Twilight Soundtrack is Nominated For a GRAMMY!

Twilight soundtrack is nominated for a Grammy! As you all know the soundtrack featured 2 songs by Robert Pattinson. Congratulations to Rob and all the other musicians that contributed to the beautiful soundtrack.

We may not like the way Twilight movie turned out or the way Catherine Hardwicke speaks about other people's personal relationships but we also value her. She chose GREAT music for Twilight, it is a really good soundtrack. She cast Rob as Edward for which we are very grateful. She was also amazing to the fans during the Twilight promotions. So thank you Catherine and please don't speak :)

Thanks to Danielle for the tip :) You can see the rest of the nominees at Grammy.com

Robert Pattinson: I expect that 'New Moon' breaks all the records in India too

From IndianExpress.com:

He is the most lovable bloodsucker in Hollywood history with his turn as vampire Edward Cullen and now young heartthrob Robert Pattinson hopes to conquer the hearts of his fans in India with 'New Moon'.

The film, second in the blockbuster 'Twilight' saga, is releasing in India on December 11 and the British actor is confident that it will break all the records in the country.

"I expect that 'New Moon' breaks all the records in India too. I hope people like the film and it becomes a craze there," Pattinson said in an email interview.

The 23-year-old star hopes to visit India and says that his first acting assignment was in Indian-American filmmaker Mira Nair's 'Vanity Fair'.

"Yes, why not if I get a chance to visit India? I think many don't know that I started my film career with 'Vanity Fair' where I played Rawdy Crawley. The film was directed by Indian filmmaker Mira Nair.

"Unfortunately, my role was chopped off and it was only seen when it came on home videos. But it was a wonderful experience and I learnt a lot there. That's where I first heard about the Indian culture and film industry," says Pattinson.

Pattinson lost the part in the movie but the casting director felt so guilty that she got him the role of Cedric Diggory in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and in a twist of fate, Pattinson and his fame seems to have already eclipsed the wizard boy.

'Twilight', the first movie in the vampire saga, which catapulted Pattinson to global stardom, was released in the country recently by PVR Pictures, who are also bringing 'New Moon' to India. However, Pattinson is already a craze here with fans catching up the movie on internet.

The actor plays a lovelorn vampire in the film, who falls for a mortal Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart. The film shows his struggle between love and a desire to kill Bella.

Pattinson believes that it is the "impossible" nature of Edward and Bella's love that has touched a chord with the youngsters.

"The film is about vampires but at its heart, it's actually a love story. The romance between a mortal and vampire may seem impossible but it is the highlight and the reason behind its success," Pattinson says.

"Everyone knows about love between humans, but when it is between humans and vampires, it seems other worldly and takes the audience into an imaginary place for two hours," he adds.

Robert Pattinson talks "Remember Me" & "Unbound Captives" to MTV

From MTV

Robert Pattinson Says Heading Into Non-'Twilight' Territory Is 'Scary'
'You're expected to come into the movie and provide not only economic viability, but also a performance,' he says.

With the #1 movie in the world bearing his name above the title and Hollywood’s hottest scripts lining his doorstep, it’s a good time to be Robert Pattinson. Not that the 23-year-old star has had much chance to enjoy it, as he recently told us he only received “three days off” in 2009, and 2010 looks even busier.

Recently, MTV Radio caught up with the man beloved by millions as Edward Cullen to discuss his plans for the new year — from “Breaking Dawn” and beyond.

“I’ve only done one movie outside of the ‘Twilight’ series, ‘Remember Me,’ ” Rob said of his first true post-fame project, a March 12 romantic drama opposite Emilie de Ravin whose shoot was most notable for its security issues. “But even that I did with the same studio, so I guess I’m still a little bit blind as to what my actual economic viability will be outside of the series.”

Undoubtedly, all eyes will be on “Remember Me” when it tests RPattz’s box-office clout in a few months. Following that and June’s “Eclipse,” his fans will have some other high-profile flicks to look out for.

“I think the tentative time for ‘Breaking Dawn’ is fall next year,” Rob said of the fourth “Twilight” novel, which might be split into two films. “Depending on how things go, I’m doing a movie called ‘Bel Ami’ in February, an adaption to a Guy de Maupassant novel. And I’m doing — I hope — a Western with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman called ‘Unbound Captives’ sometime around there as well. They’ve got to try and juggle things around until everybody’s schedules work.”

Rob said he was eager to play the “Unbound Captives” role because it’s unlike anything he’s done before. “I’m playing a kid who was kidnapped by Comanche [warriors] when he was 4 years old. And he was brought up by them, and then his mother spends her entire life trying to find me and my sister,” he said of Weisz’s vengeful-mom role. “When she finds us, we can’t remember who she is and can’t remember anything about the Western culture which she grew up in.

“It’s like, you can’t really be more different from Edward,” he added. “I actually signed on to that after I’d done ‘Twilight,’ in the summer after I’d finished [shooting]. It was really before anything had happened [to make me famous]. I wasn’t even really thinking about it.

“It’s just a cool script,” Pattinson said of the film, drawing comparisons to the classic final movie featuring the star he is most often compared to: James Dean. “It reminds me in a lot of ways of ‘Giant,’ which is one of my favorite movies. So I think that’s why I responded to it.”

Already booked pretty solidly for the next year, Rob said he’ll continue to read new scripts and look for other parts that might catch his attention — even if there are some facets of his newfound fame that undermine the process.

“It’s definitely different,” he said of being a famous actor as opposed to a struggling one. “You get offered stuff that you would never dream of getting offered before, but that’s also scary. You don’t have to audition for anything. [But] I don’t want to do a movie just so it gets made. … You have to question yourself a lot more.

“Before ‘Twilight,’ I did any movie that I got [offered], and you’d try and make the best of it afterwards,” he explained. “But now, you’re expected to come into the movie and provide not only economic viability, but also a performance as well. You can’t just mess around. People are like, ‘We’re employing you to be here, as a star and an actor.’ It’s difficult, and it’s scary.”

Grazie Magazine Says Robert Pattinson Denies Romance with Kristen Stewart - UPDATED

UPDATE: The "denial" quote is from Star Magazine's July 2009 edition,it's the EXACT SAME quote which means "shame on you Grazie! Shame on you for saying the interview was from Nov 6th when it clearly isn't!" Thanks to @tweetlighter for finding the original quote:))

I got an email with a "heads up!" message from Loisada, she said:

There's an interview in Grazia Magazine that's going to start a new FIRESTORM, because it contains a clear romance denial. It says it took place at the Nov 6 press meet, but is extremely long for those short meetings....As to the legitimacy of Grazia, it's an international fashion weekly/tabloid with outlets around the globe. Fairly reputable source. The article also has two writers: one a French speaker and the other appears to be an English speaker.

So with saying that here's the translation from Loisada. Thanks girl!

Keep in mind that this interview has been translated from English to French than back to English. I would also like to add that it's very strange how ONLY some international magazines got an answer for this...I personally do not think he answered the question that way...He's been avoiding that answer like plague...

Oh and once again: I am dedicating this song to everyone that freaks out whenever Rob and ANY girl is mentioned :)

My motto: "If he is not shagging me I don't care who he shags". Adopt the motto, you'll be happier :))

*Gozde ducks out, have fun :))*

Headline:
Robert Pattinson
“I’ve been dumped without any explanation.”

The success of Twilight has made him a sex symbol of the 2000s. But as the second movie in the series hits screens, the young Brit is eager for just one thing: putting the celebrity, the disheveled hair and the contact lenses behind him!

On this November 6th morning, the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills looks more like a gilded prison than a palace. Ever since Robert Pattinson turned up here to give a round of interviews, the hotel has been cloaked in a security system worthy of a Head of State: ten guards watch over all the entryways, while upstairs, where the actor is meeting the press, a team of bodyguards serves as the welcoming committee. A tad overdone, this security setup? Not really. Since he stepped in to play the hero of Twilight, Robert Pattinson has become one of the most hounded men on the planet. Wherever he goes, a throng of paparazzi and fans camp out in front of his hotel trying to get a glimpse of him. They hope to catch a smile or the tiniest ambivalent gesture towards his partner Kristen Stewart (a few days later, photos of the couple brushing hands in Paris will set the Web afire). Since the 2008 release of the first of four movies inspired by Stephenie Meyer’s best sellers, the Robert Pattinson craze has rivaled the sensations sparked by the Beatles and Leonardo DiCaprio in his Titanic days. Thousands of girls are smitten with the actor who plays Edward Cullen, the handsome eternally 17-year-old vampire with the alabaster skin who is hopelessly in love with a human girl. And the release of New Moon, the second movie in the series, will only make matters worse. And yet “Rob” doesn’t look at all like a lady-killer: smiling and rather reserved, he’s a hot-looking guy on the shy side. He considerately offers us a glass of water, then says “Bonjour, ca va?” in perfect French, before adding in English: “Don’t ask me your questions in your language, or we’ll be here all day.” Too bad, Rob, we would have gladly done just that!

Q: You’ve said there are a lot of similarities between New Moon and your own life? Can you give us some examples?

RP: In the beginning, Edward, my character, leaves Bella without any explanation, because he thinks it’s best for her. We’ve all made that kind of mistake. I’ve broken up with a girl before because I was convinced it wouldn’t work out, and I’ve been dumped without any explanation. In short, just like what happens in New Moon.

Q: Which vampire power would you like to have?

RP: Being able to disappear... for obvious reasons!

Q: You’re considered one of the world’s sexiest men, adored by thousands of fans. Leonardo DiCaprio has even said: “finally there’s someone to take the burden off me.” Is all this fame a burden for you?

RP: Nobody’s given me an instruction manual for dealing with it. I kind of stumbled into it by chance. When Twilight first became a hit, people on the street would call me Edward. I think they’re fascinated with the character, not me. It’s true that I can’t move around as freely these days. I can’t go out alone anywhere I might be recognized. A lot of the time I feel like a nocturnal animal, blinded by the headlights of a car about to run over me. But I refuse to complain about what’s happening to me. I just have to hunker down and let a few years go by. I know this craze will eventually die down. Then I’ll be able to look back and say I lived through some extraordinary things.

Q: What’s the craziest thing a fan ever asked you to do?

RP: The first time a girl asked me to bite her neck, I thought it was funny. She was completely serious; she wanted me to sink my teeth into her....

Q: Has all the hysteria ever gotten to be too much?

RP: I was leaving a beach, at the Cannes Festival, and found myself facing a big swarm of people. The bodyguards had to lift me up over the crowd, to get me to my car. It was surreal... but I’d rather just laugh it off.

Q: So what does draw you out of your lair, despite it all, make you willing to brave the hordes of fans?

RP: Discovering a foreign country. I’d like to take a trip to Vietnam. Maybe I could explore the beauties of Asia on a motorbike, with a rucksack. But I haven’t mentioned that to anybody but you, so keep it hush, so I can travel in peace. (laughs)

Q: What do you do when you’re not filming, or doing an interview, or trying to escape your groupies?

RP: I sleep! I work nonstop, and I’m a pretty shy guy, so I prefer the peace and quiet of my hotel room to a night out in a club.

Q: Are you working on other projects?

RP: I make myself do different movies between every Twilight shoot, because it’s a relief to go back to being a normal guy. That’s why I wanted to do Remember Me (editor’s note: set for release in February 2010) (Gozde's note: It's been pushed to March 2009)in the beginning of the summer. It’s the story of two lovers who try and save their relationship while grappling with family tragedies. I insisted they let me shoot it without make-up. I could finally touch my face and express my feelings without a mask covering my skin. Just be myself.

Q: Apparently you’re not allowed to cut your hair until all the Twilight shoots are over. A bit frustrating?

RP: Hair gel is the greatest modern-day invention! (laughs) It lets me keep Edward’s hairdo, or flatten down my hair if I want. Do I ever dream of just shaving my head? Of course!

Q: You and Kristen Stewart call yourselves “good friends.” What kind of bond do you share?

RP: We’ve both been living through this great Twilight adventure from day one, that alone makes us close. No one can really understand what we’ve been going through over this past year. When we’re together, we’re on the same wavelength, without having to say a word.

Q: To wrap up, the question everybody is wondering about... Are you in love?

RP: No. I don’t have time to have a girl in my life, anyway. I hop from one plane to the next. Nobody could stand sharing the life of a guy who’s always gone. For right now, I’m focused on my career. Love will come later... or by surprise.(Gozde: Uh...oh.... #DebateTillYouDie...Don't fight though and no Kristen bashing please :) Don't bash the translator either, other people read and translated it the same way. You can go ahead and bash the magazine if you'd like:))

Q: Who’s your ideal woman?

RP: Patricia Arquette in True Romance.(Gozde: We have so much in common! My ideal man (besides you of course) is Brad Pitt, not his character in True Romance though , he was a loser :))

Q: Will you take anything of Edward away with you, after Twilight?

RP: No. And the first thing I dream of doing is burning these damned tinted contacts. Every day on the set, they’re absolute torture!
