This past weekend marked the first time Water for Elephants was not in the top 10 films but after 5 weekends in the top 10, this 6th weekend still gave us reason to celebrate.

Water for Elephants is now over the $100 million mark worldwide!


Reuters and Box Office Mojo reports domestic box office at $54.4 million and The Hollywood Reporter has WFE at $50.7 million in foreign box office sales, $105.1 million total.

This is a funny post to me because I wrote the words above but on the WFE website. I just got back from Vegas and my mind can't come up with anything else original. ;)) It needs a hard reset.

How AMAZING is this for Rob though?? I said congrats to all the other people on the WFE site but on here I can talk about how happy I am for just Rob. This is wonderful and warms my heart. Fabulous mark on his beautiful career.

Pop the champagne! Water for Elephants surpassed $50 million at the box office on Thursday, May 19th.



The film is still preforming well on the weekends so take your friends and family. The total box office is $86.5M and should increase by Monday when more foreign tallies come in, likely pushing WFE past $100M worldwide!

Box Office Mojo reports the following:

Domestic: $48.9 million (should surpass $50 million this week!)

Foreign: $36.3 million

Total: $85.2 million

NOTE: Not sure if this includes the $2.628 million from Australia. Also, UK, Russia, and Brazil (markets over $1M) have not been updated since 5/8/11. This could mean the total is higher and still needs to debut in other international markets.

$100 million here we come! GO ROB!
