Robert Pattinson's "Water For Elephants" & "Breaking Dawn" Named On Box Office Mojo's 2011 Preview
See what they have to say about them below.
While sequels, remakes, comic book adaptations and animated movies will inevitably dominate 2011's box office, there will still be a few hits that don't fall in to any of these categories. In 2009, there was Avatar, The Hangover and The Blind Side, and in 2010 there was Inception. Here's a look at ten of the contenders, including three high-profile book adaptations, a few alien invasion movies, a potential Twilight successor or two and some wholly original wild cards.
Water for Elephants (April 22): It's easy to dismiss Robert Pattinson as just part of the Twilight craze thanks to the poor box office performance of Remember Me last March. However, his next movie Water for Elephants is poised to be much more successful: it's helmed by blockbuster director Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend), has interesting co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz and is based on a reportedly popular book.

Breaking Dawn (Part One) (Nov. 18) follows a trilogy, but one that ended on a high note: with $300.5 million, third entry Eclipse pulled off the rare feat of out-grossing the second entry New Moon. Breaking Dawn returns to the pre-Thanksgiving slot of the first Twilight and New Moon (and formerly Harry Potter), but will have the longest wait yet (17 months). Add in a reportedly mixed fan reaction to the novel and how being broken in two didn't help Deathly Hallows Part 1, and it wouldn't be surprising if interest ebbs for Breaking Dawn. (Kate: We shall see!)

Robert Pattinson makes a house salad sexy
From LA TIMES, Ministry of Gossip column:
Robert Pattinson recently enjoyed a night out in Baton Rouge, La., with the boys of "Breaking Dawn."The men of "Twilight," who've been exploring the city as they film the final two installments of the film franchise, popped out for food and drink on Tuesday.
Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Jamie Campbell-Bower and Michael Sheen hit local joint Tsunami, reports Hollywood Life, for sushi, sashimi and even a few shots. A nearby table of admirers sent some lemon drops over to the vampire gang.
While that highbrow snacking is more like Hollywood, Rob has been sampling to local fare as well. Recently stopping by a deli chain called Maxwell's Market, the actor caused hysteria with the female staff, according to People.
So what did he order -- a juicy po' boy or some cajun delight?
"He ordered a house salad," a staffer told the Ministry. "It wasn't that exciting."
We dare say the young female population begs to differ.
Ya damn right, Ministry of Gossip (the LA Times gossip reporter)! It's house salads from here on out! I plan to lose some weight on the Rob diet. Good bye steaks, hello blue cheese dressing on the side!

Robert Pattinson Gets A New Stalker - Paul Giamatti
Earlier this week, Paul Giamatti was at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival to support his film, "Win Win," a title that also aptly describes another flick the recent Golden Globe-winner has on his horizon: "Cosmopolis."
Why is "Win Win" so fitting a description of Giamatti's participation in "Cosmopolis"? Well, he gets work with director David Cronenberg and Robert Pattinson, of course! (Kate: Well that's definitely a Win, Win situation!)
After Giamatti, who stood with his "Win Win" costar Bobby Cannavale, admitted he was "not sure" when production on "Cosmopolis" would come together, there was one thing that was certain: he'd get to work with the "dreamiest man alive."
"I get to stalk him," a deadpan Giamatti said of getting to work on a set with R-Pattz.
(Kate: Emmm excuse me sir but the queue starts that-a-way -> -> )
While Giamatti (who also divulged to MTV about his part in the highly anticipated "Hangover 2") said he hasn't yet met Pattinson he claimed (though quite possibly tracing the slightest hint of sarcasm there) to have seen the "Twilight" films. (Kate: WHAT? A man being sarcastic about "Twilight" NEVER!)
As Pattinson explained to MTV News recently, he signed onto the project "basically because of Cronenberg." "I said yes as soon as he called," he added. "It's scary, though. It's an interesting script."
"Cosmopolis," based on the novel of the same name by Don DeLillo, is about a billionaire asset manager (Pattinson) who has a very bizarre day in Manhattan. Marion Cotillard was originally set to play Pattinson's wife in the film, but has since dropped out of the project. Kiera Knightley is now being rumored to take over the part.
