"i know this isn’t a picture but im going with it. i get so frustrated with Rob films that dont give us Twilight-level extras on the DVDs. i want more more more. i want a 20 hour movie that has Rob as the leading man and on the commentary and 50,000 deleted scenes added plus 100,000 set interviews from Rob. i want it ALL. i would be in heaven if i had access to all the footage stored in the archives of Rob’s film’s studios or whoever the fuck owns this stuff. anyway, im on a drunk rant. point being, we did not see this scene and i wish we saw this scene. there’s a still of Rob and Uma that is also a scene we did not see. when he undresses her. that’s a pic and i suppose i should have used that but im using this. i wanna see this stuff! ugh. and right now, as im typing this, i want to see DuRob taking Mado on the chaise with his slidy foot. YES PLEASE!"

Kate: I totally agree/ This is one of my FAVOURITE Rob movies and I was so disappointed that we got so little extras on the DVD

"I loved this scene in “Bel Ami”. Georges was SO proud of his beautiful wife & OF COURSE was totally up for a bit of hanky panky, unfortunately she wasn’t (stupid woman) but we did get a growling Georges in this scene!"

Robert Pattinson knows how to treat his leading ladies. 

R. Pattz was out tonight at the Elle Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills to present an award to his Bel Ami costar Uma Thurman. 

"I'm learning how to read tonight," an actually nervous-looking Pattinson said when he reached the stage. "I find this terrifying." 

He laughed, saying that it was "so annoying" to follow other presenters and honorees "who were so funny...[and]so smart." (Tink: Oh Rob...you are just as funny and smart.)

The Twilight star was dressed in a gray suit, white shirt and tie, his five-o'clock shadow creeping toward six and his hair messy but cool. Pattinson said working with Thurman was a "pretty crazy experience," describing her Bel Ami role as his wife as "someone more intelligent, more charming, wittier and better in bed than me." 

"Which," he added with a smile, "was obviously very difficult to cast." (Tink: Heheheheeee...and you act like you're not as funny and smart as others.)

The codirectors "s--t their pants" when Thurman first walked on set, "and I did a little bit, as well," he cracked. 

"Rob, you're a real gentleman on and off the screen," Thurman gushed back. (Tink: *sigh* he truly is...) 

Pattinson's appearance was not publicized beforehand. Instead, he skipped the red white carpet and entered the event through a side entrance at the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills. He sat by Thurman's side at her table along with Smash cocreator Neil Meron. At one point, Pattinson stood up to talk to Twilight costar Anna Kendrick.

Yesterday Christina Ricci did lots of talking about Robert Pattinson and today it's the turn of his other female co-stars Uma Thurman & Kristin Scott Thomas



First up Uma Thurman

Uma Thurman has praised her 'Bel Ami' co-star Robert Pattinson for his acting ability.

The 25-year-old actor became very involved for his role as 19th century Parisienne womaniser Georges Duroy for the film, and Uma insists he is constantly working hard to bring his skills up to the "next level."

In an interview with Stylist magazine, she said: "He's very serious. He did a huge amount of rehearsals in his own time. I think that's what you do when you're a young actor, when you take your work very seriously and want to take it to the next level."

The film’s decor is rich in details, from the flowers on the wall to the bed sheets. Donnellan and Ormerod’s actors shine in this satire of a vile and corrupt society in which we recognise today’s vices, to the point that the seductive young man that we meet at the beginning of the film ends up seeming absolutely despicable. Their film shows the cynicism of the novel Bel-Ami, and is adapted with loyalty and such human and social realism that it remains extremely relevant today.

We posted about the Bel Ami premiere date at the Berlin Film Festival but it has been confirmed again via distributor, Studio Canal Germany.

Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, and Christina Ricci are slated to attend the world premiere of Bel Ami on Friday, February 17th.
