Glamour Germany asked their readers what they'd do if Robert Pattinson was to fall in love with them. 39% thought it would be so romantic while 42% said he didn't shower enough to be their lover. Well, even though I think 61% of Glamour readers are out of their friggin' minds this poll also means less competition for us ROBsessors :)

British star Robert Pattinson is the biggest movie star due to the popularity of his vampire role in the Twilight saga. Euphoria around him can be only compared to the one that happened around Leonardo Di Caprio around Titanic success. There are 25 security guards on the set of his movies, and when fans got to him, they offer him their necks or even vials of their own blood.

Obsession isn't limited to teens only, middle aged women established Twilight Moms and claim Robert improved their sex life, he makes them feel 8, 14 and 31 years at the same time.

There are six unauthorized books published about him and a documentary Robsessed.

He doesn't like that much attention, fans are all right, but paparazzi are awful.

He was first noticed in the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry potter movie, after that he got a role in theatre play The Woman Before, but he did something really strange rehearsing the role, director didn't like it and he lost the role right before the opening night.

He wanted to quit acting, made some films (How To Be, The Haunted Airman, Little Ashes), tried to enter the music world, but wasn't very successful.

His life changed after he landed the role in Twilight. He was suddenly a star and one of the most sought after actors of Hollywood.

We are waiting for his movie Remember Me to hit theatres this year (Darja: no, it already premiered !!! some of us are waiting for DVD release).

He recently finished Bel Ami. "The cast was amazing. Christina Ricci, Kristin Scott Thomas and Uma Thurman and I've slept with all of them," Robert bragged. (Darja: really, when did he say that ???? really Gozde: Way to spice up the article :) They are talking about him sleeping with them for the movie but it wouldn't be a sensational quote if they included that little bit :))

Now he's making Water For Elephants with Reece Witherspoon and Christophe Waltz, later this year he will be shooting fourth, last part of vampire saga, Breaking Dawn. After that there is a western Unbound Captives, and he chose it because his father is obsessed with the genre.

Robert didn't change much since his Harry potter days, he is still shy. He started acting to meet more girls.

He wanted to be professional musician and his dream was to play a piano in a bar in South of France.

He's so obsessed with Van Morrison he wish he can play him in a movie.

He lives between London and L.A, supports football club Arsenal, his family is mom Clare, dad Richard, sisters Elizabeth and Victoria...

The only thing he is not willing to talk about is his love life. His romance with costar Kristen Stewart interests journalists the most, but all he's willing to say is: "Kristen is amazing, I wanted to work with her since I met her for the fist time. We liked each other immediately."

They fell in love during the shooting of Twilight. She had a boyfriend at the time. but Robert was persistent. "I asked her out many times before she said yes," he admitted in a moment of weakness. Later he stopped talking about it. They were secretive about their relationship during New Moon and Eclipse. He was seen in public with many beauties like Camilla Belle and Anne Schoenberger (Darja: really, Anne again Gozde: It's never gonna end :) The girl had the publicity of her lifetime with that rumor) and ex-girlfriend Nina Schubert, but it was all just to divert attention away from Kristen. The latest news is they're looking for a house in Los Angeles where they will live together

Except for his roles in Harry Potter and Twilight movies, Robert Pattinson' s work is less known.
Remember Me will tell if young Brit can attract his fans as a mortal person.

From hero to ordinary guy

The role of emotionally confused young man suits him well. Twilight fans who are used to see him as a romantic virgin are going to be surprised.

Remember Me teaches us that love can save us. Do you believe in that power of love?

Definitely, people we love make us feel safe and supported. they help us find ourselves. Ally shows Tyler the right way to live. When she's around, everything is right. This works in
real life as well.

How do you manage to stay grounded around all the worship of your female fans?

It' simple. I'm scared of it so I freeze. No, I'm kidding. I can't take this enthusiasm for real.
Girls don't fall in love with me, they fall in love with the characters I play. I'm definitely not like Vampire Edward or Tyler.

In Remember Me drama you play an ordinary teenager for the first time. Is there a piece of Robert in this role?

At first I was excited not to play a romantic role, it's easier to improvise or follow your instinct. But I couldn't find any similarities between me and Tyler.

Do you consider yourself a slave of your success? Would you sometimes like to go back to the beginning of your career?

No way. I like my profession. The only thing I don't like is the lack of anonymity. In the movie there are scenes where I just walk the streets and don't think about anything. Sounds simple? It's not if there are 50 onlookers staring at you from 10 metres away and photographing, while you walk the street and the camera rolls.

Is it easier to meet pretty girls as a movie star opposed to an ordinary guy?

On the contrary, it's much more complicated to meet women who are really interested in you. You can't rely on people being honestly nice to you.

How do you decide whom to trust or not?

It's simple, if they call you the moment you give them your phone number, you can forget about it. People who use that circumstance aren't trustworthy.

On your first date, what do you say first?

Nothing at all. I wait until she says something. You should always listen first
and find out what she wants to hear before opening your mouth.

Former James Bond Pierce Brosnan is giving advice to young costar on how to handle fame. They worked together on the movie Remember Me which premieres in American movie theatres in the beginning of April (Kate: Should be March of course) On his work with famous actor the star of vampire movies talked with the Vogue magazine.

Darja didn't translate the rest on the interview, since people can read about it in the original magazine, Vogue, it's the story about their lunch together, people were watching, Pierce introduced himself.... and the part where Rob states his opinion on Twitter and Facebook.

It happened on Croisette, but it's an everyday scene for him. He was entering a nightclub on Cote d'Azur and the mass hysteria in front of it reached a peak 15 minutes ago. Pattinson didn't know what to do, smile or worry about the extent of his popularity after the stellar success of the second of the Twilight saga movies. What was it that obsessed the mostly teenage girls? The rebellious style of a 23 years old actor? His dangerous radiant masculinity,despite his relatively young age? His angel face or the deadly combination of them all? Pattinson is aware of his popularity, how could he not be.
After his romance with costar Kristen Stewart ended, he started to run from the media world. He gave one of his last interviews in November of last year, it was necessary for the promotion of the movie.
"My life changed radically after the success of the movie and it became bizarre," said Pattinson, casually stretched in an armchair. "I can't understand the screaming. I can't understand why the restaurant where I dined only once during the making of New Moon in Vancouver suddenly the most sought after place to dine in otherwise idyllic city. I wanted to celebrate my birthday with my family there and I couldn't get a table. Think about it, only a couple of weeks later and every table was booked weeks in advance."

To avoid the attention, Pattinson started to eat in less established, even cheap places..
"No one can imagine what the diners I visit lately look like," he smiled. "And no, I don't have a private life anymore. There is no chance for me to exit the hotel unnoticed and take a walk without being under siege. I have to plan in advance every step with complicated logistics. I don't have any time off. It's hard to believe, but lately I'm relaxed only during the making of the movie, because we are shooting in remote areas. I haven't left my hotel in months. Pretty stupid, right?"
Locked in his hotel room, Pattinson plays guitar, watches movies or reads. Whenever is possible and he's at home, he visits childhood friends and spends the evening in their company.
"My life is boring because I want to live it that way," he said thoughtfully.
"It' s not that rare for me to stay at home and the next day I read in newspapers where I have been. Unbelievable, but true. My Mum is an obsessive gossip magazines reader and she often googles me and she is upset if something is not written according to the facts. Ha Ha ha."

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are, thanks to the movies Twilight and New Moon, among the most popular actors at the moment. They didn't become famous overnight, before the two box office hits they made several movies, not worth mentioning(and in Pattinson's case, photos) *

Robert Pattinson admits he was never a very good model. He is so much better as a vampire Edward Cullen. His girl-fans are stopping him on the streets and ask him to bite their throat. "I don't know what's wrong with them. Do they really think I am a vampire?"
His first bigger role was in fourth and fifth of the Harry Potter movies.

Robert Pattinson, handsome 23 year old British actor probably doesn't need a special introduction. Only a short one will do: he's the vampire from Twilight who conquered so many hearts. He is also the man who knows what he is talking about. It's a pleasure talking to him and one can see he is not an airhead, what we can occasionally say for some other celebrities. In New Moon he once again gives us an excellent performance of the mysterious Edward Cullen. It was easier this time, he says.

Do you like interviews?
I don' mind them. But it's true: foreign journalists are better than American. They follow questions and answers, while American tend to make you say whatever their editor wants to hear. It would be better to have a list of things they want me to say and I would just say them. So they could always be content.

What was the most frequent question asked in the last few days?
They kept asking me if we were doing practical jokes during making the movie. They want to know that concerning every movie. Do you make practical jokes while sitting in your office? (Gozde: You mean like poking your coworkers with a sharp stick? Sure...All the time :))
