Robert Pattinson : 44th Most Influential Man According to AskMen
From Ajax World Magazine:
AskMen.com the world's largest lifestyle portal for men with more than 11 million visitors monthly, revealed its highly anticipated 4th annual reader-voted list of the Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2009 today.
The list assembles a diverse collection of men from around the world and from a variety of industries including entertainment, politics, technology, and sports. All the honorees had a direct effect on the way men see the world, and notably in 2009, many reflect classic values that are most meaningful to the male identity today.
"In a turbulent 2009, men are seeking the stability of tradition in the masculine qualities that they imagine their fathers and grandfathers to have had," says James Bassil, Editor-in-Chief of AskMen.com. "The character of Don Draper brings all these traits together, and in doing so speaks directly to the modern man. He's a man whose time has come."
Others on the list embody a host of classic qualities; Usain Bolt as the personification of competitive and athletic ability, President Barack Obama as the male portrait of classic statesmanship, Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs as pillars of entrepreneurial spirit and determination.
From AskMen.com :
The success of a little movie called Twilight turned Robert Pattinson into the British vampire equivalent of a young Brad Pitt. He's impossible to avoid. In 2009, he crashed the Academy Awards to present the Oscar for Best Romantic Feature, and then showed up at the MTV Movie Awards to accept three awards: Breakthrough Performance Male, Best Fight and Best Kiss, which he shared with his costar Kristen Stewart (rumored to be his real-life romantic interest as well).
The Twilight mania followed Robert Pattinson to Vancouver, B.C., for the filming of the second installment in the saga, New Moon. When he wasn't sharing screen time with his hot costars Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Bryce Dallas Howard, he was using bodyguards to protect him from the advances of adoring women, some of whom had traveled to the city in hopes of meeting him. It wasn't any easier for Robert Pattinson in New York, during the filming of 2010's Remember Me. He couldn't avoid the eyes of AskMen.com editors when we spotted him at the posh NYC clubs, and he nearly got smacked by a taxi cab when a mob of screaming fans gave chase. It's not easy being Hollywood's latest hunky vampire.

Robert Pattinson in GQ Australia and Elle Sweden
Vroom vroom! That's the Summit engine you hear :)
As we count down to the New Moon premiere (44 days...Eeeek!) Rob will be gracing the covers of all top notch magazines in the world. New interviews? Hopefully! From what we hear most of the European journalists interviewed Rob during Cannes and had to hold on to the interviews till now. So they will be old/new. Hey we'll take whatever we can get :)
Robert Pattinson will be featured in a 5 page article by Maria Lindholm in Swedish Elle Magazine out in October 15. (Look for a tidbit about us, yep us, Robsessed in the magazine :))
UPDATE: Australian GQ will be on stands tomorrow October 7th. (Thanks Monika)
He'll also be gracing the cover of the Australian GQ. Is it too much to hope for a repeat picture performance from GQ? According to TheAustralianNews.co.au:
The 10th anniversary of GQ in Australia, the October-November cover features American Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Would an Aussie bloke not have been more appropriate?
"We had intended to keep the covers Australian males because we've had such success with Hugh Jackman, Eric Bana and Michael Clarke, but there was something about Robert Pattinson that I couldn't go past," says Smith. "We got the shoot from the US edition and an exclusive interview with him on set in Italy, and of course the issue is smartly timed around the time the second (Twilight) film comes out."

Robert Pattinson On A Pumpkin?
Tim Gunn Thinks Robert Pattinson is Sloppy Looking
Rob, We like you, very much. Just as you are.
From celebuzz.com:
Don't expect Tim Gunn to be heaping accolades on Robert Pattinson for his fashion sense anytime soon.
Celebuzz caught up with Project Runway mentor Gunn at the Marshalls "Shop Till It Stops" anti-domestic violence event in Santa Monica, California, on Thursday and asked him the question that's on everybody's mind: What does he think about Twilight heartthrob Pattinson landing a spot on People magazine's best-dressed list?
Gunn opined,
"Robert Pattinson...It's a look. It's a style. I mean, he could...he could be stunning, but I think it's a little sloppy for my taste."
Cue mass Twi-hard indignation in 3...2...1...
So if Pattinson isn't Gunn's cup of tea, who does he think does deserve the title of best-dressed man?
According to Gunn,
"I love George Clooney's look. I think Justin Timberlake always looks great."
Robert Pattinson NOT Up For Royal Role
Color me surprised. As I called it the other day Robert Pattinson is NOT in the running for the new Prince Harry Movie... Good going contact music.com you still have a long way to catch OK! though...
From Gossip Cop:
Is a vampire battling a wizard for royalty?
The Internet is buzzing with talk that “Twilight” heartthrob Robert Pattinson and “Harry Potter” sidekick Rupert Grint are on the short list to play Britain’s Prince Harry in an upcoming film called The Spare. According to stories on E! and elsewhere, the two young stars, along with Rupert Friend, are “among the hotties in the running” for the lead role. OK! goes so far as to declare, “Robert Pattinson is in line to play Prince Harry in a new movie.”
To borrow a phrase from our British friends — bullocks!
Director Peter Kosminsky never actually said whether Pattinson, Grint, or anyone else was being considered for the prince. The Harry biopic is still too far off. An associate of Kosminsky tells Gossip Cop that he has another movie he’s working on, and in terms of casting for The Spare, they’re “not at that stage.”
