UPDATE2: Deadline reports that Nicole Kidman is in talks to replace Naomi Watts and that James Franco will fill Jude Law's role. Rob is still in the film according to them. Click HERE to read.

Queen of the Desert's producer, Cassian Elwes, sat down with The Hollywood Reporter and the status of Queen of the Desert was brought up. It's reported that Rob, along with Naomi Watts, have dropped out:

THR: With Naomi Watts and Robert Pattinson dropping out of Werner Herzog’s Gertrude Bell biopic Queen of the Desert, is the project dead?
Elwes: It’s been in casting hell, but we feel like we are coming out of it now. I think we’re close to making an announcement.

I'm ok. Are you ok? I tend to not get emotionally committed to Rob's films until they hit production because he could wind up leaving them in pre-prod for a number of reasons.

This award show was tonight in Los Angeles. There was a rumor about Rob appearing on twitter but now we see it wasn't a rumor.





Rob presented the award to Chris Weitz who was honored at the ceremony as director for A Better Life. Hopefully we get an official picture of the two of them :) Seems like we should.

Sad news for all Twi-Hards. With Breaking Dawn coming closer, the Twilight Saga is really approaching the final end. One relief: Fancy got the chance to fly to LA for an parting interview with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. ‘When we were filming the final scenes, we all started crying’.

‘Because of my fame, I think like a spy now’.

We heard that during a steamy sex scene, you destroyed a bed!
‘You are very aware, hahaha! When Kristen and I had to play the honeymoon, I totally immersed in the scene. But I need to make it clear: the bed isn’t destroyed. Because of the love bites with my vampire teeth, only some pillow covers and sheets from expensive, Egyptian linen are mutilated. But still dreadful.’

Have you taken a reminder from the set?
‘Hmm, let’s think… During shooting I stole the bathrobe from my hotel room for the first time, haha! But from the Breaking Dawn-set I haven’t taken anything away. While shooting Eclipse I did. I shipped some BMX-bikes from the film to my home in LA. But when the film crew discovered that, I had to give them back.’

Because of Twilight you have become a celebrity. Does that only have benefits or are there also some downsides?
‘Being famous is very cool! I travel a lot, I meet very nice people… But it also has some downsides. I’m searching for a home in London at the moment. While viewing the house, lots of strange thoughts popped up in my mind. Can paparazzi park their cars in front of this house? Are strange fans able to camp on my pavement? I think like a spy or a secret agent and that’s pretty weird.’

What are you planning to do after Twilight?
‘After Breaking Dawn you will be able to see me in the movie Bel Ami and in the drama Cosmopolis. But what I’m really excited about is to start making music again. I play the guitar and the piano and between shooting the scenes I wrote lots of songs. So I can’t wait to perform again. The energy you feel when you show up in a full house: super!’

Robert Pattinson will preform all the roles in Cosmopolis

That was quick. In a "just kidding" from the Cosmopolis producer, Keira Knightley has been removed from their website.



I'm ok with a film starring only Robert Pattinson. He can do ALL the roles. He needs his Castaway. That might not be the best move for his career but I'm a selfish ROBsessor ;)

A meeting between the two is discreetly being arranged. Though Katrina is not talking about it, her representatives are in touch with Robert Pattinson's agent.

Kat is in London for Christmas and is hoping to meet Pattinson this week.

"Obviously, I can't stand under his window to get his attention. So yes, the meeting has to be more formal. He says he's single, but I don't believe him. That's what they all say," says the besotted actress.

Gozde: Umm, o-kay then. This is one of the weirdest "celebrity" crush stories I've ever read. She does know that Rob is NOT Edward Cullen right? Because, you know, Edward Cullen is a literary character :))

Do I believe a meeting had been set up? NO. Do I believe she is trying to get her name in the press? YES. Would I like to be a fly on the wall IF the meeting would actually take place? YES. I would love to see how uncomfortable Rob would be :))

In an ideal world, people would always be searching out those tiny art films but it’s nice that Twilight fans are looking forward to Little Ashes.

I wanted to do it to break down what I thought I could do, but Dali is incredibly self-conscious throughout the movie so I thought all the nude scenes and stuff worked with me being nervous anyway.

Nude scenes! Although, are you saying your first on-screen sex scene is with a bloke?

We both refused to shave before doing it...

...It’s very uncomfortable in terms of scratching each other with our stubble – it made me feel sorry for women!

Edward and Bella’s reunion in New Moon is good. It’s different from the book so I think people will be happy.(Gozde: If Bella doesn't run to the clock tower through the crowd and if Edward isn't under it shirtless I'm going to HUNT Melissa Rosenberg down and smack her senseless)

This movie will have a very different mood. In visual terms it’s going to be so different from Twilight. It’s also a lot scarier. Chris [Weitz, New Moon director] is very willing to go down that route.

So, are they going to tie you up in that harness again for the sequel?

Luckily, I just have to get beaten up in this one!
