UPDATE:
From NME:
Robert Pattinson has revealed a new single in collaboration with the Nottingham band tindersticks. You can hear the track ‘Willow’ below, which comes from the soundtrack of High Life, a new movie starring the former Twilight and Harry Potter actor.
The smooth, orchestral track is set to be released as a standalone 7″ single for this year’s Record Store Day on April 13. The full soundtrack, overseen by tindersticks’ Stuart A. Staples, is out on April 5.
Staples describes ‘Willow’ as “a seed of a song shared by myself and [tindersticks bassist] Dan McKinna that eventually grew to be the conclusion of High Life with Robert Pattinson, the lead actor, singing the song in character to his daughter Willow, a theme that runs through the film.”

ROBsessed Awards Results: Concert You Wish You Were There With Robert Pattinson in 2013
WINNER: Coachella!!!
It wasn't a clear win at first but the Coachella music festival edged out Bobby Long and the Justin Timberlake/Jay Z concert with 29% of the vote! Rob is a big music lover and what better place for him to take in many great artists than a music festival. Oh if only we could literally put our faces there. ;)

Rob has always been vocal about his love for music and his tastes are deliciously eclectic. If we only know of 13 concerts Rob attended in 2013, imagine the other goodies we don't know! All those lucky concert goers in the same place as Rob listening to some good tunes. If you could have joined Rob, boppin' your head and shakin' your hips, what concert would you have loooooved to be there??

Unsolved Rob Mysteries are so fun and make you crazy! We've already got one Rob mystery flitting around today (DIORDIORDIOR) and now I'm adding another.
Jeremy Harris tweeted early this morning: Making music at @ Rpatz house. Nbd.
Let the games begin!
He has since deleted his tweet and the video he posted of Rob playing piano and guitar with Isabella Summers, keyboardist from Florence and the Machine. Click HERE if you want to see a short video taken by Harris of Summers playing on the piano in the pic. It's the only one that lives on....for now. I feel like MusicalRob is trying to break free and how can we forget this surprising gem? A lone FATM fan claims to have snagged the video when it was tweeted but she's keeping a lid on it. She just posted a cap of the video she got. She's since locked her account because you can't dangle a steak in front of a lion, right? It's going to get really bad really fast.
Our fandom DID however snag the cap of Rob tickling the ivories with Summers. Quick on the draw! You need to be since the delete button was exercised frequently as this all went down.
LOVE IT. Play that funky music, white boy. And do we NOT know this man's backside? It's been around the block a few times in his films. He's got "a few too extra vertebrae". ;)
While examining the photo, I noticed the guitar on top of the piano. It's rather unique and made me squee. These two pictures are from when I got a chance to hear Sam Bradley play last year during a time he was hanging with Rob. When we asked him about the unique guitar, he smiled coyly and said it was a friend's. ;) The body is made entirely of some type of metal and it's got the coolest twang sound to it when played.
The video may never surface but I think it might....these things don't stay quiet forever and like I said earlier, I think MusicalRob is trying to break free!
The Ellen Show interview is actually a great throwback and while it's off topic, I'm posting it after the cut. This was the interview Rob also talked about saving the snails - a reference we were all discussing when we found out Rob also saves alligators.

Oh MAN. Do you want to be envious of people's ears? Today is your lucky day.
Adam Shankman (So You Think You Can Dance judge), choreographer as well as director (Rock of Ages) and producer (produced the Oscars in 2010), tweeted the following:
Brilliant and stupefying is right! His ears got lucky last night, Sept. 15th, presumably in Los Angeles (Shankman was at the Power of Youth awards show in Hollywood earlier that day).
Lucky bastard. Ok....going back to being green and imagine Rob strumming away on a guitar while the strings of a cello croon along with him. Click HERE to hear Dermot on the cello. You guys remember Rob has a cello right? Click HERE for that refresher. Or watch the vid below if you can see MTV
And since MTV isn't user friendly for the entire world, let's turn to youtube and listen to our last recording of Rob playing guitar and singing so we have more aids for our running imaginations. I DIE.
Thank you bff!

I too wonder why he wasn't on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack. Rob probably killed that. No way the powers that be wouldn't have loved it. Oh Rob...sing for us again.

*NEW* Photo From The "Vanity Fair" Photoshoot - Robert Pattinson Sings The Blues
I'm so greedy, I'm not happy with a new Robert Pattinson Pic from the "Vanity Fair" photoshoot I want video! I want to HEAR him sing.I need to hear him sing. I know, I'm so demanding!
Patience is a virtue, right? But you better not be teasing me with this pic and then say there's no video!
Sing us a song, piano man—let’s start with “Happy Birthday.” New Orleans’s Preservation Hall—where Annie Leibovitz shot young Robert Pattinson, shown tickling the ol’ 88 with the world-famous Preservation Hall band—celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Situated in the French Quarter, the music venue is one of the country’s most hallowed: it was founded in 1961 for the purpose of preserving New Orleans–style jazz, and indigenous American music. On his first-ever visit to the Quarter, Pattinson jammed with the house band and thoroughly held his own—his celebrity perhaps subsumed by that of the musicians, whose legendary status awed everyone on set. “When we first started, none of us knew that Robert really does play piano,” says Ben Jaffe, the tuba player (center, above), the band’s director, and the son of the venue’s founders. “But when he got up there, he started ticking out these notes, and it was obvious he wasn’t just tinkling—he really knew how to play.” Though the musicians were expecting the actor to just pose, Pattinson gamely jammed along with their tunes. After finishing a song, he leaned over to Jaffe “and said, ‘That’s the first time I’ve played with a group of guys like that,’” Jaffe recalls. Not a shabby gig—especially with Jaffe’s homemade red beans and rice waiting as reward.
On the landmark birthday, Jaffe says he and the rest of the band are humbled: “It’s really momentous for us to reach this moment in our history, considering everything New Orleans has been through in the last five years,” he says. “It’s really a testament to the strength of the people of this city.” Preservation Hall endured a several-month hiatus post-Katrina and reopened in May 2006, structure miraculously intact. We say miraculously, because the hall’s charm is that it looks as though it might collapse at any moment—it’s one big happy jalopy of a 350-year-old structure, with all the glorious paint-peel-y, rusty-hinged patina of a Clementine Hunter painting. It strains at the seams with ambiance. And we hope, lack of air conditioning and all, that it never changes.
