Harry Potter Star: Thank You, Robert Pattinson!

Tom Felton, the villianous Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, can't avoid it.

All anyone wants to know about these days is what was it was like to work with Robert Pattinson when he played Cedric Diggory in two Potter flicks.

"Obviously, we met a few times and had the old chat, but I don't recall going that deep with him," Felton admits from New York City, where he's promoting the DVD release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. "He was tremendously professional on-set and a great laugh."

But best of all, Felton says, Pattinson's Twilight success is "proof that there's life after Harry Potter."

Robert Pattinson's Musician Friend Bobby Long Talks About "Paparazzi Attack" :)

Audio of Bobby Long at Portland concert joking about the paparazzi chase: "it was my 1st time"

(laughing) You have no idea how hard it is sometimes. (laughing) I'm joking. Yeah, I do, we got chased last night. (laughing) It was my first time and it was great, uh... (laughing) It was also one of the weirdest...I dunno. LA is just crazy back there it's nice to be in a place where... I think LA tries to be cool (mumbles) and it thinks it's cooler than here. (laughing) But that's why it's nice going to a place I guess where it's actually cool and people are cool, and not sold out. And they're all in great clothes, I like the clothes, When I was younger I used to do that, and that's why I insist on having my jacket for Portland. And my mum and my dad, used to try and find me stuff to wear. (laughing) (and then hestarts talking about the song he's about to sing)

Robert Pattinson: Impossible to Avoid, Impossible to dislike

By Mariane Morisawa (Translated by ViviLitt )

"New Moon", the second part of the saga "Twilight", hits theaters around the world on Friday (20). You may think: "Forget it, this is for teenagers". But you will not be able to escape the wave that will sweep the planet. And I suspect - actually, I know - that a lot of women (in their 20's, 30's, 40's ...) love the series written by Stephenie Meyer. Plus, they love Robert Pattinson, the actor who plays the vampire Edward Cullen.

I did not understand why so much confusion, until I watched, way later than most, the first film (about two months ago). As a movie, "Twilight" is really bad. Neither the special effects and makeup are good, something serious in a production about vampires. But it was easy to understand why the fever. Edward Cullen is a romantic vampire, without that extreme self-confidence that these beings often have. He falls for awkward teen Bella (the equally awkward Kristen Stewart). He really fears, however, not being able to resist his impulses and hurt her. Worse, he fears that she is hurt by any of the other vampires. The parallel between blood and sex is explicit here. But this makes him a dream lover of any teenager.

That's not all. Everyone, especially those of males, may speak ill of Robert Pattinson. 'He does not take a bath'. 'He looks like a drunk'. The truth is, however, that it has been a long time, probably since Leonardo DiCaprio, that did not appear a guy with such a hearthrob vibe. And what's wrong with that? The film industry needs it. Robert Pattinson sells. Hence the cover of Vanity Fair, a magazine that is far from being for teenagers. Hence the cover of Entertainment Weekly, the bible of the entertainment.

Intrigued, I began to look for and read the interviews of the 23 year old boy. And you know what? You cannot NOT like Robert Pattinson. First, let's agree that the boy is a little young (certainly too young for my taste) (Kate: Uh should I comment, oh go on then, less competition for me!) but really handsome - take a look at the photoshoot made by Bruce Weber for Vanity Fair and disagree if you can.

Second, he exudes great sincerity and no arrogance, so typical of youngsters who start to be successful. On the contrary, he does not take himself seriously, making fun of himself. "It sounds silly, but in many ways my hair is 75% of my performance," he told Entertainment Weekly that hit newsstands in the U.S. last Friday (13). Other than that, thinks that he is to blame, for not coping well with the harassment - that is so intense that he can not even leave the hotel room. "I'm not the kind of guy fit to be on a movie franchise. I don't like crowds" he said to Vanity Fair.
And he seems to want to be a real actor. Such that he has chosen more alternative projects, like the western directed by actress Madeleine Stowe ( "Unbound Captives") and a romantic drama with Emilie de Ravin ( "Remember Me"). For all that, you can say with ease that he has far more qualities that 90% of 23 years actors out there. So, leave the boy alone. (Kate: here, here)

Digitally Remastered Eclipse Will Hit IMAX Theaters on June 30th 2010

From Collider.com:

Summit Entertainment has announced The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be released in both conventional theaters and in IMAX on June 30, 2010. While the film was shot with regular cameras, IMAX is going to digitally re-master the movie with their proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology so it can be shown in IMAX theaters.

With the huge money The Twilight Saga has been making at theaters, it’s no surprise everyone wants it in IMAX. This way, theater owners can charge more for tickets and everyone involved can make more money. It’s just unfortunate that they didn’t film any of the movie using IMAX cameras. Of course, with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn still to be shot, perhaps the final chapter will be a real IMAX release.

You can read the whole press release over at Collider.com

Gozde: So it won't be a real IMAX experience since the movie is already shot and done. It WILL be a $20 movie experience though :)

P.S.: If you've never heard of IMAX before go HERE :)

Robert Pattinson- Most Kissable Celeb

According to FemaleFirst.co.uk
It was nothing we didn’t already know but a recent poll has made it a proven fact that our famous Brit beauties do it the best in the stakes to measure who are the most fanciable boys and girls.

It was decided that Cheryl Cole and Robert Pattinson have been voted the famous faces (or lips) that people would most like to kiss under the mistletoe this Christmas. A worthy victory, I say. (Kate: Me Too!)

The poll, carried out to mark the installation of the world’s largest sprig of mistletoe at Heathrow Terminal 5, asked over 1,000 people who they would most like to pucker up with under the traditional Christmas foliage.

Cheryl proved far more desirable than US beauties Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie, gaining a third of all votes with 32% and even triumphed over X Factor co-judge Dannii Minogue, who only managed a meagre 2%. It was a closer shave for Robert Pattinson, who pulled in 285 of the vote, with fellow Brits Daniel Craig and Jude Law hot on his heels in second and third place.

The results also show that Brits would rather plant a peck on the cheek of a UK celebrity rather than one of their American counterparts, seeing as Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal all missed out on the top spot.

Celebrities regularly pass through Heathrow’s arrivals halls, so some lucky passengers may just see their Kiss-Mas dream come true, underneath the airport’s new romantic installation.(Kate: Maybe I should book a flight to London and wait for Rob under that Mistletoe!)

Kate: Sorry I went a bit mad with the kissing pics LOL

Poll Results: How Old Are You?

The poll we conducted in April 2009 said 32% of ROBsessed readers were teenagers, 34% was in their 20s, 21% was in their 30s, 7% in their 40s, 2% in their 50s and 1% was over 60.

Our poll from last week says 21% of our readers are teenagers, 38% is in their 20s, 24% is in their 30s, 12% in their 40s, %5 in their 50s, 1% over 60 :) So looks like we ran the teenagers away, oops, boohoo!

Taket THAT media who keeps saying Robert Pattinson fans are all teenagers. (*sticks tongue out and blows raspberry*yeah I'm that mature :))

Age is a matter of mind, if you don't mind it doesn't matter :)
