The only Robert Pattinson project most people know from his pre-"Twilight" days is his small role in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" as Cedric Diggory, but as his popularity has grown, more of his earlier projects are getting wide release. The latest of those is the short film "The Summer House," which was filmed for a week back in the summer of 2006, but is only hitting film festivals and iTunes this year. First-time director Daisy Gili said she actually cast Rob because she was recommended him by Campbell Mitchell, who had worked on props for another of his early projects, "The Haunted Airman."
"He said, this guy is amazing, and he's really nice, and I think he'd be really up for working on a short film," Gili told MTV News. "I saw a picture of him and I thought, he's fantastic." (Kate: She has good taste!)

both Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver over the next year starting this
fall. The next chapter of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be released as two
separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres
on November 18, 2011.
Academy Award® winner Bill Condon will direct both films starring Kristen
Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner along with Billy Burke as
Charlie Swan as well as returning members of the Cullen Family including
Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Jackson Rathbone as
Jasper, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Ashley Greene as Alice and Kellan Lutz as
Emmett.
The project, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer's

When Twilight was released and we saw that 10,000 people were camping in front of the movie theater of Los Angeles where the premiere was taking place , our first reaction as journalist was : “But why are they enjoying this saga ?” (Kate: Mmmm good job he didn't say this to the 10,000 people or he may not have lived to tell the tale)
When Pattinson had arrived a few hours later , he was so overwhelmed that he quickly disappeared. Just a few words to the media. We had thus concluded that this guy was big headed. (Kate: HUH??)
It was a huge mistake. (Kate: Damn right it was) In fact, Pattinson is a real shy guy.
Moreover, he is English, so he is a phlegmatic shy person.
And when we chatted with him, for the release of Eclipse, I realized that he didn’t expect such a phenomenon that night at the Twilight premiere .
Robert Pattinson is only 24 and nowadays , he is the most desired bachelor in the world. And trust me , he still can’t cope with his fame . So he stays at home, never goes out at night and when he’s not playing this 107 years old virgin vampire, he chooses interesting roles in interesting films . • Robert Pattinson wanted to wear karate pants for the training sequence. “So we got him some karate pants, and it’s like the crotch hangs down to the knees, and I just thought, Ugh. Who’s gonna go for this? Because everything has to be approved by Summit,” Monaghan says. “We took them in a little bit, and they loved the karate pants. Who knew? I was so surprised.”
