Todays "New Moon" Spoiler Post
Robert Pattinson Talks "Eclipse"
From Denofgeek.com
As Twilight New Moon soaks up money across the planet, Robert Pattinson has been talking about what we can expect from next summer’s Twilight Eclipse…
Even thought Twilight: New Moon has only just arrived in cinemas around the world, the third film in the cinematic saga, Eclipse, has already finished its shoot. Under the stewardship of 30 Days Of Night director David Slade, cameras were packed up a few weeks ago, and the film is already in post-production.
And, if you believe the bits and pieces coming out about the film, it's set to be just a little bit different from New Moon. After all, star Robert Pattinson has been reportedly suggesting that the film might actually push towards an R rating, as opposed to the PG-13 of New Moon.
We don't actually believe that's going to be the case, though, as Summit Entertainment will have a firm eye on the potential box office returns for the film, and if it puts a PG-13-rated cut of the film out in cinemas, then that's simply going to make more money. Considering, too, the large number of teenage girls who have been flocking to the movies over the past weekend, it's going to be keen not to cut off one of its core audience segments.
However, dig into what Pattinson actually said, and it's clear it was just speculation on his work. He was talking to SiTV when he made his comments, saying that "I don't know what rating Twilight was in England, like the American PG-13 or 18. I think it's pushing it to the absolute limit. It would be so funny if it was R-rated."
He did also note, though, that "It's a massively different movie to New Moon. There's so many more main parts, and having these huge battle sequences, I've never done anything like it in any of the other movies." Contrasting with that, Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, has spoken to MTV News about the greater amount of comedy in Eclipse.
Elsewhere, a photo of Twilight: Eclipse has also been released, but given that it features Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart looking at each other, it could have arguably come from any of the movies or promotional shoots that the pair have done together over the last couple of years.
The film is due out on June 30, 2010. If it's R rated, we will all get Twilight tattoos done. (Kate: Aah no we won't but I will be very excited)

Celebrity Mundane: Robert Pattinson Out For Dinner in NYC
Still basking in the glory “New Moon’s” opening weekend, Robert Pattinson was spotted out to dinner in New York City last night (November 22).
The “Twilight” stud looked a bit camera-shy as he made his way out of Megu Japanese restaurant in downtown Manhattan where he was said to be having dinner with costar Kristen Stewart.
Thanks FePattz for the tip :)

Facinelli Says He's To Blame for Robert Pattinson Not Changing His Clothes
Oh it's been a while since we heard "Robert Pattinson Smells"articles. Here is a new one from NY Magazine:
We've all heard that Robert Pattinson doesn't change his clothes more than once a week and is kind of smelly (just Google "Robert Pattinson smells" if you don't believe us), but it turns out it's all a strategic move to foil the paparazzi, as we learned at the Cinema Society and D&G-hosted New Moon premiere on Thursday.
Nurse Jackie star Peter Facinelli, who plays Robert Pattinson’s father in the Twilight movies, takes credit (blame) for Robert Pattinson’s rumored body odor problem. “He’s smart, because if he doesn’t changes his clothes and the paparazzi get pictures of him in the same outfit all the time, then they can’t sell the pictures,” Facinelli told us at Thursday's Cinema Society screening of Twilight Saga: New Moon. “That’s what I said he should do; I said, ‘You should not change your clothes, this way, how are they going to sell the picture of you in the same outfit all the time, because it will look like it was from the same batch.’” Father knows best.(Gozde: As much as I'd love to give credit to Peter for this, Jennifer Aniston has been doing that for years now. She used to wear the same clothes to go shopping claiming the same thing: they can't sell pictures if they all look alike. Plus Rob has been doing it since Harry Potter, I don't think it's a strategic move :)))
Pattinson’s co-stars deal with the issue in their own ways. The lovely Ashley Greene, who plays Pattinson’s sister Alice Cullen, tries to avoid breathing when in his presence. “You know what, I think maybe out of a defense mechanism, I don’t sniff him,” she said, laughing. Kellan Lutz, who plays brother Emmett Cullen, admires how Pattinson still looks great, even in musty attire. “He’s got a great style. I wish I could pull off the easiness that he does,” Lutz told us. And director Chris Weitz is actually grateful that Facinelli gave R-Patz the sage advice. “I can smell him coming, that’s the nice thing,” Weitz explained.
*New Interview* Robert Pattinson talks New Moon & Music with Cine Premeire Magazine
Mexican magazine Cine Premiere has three exclusive interviews with Rob, Kristen and Taylor in their latest New Moon special magazine.
Twilight Poison translated them. I'm putting up Rob's if you want to read Kristens head over there and they're putting up Taylor's soon.
Please link back to Twililght Poison if re-posting.
Here's Rob's Interview:
Robert Pattinson - The most desired vampire in the world.
Has the character changed for you? And how so?
I’m very surprised at how relaxed I am with everything. I was very nervous before, especially with all the expectations. But since Twilight did well, I think I’m less nervous now.
What can you tell us about Edward in this sequel?
He feels like he’s lost everything since James, Victoria and Laurent appeared in his life. For him, everything spiraled out of control for him, and he’s struggling to stay afloat by pretending that everything is fine. So that’s why everything happens faster this time; he’s been considering it for a while.
And he thinks he’s doomed anyway, right?
Yes, actually from the first movie he feels that way. And in this movie he thinks he’s doing the right thing, even if later he realizes he made a mistake.
Edward is a little mean in this movie, isn’t he?
I don’t think he’s mean in this one. I think he’s mean in the next movie (laughs). He’s just lost and he takes the typical male attitude of finding a person he loves and throwing away everything because of his self-doubts. And then he realizes, after he messed up, that you only have few chances. And that’s the good thing about Bella.
She keeps giving him those chances.
Yes, but for her is not even about giving him another chance. She just knows more about the relationship than him, and he just blames himself for everything.
Daniel Radcliffe: Robert Pattinson is Handling Fame Well
From BBC News:
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe says Twilight actor Robert Pattinson appears to be dealing well with the pressures of fame.
"I wouldn't have any advice," Radcliffe told the BBC. "He seems to be coping well," added the actor.
Since appearing as vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight film series, Pattinson has become a huge star.
The 23-year-old appeared alongside Radcliffe in the fourth Harry Potter film, 2005's Goblet of Fire.
Mobbed
He played Quidditch captain Cedric Diggory, who competes alongside Harry in the Triwizard tournament at Hogwarts school.
"I haven't spoken to Robert since we saw each other at the opening of a gallery three years ago," said Radcliffe. "We've been sort of exchanging advice through journalists, bizarrely."
Over the past two weeks, Pattinson has been mobbed by thousands of screaming fans at launch events around the world for the new Twilight film, New Moon.
Speaking about fame, Radcliffe said: "It is totally mad, when people are screaming and going absolutely insane for you.
"Particularly with Robert - the amount of women that would jump on him - you have to keep it in some kind of perspective, by thinking 'well, partly they like me and partly they are just attracted to the character'.
"As long as you don't think 'oh yeah, God they're all doing this - I must be absolutely fantastic'. As long as you do that, you should be all right."
'Quite strange'
Radcliffe's Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, said Pattinson had "done amazingly" after appearing in Goblet of Fire.
But Grint admitted he had never been comfortable with getting recognised in the street.
"It's never been normal. I'm slowly getting used to it, but it's quite strange," he told the BBC at a launch event for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD, out in December.
The world of Twilight is populated by fans called "Twi-Hards", or by Pattinson fans who refer to themselves as "Robsessed".(Gozde: woot woot :))
Pattinson described earlier this month how he prepares himself to face thousands of screaming fans: "I always find myself wearing a lot of layers as well so they can't see you hyperventilating."
The actor has recently finished shooting the third film in the vampire series, Eclipse. A fourth film based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling novel, Breaking Dawn, is also planned.
Meanwhile, Radcliffe and Grint are currently filming the two-part finale Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, out in 2010-11.
Anna Kendrick is Not Fangirling Over Robert Pattinson OR George Clooney
"Twilight: New Moon" actress Anna Kendrick stars in films with two of Hollywood's hottest hunks -- Robert Pattinson and George Clooney -- this year. Dream jobs, right?
She starred with Robert in "New Moon" and "Eclipse" and George in the awards-buzzed Jason Reitman dramady film, "Up in the Air."
Her friends are totally impressed but she's like, "Eh, they're OK ... They're such punks, they're like such a pair of hooligans."
Still, she really enjoyed teasing George Clooney about being "old" since he teased her on a daily basis about being short.
Anna admits that she was blown away when she saw the "New Moon" box office numbers Friday night on a friend's cell phone at a party at screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg's home.
She also chatted with Taylor Lautner, who was still in New York, giving him a verbal "High Five/Hey Dude."

Cute interview with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner
Taylor, I love Rob but after seeing New Moon I have to say: DAMN BOY his body is nothing next to the 8 pack you created! You are very gracious to say "his is just fantastic itself" :)
Thanks to Rocio for the tip :))
ROBsessed Nip-vestigates Robward's "Wonky" Mipple aka Left Mipple Gate
@KatieSue617 is it just me or does it look like somthing is wrong with Rob's left nipple in the clocktower scene?
I didn't notice it, I was looking "somewhere else" in that scene :) But apparently a lot of people noticed Robward's "wonky" mipple (mipple = man nipple). While twitter peeps were discussing this very important "Left Mipple Gate" issue we got another tweet:
RT @PepperMonster He has a tear in his shirt over his left peck & when he takes his shirt off his left nipple has a scar around it
Since we never shy away from investigating crap like this (or looking at shirtless Robward pictures) we dug into our HQ files. Let's look at Robward when he walks into the Volturi lair:
The shirt is ripped on the left mipple side:
Let's look at Robward when he is taking his shirt off:
Let's look closer:
*stares dreamily*.....*keeps staring*....*comes down to earth*
Oh! Yep there is definitely something "wonky" about the mipple. Feel free to stare at it to make sure :) I think I'm going to have to see the movie for the 3rd time to REALLY make sure...
My explanation for the "bite mark" was: Some horny woman jumped him while he was away moping for Bella and she tried to bite his mipple :)
When we thought we solved it with the crazy horny lady theory: "@bucaticadinmine: am I the only one who thinks this doesn't makes sense? nothing harms vampires so what caused that scar?"
I was shame faced at not thinking of that but @TweetsALittle and lroy6 had the answer: Vampire bites/venom can cause scars on other vamps! Remember Jasper has lots of them from battle!
Great! So he got into fights with some vamps and they bit his mipple! Naughty naughty vamps! But still, what if the wonky mipple belongs to Robert Pattinson and not Robward Cullenson? Oh the horror!
Well for that we had to dig really deep into the pictures from Italy, the unedited ones:
Yep, the mipple is just perfect and it's always been perfect:
We can all sigh in relief now that Left Mipple Gate" is solved :)
Thanks to PepperMonster, i_heart_the_doc, TweetsALittle, dancn_stacy09, @MyraMcEntire, KatieSue617,MeggsT, bucaticadinmine and lroy6 for their invaluable input in this very important discussion.
"New Moon" Film Fantasy Magazine with Robert Pattinson
Greek Newspaper Interview by Robert Pattinson
Translation
Interview by Tasos Theodorakopoulos for Big Fish
How do you cope with the pressure of the hysteria that your appearance causes to young girls after the success Twilight?
The way everyone gets through when being under pressure: I focus on my friends. Look, I shouldn't be ungrateful, besides the stress it's fun to get all this recognition. It's just that some things change in your life. I can't walk down the street alone, as i used to do and there are moments that in this recognition i feel extremely vulnerable.I try to keep my mind,to distinguish the jobs offered that will help me succeed and stay calm with madness and speed that all this is happening.
They've been so many vampire movies...i believe after your trilogy the amount will increase.Do you feel there's something special you've added through your performance to the cinema persona of the "immortals"?
The idea was to bring back for the cinema and the new generation the vampire legend. So, I tried something, that was to play the vampire without following a specific road on how such a role should be played, but focusing on the after adolescent loneliness of a special character.
Well, in the book Edward's presence is relatively smaller that in the movie...
In the book Bella hears Edward's voice in her mind. In the movie we gave this voice the figure of a vision. And we added a battle scene at the end, which i really enjoyed 'cause i look amazing as a fighter(laughs..).
Robert Pattinson Interview (with translation) From Germany's Gala Magazine
Translation:
Do you even know in which city you are anymore?
(laughs) In Munich, right? But Yesterday I woke up and truly didn't knew that
I was in Madrid. It's a weird feeling.
You spend a lot of time in hotels. Is there Something that you always take with you ? A talisman?
It's not supposed to sound pompous, but I like it to take my guitar with me. And my hat.
I can't sleep on the plane when I have the feeling someone's watching me. So I pull the hat in my face and then it works.
Edward Cullen is super strong, can read minds and won't get old. Which ability would you like to have the most?
I really don't wanna know what people are thinking about me.(laughs) And being a teenager my whole life, that's not my thing. So I would choose the third option. Super powers.
But probably people would start asking me for help then. No, I feel pretty good being mortal.
“New Moon” takes #3 all-time best opening weekend with $140.7M
Summit Entertainment now officially estimates that The Twilight Saga: New Moon took in $140.7M from 4024 theaters this weekend. This puts the film in third place for all-time opening weekends, behind The Dark Knight ($158.4M) and Spider-Man 3 ($151.1M) and ahead of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest ($135.6M). The film also hauled in $158.8M internationally. This was the widest opening of all time for an independent film and the biggest ever box office opening for an indie.
There was a 41% drop from Friday to Saturday, about the exact same percentage decrease Twilight had one year ago (down 40.8% Saturday, down 41.9% Sunday). Another 40% drop going into Sunday, based on advance sales, tracking polls, and other industry formulas, brings the weekend total to $140.7M.
For those who are new to the box office numbers game, it may seem odd to have these figures when Sunday isn't even over yet. But it is standard procedure to have weekend totals announced at this time. After the Saturday box office totals come in on Sunday morning, studios always estimate Sunday and come up with a weekend projection. Of course, Sunday and weekend figures can only be estimates at this point. The actual Sunday numbers aren't known until Monday. But many years and literally thousands of projections have yielded formulas that allow the industry to predict fairly closely what Sunday will be based on Friday and Saturday's numbers and, therefore, what the weekend will look like. The actual numbers that come in on Monday are usually not too far off from the estimates made on Sunday. They usually adjust slightly up or down but are rarely far off.
