The A-listers will be out in force, the films will go on to awards-season glory, and the European Film Market will be a dealmaking juggernaut when the 62nd annual showcase begins Feb. 9. Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it's the frigid Berlin winter that inspires critics to repeat the same bitter litany year after year about the Berlinale, that there are no stars, no good films, no new ideas. 

Several wags called 2011's fest "the worst Berlinale ever." Really? A festival that included Wim Wenders' groundbreaking 3D documentary Pina, J.C. Chandor's furious financial drama Margin Call and the astounding Iranian film A Separation -- all of which picked up Oscar nominations on Jan. 24?

When the 62nd Berlinale opens Feb. 9, expect the critics to be just as disgruntled. And just as wrong. Berlin's broad, eclectic selection process makes it harder to pick which titles will be the big breakouts, but given the festival's track record, there will be some.

Festival director Dieter Kosslick has taken to combing the indie ranks for smaller features, often directorial debuts, with big-name casts. So this year, Berlin has the world premiere of Bel Ami, a period piece from first-timers Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod that counts Robert Pattinson, Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas among its A-list talent.

It's Not Just "Regular" Women That Crush on Robert Pattinson

You and I aren't the only ones that can't resist Robert Pattinson's appeal. Super models , cracked out singers, over exposed heiresses , weird movie characters and some pretty straight men confessed their crash on Robert Pattinson. Now we have The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford telling the world how she crushes on Rob :)

Despite the bitterly cold temperatures in London last night, The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford decided to show off her toned figure in a daring outfit of sheer shirt, leather hotpants and printed suspender-style tights.

While bass player Dougie seemed to be enjoying his girlfriend's sexy outfit at the party, Frankie recently revealed he suffers from terrible jealousy and banned her from attending the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

Asked who she has a crush on, Frankie replied: 'Robert Pattinson... I really wanted to go to his new film premiere, but my boyfriend Dougie wouldn't let me.

'He said, "I'm not taking you, you'll run away with him."'

In addition to Frankie, Paramore star Hayley Williams tweeted "OMG RPattz!" a couple of weeks ago with no further explanation and 2 days ago she sent one of her friends this picture. She looks "chagrined" more than "I want to jump his bones" but whatever :)
