German TV Station Tele 5 Interview with Robert Pattinson
Pattinson Online has the translated interview from German TV Station Tele 5. Since I don't want to "borrow" (ehem) their work, I posted 3 questions below and you can read the whole thing HERE. It is VERY interesting!
Q: In your next movie you play the young Savador Dali who was bi-sexual. Did you have problems playing such a role?
A:It was odd and something new to kiss a guy in this movie. But it was very amusing too (laughs). But I wouldn’t call Dali bisexual. He was rather asexual with all his neurosis concerning sex. He was a very contradictory and conflicting person, with his sexuality as well as his emotions.
Q: Why did you pick that role?Did you want to get away from you image as the new teenidol?
A: I did the Dali movie before I did Twilight. I don’t try to change a certain image or to gain another. I played the part because the script was very interesting. I didn’t think about my image or the future.
Q: For the movie (Twilight) you also recorded 2 songs which are featured on the soundtrack. Are you planning a career as a rock star?
A: Not anymore. I wrote those songs a year ago with a friend of mine. Back then I was considering giving up acting and instead work as a musician, but then the Dali film came and then Twilight shortly after, and Twilight has become so huge. So I think I’m gonna give up on my childhood dream of being a musician and just continue acting for now. (Gozde: I heard a collective "Awwwww")
