Robsessed Mentioned On STV.tv
From STV.tv
The popular Twilight star Robert Pattinson has scores of die-hard fans who follow his every move. One of the most faithful is Goz, who runs a blog called ROBsessed (robsessedpattinson.com). (Kate: Go Goz, Go Goz)
ROBsessed publishes updates about the activities of the vampire actor which are followed by thousands of fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, a film maker and distributor called Revolver Entertainment decided to produce a DVD documentary about 23-year-old Robert’s life, called ROBSESSED.
To support their new DVD – which was exclusively launched through ASDA this week – it built a website, called robsessed.co.uk.
However, Robert Pattinson fans were not happy.
The showbiz website Gossip Cop said: “Many supporters of ROBsessedPattinson.com brought to our attention the site’s claim that Revolver Entertainment, the company behind the DVD, had lifted material from their site to market the unauthorized DVD.”
Gossip Cop called Revolver for comment and while the American arm of the business said the content of the site was “original”, when they called the London office, the disputed content suddenly disappeared.
Gossip Cop added: “We’re very encouraged to see fans stand up to shameless profiteering, especially when the offending party has wronged not only the celebrity, but also the fans who put time and effort into content without intending to make a dollar from it."
A statement from Revolver Entertainment on the ROBSESSED site reads: “We would like to make an official apology to all those who took offence to the publication of the syndicated feeds previously published on this site.
“Our intention was never to cause offence but simply to provide a single point of call which presents all available Robert Pattinson news in one convenient place for the use of the fans.
“We firmly believe that this is a film which Pattinson fans will enjoy and feel saddened that it would be judged before having been seen. However, we are confident that once the fans have the chance to see the film that they will embrace it.”
PLEASE NOTE: We received the apology above from Revolver when the "unfortunate incident" happened. We accepted it and have no hard feelings towards them.
Thanks to Gossip Cop and STV.tv & Big thanks to Meredith for sending us the link!

MSNBC Talks To Robert Pattinson & Reviews "Remember Me"
Edward Cullen may be a world-class brooder, but the actor who portrays him, Robert Pattinson, actually enjoys a good laugh.
Pattinson certainly has much to be happy about these days. His career is red-hot, with the “Twilight” films having made him a multimedia sensation. He hopes his latest picture, “Remember Me,” which opens March 12, continues his career's upwards trajectory. At the very least, it’s allowed him to do something he’s rarely had a chance to do onscreen: Smile.
Robert Pattinson's"Remember Me" Reviewed By Boxoffice
From Boxoffice
Drifting far from his Vampire mode in the Twilight films (but not too far), Robert Pattinson proves he doesn’t “suck” in a straight dramatic role and affectingly portrays a tortured young man with family issues who finds love with an equally wounded young woman in a romance underlined by past and impending tragedies. The name of Pattinson above the title will guarantee a large femme turnout for this brooding, PG13 drama, and although it’s no Rebel Without A Cause or Splendor In The Grass for a new generation, it has enough tender and genuine moments of youthful angst and romantic discovery that opening weekend figures should be sweet, word of mouth decent and a healthy afterlife on DVD assured.
