I Hate To Flirt!
He has never flirted with a girl, and he's not very romantic. But we love the it-boy Robert Pattinson (23) anyway.

- Hi! Robert yawns loudly.
Tired or what? I ask.
- Hehe, I'm sorry. I'll shake off my tiredness. It's my first day off in a long time, the hunk answers.
Robert wears a brown wool jumper, black trousers, sneakers and a caps when we meet him at The Dorchester Hotel in London. With a huge beard and messy, half long hair, it's difficult to imagine Robert as the clean shaved vampire Edward Cullen. But he still looks handsome when he takes a sip from a bottle of Cola Light that stands in front of him at the table.
The last years have passed by fast for the English man. Right after he was done filming Twilight, he started shooting the film Remember Me, which arrives in cinemas soon. To be the new it-boy both in Hollywood and other places in the world takes a lot of energy from the 23-year old. Sometimes, it would've been good not to be recognised everywhere.
If you had 24 hours when no one recognised you, what would you have done?
- Nothing special, really. It's a little bit weird, because I've been in London for a while now, and I can walk around and live my life as usual, something I didn't think would work. In the USA it doesn't work, though.
Maybe it's because of the beard?
- Yes, I think that might be a reason.
Why did you grow a beard?
- I want to try to go to an audition without anyone knowing who I am, and see what happens. But I don't think they'll let me keep it in my next movie anyway...

What is it like to meet one of the most popular movie stars?

Friday January 22nd. TOPP reporter Stine Hartman got to chat with a hugely popular teen idol in London.

The 23 years old ”Twilight” favorite, Robert Pattinson, who in a few years have risen from a relatively unknown ”Harry Potter” actor to be mentioned side by side with the biggest stars in Hollywood, is the hot topic at the moment and on Thursday he took time off from his busy day to be interviewed.

Many of you will probably be envious as you now get to hear that we have met the RPattz in person, but we are saving the interview for the next issue of the magazine.

What we now want to hear is how it really was like to meet Robert in real life.

- He is deadly handsome; even though his face almost disappeared in the heavy facial hair he has now. He almost looked like a guy who had lived in the forest for a couple of months, but was still very attractive. He is no diva and seems to be like the guy next door where he sat next to me drinking one diet coke after another, admits Stine to topp.no



- At the beginning he seemed very tired. This was after all his only day off for a while now as he goes straight into filming Bel Ami, which premieres next year. But he was able to promise us steamy hot scenes with both Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci, explains Hartmann.

- He wore very casual clothing – woolen sweater, black jeans, sneakers and a cap and didn’t really seem to care that much about fashion. However he could reveal that he did like Marc Jacobs a lot. A plus for me who sat there with my brand new Marc Jacobs! He smiled when I said that I liked Marc Jacobs a lot too, reveals Topps reporter to topp.no

- But unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures of him or ask questions about his private life, but I still managed to pry a couple of things out of him, says Stine.

That was the first impression we got when we met the hearthrob in Beverly Hills for an interview. TOPP have met the 23-year old two times earlier, but we haven't been 100% charmed. But today, he is in a good mood. Robert leans back in his chair, crosses his legs and takes a sip from a bottle of Fiji water.

- Hi, Robert smiles flirty, and pulls his fingers through his signature messy hair.

When he plays the vampire hearthrob Edward Cullen, his face is painted white like a chalk, but today he is kissed by the sun with rosy cheeks.

- I've never understood why people think that vampires are sexy, Robert laughs.
- Pale white skin, what's so sexy about that? he asks and smiles. He knows very well that millions of teenagers all over the world disagrees with him.
- The first time I looked in the mirror after I'd got my make-up done for Twilight, I thought "Oh my God, what do I look like?!".
