entertainment Tonight here is a snippet.

Via NewMoonMovie.org :)

Several sources report this is what Rob says in Entertainment Tonight. They are just twisting stuff to get ratings. Here is the real thing:

Robert Pattinson is completely baffled by the continued gossip linking him to his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart - branding the romance rumors "ridiculous".

The pair, who play on-screen lovers Edward Bullen and Bella Swan in the cult vampire franchise, has been dogged by reports they are enjoying a secret love affair. But Pattinson insists the situation has got out of control - especially when he sees their 'romance' is front page news.

He tells Entertainment Tonight, "It becomes a joke. There was some magazine the other day about me and Kristen, and when you look at it and realize it's on the front of a magazine... You realize that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is. It's really bizarre."

MTV Exclusive How To Be Clip

From MTV.com:

Once upon a time, Robert Pattinson was a shaggy-haired virtual unknown, best remembered for the "Harry Potter" films and hoping to be taken seriously as an actor via a series of small, low-profile independent films. Eventually, he would become Edward Cullen — the ideal companion for women all over the world and plastered in more bedrooms than wallpaper itself.

But first, he had to learn "How to Be."

Travel back with us to a simpler time, thanks to this exclusive clip from Pattinson's new film, which is actually an old film, shot in his pre-"Twilight" days. It's from the Oliver Irving-directed "How to Be," a movie whose advance screenings have already won the hearts of Twilighters worldwide.

The film stars RPattz as Art, a hopelessly lost young man who hires a "life coach" in an attempt to straighten himself out. The London-based musician becomes enamored with a book called "It's Not Your Fault" and invites its elderly author to move in with his family — yielding endearingly quirky results.

In this clip titled "Choking on Dust," Art tries to live life to the fullest by taking a V-8 Camaro out for a joyride. Twilighters will undoubtedly get a kick out of the reckless enthusiasm Rob brings to the scene. His rose-colored glee, however, is short-lived.

Robert Pattinson Hot Topic - Orland Park Pictures

Here are some pictures I haven't seen before from the Hot Pocket Tour's Orland Park, Illinois stop. First 2 are to remind you the craze Rob and the fans went through. Will they make him do the mall tours again? They have to be crazy to do it, the fan base is so much bigger now.

The Girl on the floor worries me! Is she okay? :)))

Twilight Role by Reality Show

From The Hollywood Reporter:

COLOGNE, Germany -- The words "casting couch" immediately spring to mind when you hear the concept of a new German reality show: 12 young actresses compete for a role in a Hollywood production.

But "Mission Hollywood" is no joke. The show, which premieres June 8 in primetime on leading German network RTL, features Til Schweiger, Germany's biggest star, and the prize -- a role in one of the "Twilight" sequels -- is enough to entice even the most skeptical would-be thespian.

RTL and production house Tresor TV also have secured an impressive lineup of jury judges to assess the talent. Permanent jury members Schweiger and famed acting coach Bernhard Hiller will be joined every week by a third juror, among them Carmen Electra, producer Erwin Stoff ("The Day the Earth Stood Still"), Summit Entertainment exec Michael Schaefer and German A-list actors Thomas Kretschmann and Moritz Bleibtreu.

"Mission Hollywood" hopes to capitalize on the phenomenal ratings success of casting shows like "Germany's Next Top Model," which has become a flagship hit for RTL competitor Pro7.

Like the modeling show, contestants in "Mission Hollywood" will have to go through the motions of the real job -- carrying out stunts and re-enacting classic movie scenes from films such as "Dirty Dancing," "Misery" or "9 1/2 Weeks."

A New Role For Robert Pattinson?

Some folks posted the links at the comments section for this news. It's actually not new, we've reported this before. The movie's name changed from "Memoirs" to "Remember Me" and what once was a rumor seems to have legs now! So exciting!

According to ScreenDaily.com:

Summit Entertainment is presenting four new titles to buyers at Cannes this year including two new Summit productions - a romantic drama starring Twilight sensation Robert Pattinson and a generational love story set in Italy starring Amanda Seyfried.

Pattinson is starring in Remember Me which is shooting this summer in New York while the actor is between Twilight sequels New Moon, which wraps at the end of May, and Eclipse, which starts in August.

Allen Coulter, the award-winning TV director (The Sopranos, Damages) who made his feature debut with Hollywoodland in 2006, is directing the film and Nick Osborne and Trevor Engelson of Underground Films (License To Wed) are producing.

Summit co-chairman and CEO Patrick Wachsberger wouldn’t go into too much detail on the plot but described the film as this generation’s Love Story. (Gozde: Oh my poor little heart and the turmoil it will go through with Little Ashes, New Moon and now "Remember Me". Can't wait!) A female lead is in the process of being cast, while Rachel Getting Married writer Jenny Lumet has finished the latest draft of the screenplay.

Summit will handle domestic distribution on both the film and it will go through its international output partners including E1 in the UK, SND in France and Concorde/TMG in Germany.

New Moon directed by Chris Weitz is set to open in North America on Nov 20, while the third film, Eclipse, to be directed by David Slade, will open on June 30, 2010.

The first film in the series Twilight has now grossed over $380m worldwide. Meanwhile Summit’s Knowing starring Nicolas Cage has just crossed $100m worldwide.

I like how they show the kiss scene and his panting right after he says "I was freaking out". It doesn't look like you were freaking out Rob :))
