365 Days of Robert Pattinson: December 17th ~ Fave Rob Song
What can we say about Rob's music? We love it, and live in hope that we'll hear more of it in the future. Until then though, thank God there IS actually some of his music out there which leads us onto today's topic "Fave Rob Song". I've been looking forward to this one.
We've gone for some classic oldies today but let us know what your favourites are by leaving the links in the comments below.
And now grab a cuppa, relax and have a listen to what we picked out for you ;)
Tink "i’m going with Let Me Sign. it was the song that first made me notice
Rob’s voice. when i watched Twilight, i didn’t know Rob had contributed
music let alone could sing or play instruments. Never Think is beautiful
but it’s played low in the film. i was paying attention to the scene
more than listening to the background music. it didn’t resonate upon my
first viewing of Twilight. however, Let Me Sign came on and the intent
of the scene/montage was for you to actually hear the music and hear
that gorgeously aching voice. when he sang, “i will wrap you in my
arms…” i just about died. i will never forget it. it was a jolt to the
heart and so beautiful. i said to myself, “i need to look up that song
when I’m done watching this movie and see who’s singing.” imagine my
surprise. that was the start of my love for Rob’s music and helped
launch me down a road to Robsession. "
Kate
"SUCH a difficult choice but I’m going with this classic!"
Kat
"Whoah… this one was difficult… aside from his karaoke duet with Katy
Perry, this has always been a favourite. Tingles down your spine good…"

365 Days of Robert Pattinson: September 21st ~ Pic of Rob With A Guitar

Kat
"Oldie but a goodie… "
Tink
"siiiiiiiiigh. Rob’s always talking about music in interviews but he recently said he hopes to publish an album by 30. i’ll believe when i hear but it would be such a dream come true. his voice….his guitar…LAWD. it would be the final nail in our Robsessed coffins! Click HERE if you never heard Rob sing the song he’s performing in this pic and gif. you. will. melt. and then you’ll groan, “noooooooo” when you hear him tell the organizers 3 TIMES that he wants to play another song! do they let him? NO. they didn’t hear him and end the show. *cries* at least we have the 6+ minutes epicness."
Kate
"This is a slight cheat as it’s a gif and not a pic but this was such a cute interview and Rob was adorable (as always) with the guitar ;-)"
Here’s the vid in case you want a refresher of it.

Flashback: Addicted and devoted to Robert Pattinson and his music
We've been talking about MusicalRob on the blog recently from his jam session with Dermot to SaxophonistRob. In the comments, I catch when people say, "oh I've never seen this, never heard this, never known this!" and I saw that in those posts. We know Rob keeps his musical side pretty protected. The last recording we were privy to was made over two years ago and shared publicly well over a year after that (It's All On You). If you're new to Robsession, you might not know all that is out there with Rob's musical stamp on it.
Since MusicalRob is so beloved, doesn't take much for us to do a post like this :) Let's review all the gems we have from one talented man.
4 years ago, music Rob had self recorded leaked out and gave fans an awesome sampling of his soulful, raw vocal quality. Stray Dog and I'll Be Your Lover Too are my favorites from that series.

Rob also used to frequent open mics and there are a couple videos that captured either his performance of the vocals. The first song that reached my heart and clenched it was I Was Broken. LAWD the emotion in his voice. I heard it first in May 2009, when I became Robsessed. Rob's talent was everywhere in my searches for who this guy playing Edward Cullen was.
I Was Broken - written by Rob's friend Marcus Foster
This is the full version, vocal recording only, also worth a listen. Love the tone he starts the song with.
I adore this live version of Stray Dog. It also kills me because had I been Robsessed during the fall of 08 and not spring of 09, I might have caught this performance in LA.
Stray Dog
These recordings are two more Marcus Foster songs performed live by Rob. Not the best recording but you can hear Rob setting up his songs and singing to his heart's content.
In Your Head
I Don't Mind
More MusicalRob and official recordings after the cut!
Last Monday was EPIC. I've had Rob singing (and growling) in my head since then.
Let's relive it...
Does it break your heart like mine that Rob states 3 TIMES that he wanted to play another song at the end? Why do the event organizers hate us and Rob? ;) *sigh* Hopefully, they can convince him to play at another show of theirs and this time let baby have a set!
Now, I'm assuming this isn't new to most of you but we get new ROBsessors everyday and I wanted to make a music post. Rob's musical talents come from the heart and rip you raw. Sit back and let him speak to your soul.
I know he was purposely singing below his ability in this song but its so fun to me and a great moment for Art ;)
Where it all started...
We all love Rob and his guitar but oh how we love his piano playing too.
How amazing is it that we'll have him tickling the ivories again in Breaking Dawn? Sad we have to wait until the end of 2012 to hear it though. :( Maybe he'll surprise us by being on the BD1 soundtrack. I'm just putting that out there.
Click the widget to donate to the movement and receive the download compilation with Rob's song. I need to find that spare $10,000 lying around so I can hang with these guys. For now, I think I can only swing $100. ;)
MERCY!!!!
MAKE MORE MUSIC ROB!!!! (sorry for the caps...I'm THAT excited.)
Rob recording the song early 2010 in London, just before Bel Ami filming.
As for more video, our friend, suziekew, received info from the Sofarsounds guys that they are working to secure the full video when their new website is up.
UPDATE: Marina said it MUST be done. I agree with her ;)
He's killing me softly with his song. *sigh* Click image for HQ wallpaper
Robert Pattinson departed Sydney, Australia, officially ending his whirlwind Water for Elephants promo tour. Hopefully he can take it easy, have an exceptional birthday, and prepare for his next role as Eric Packer in Cosmopolis. :)
Thanks for a stellar WFE experience, Rob! See you at the MTVMAs? ;) Click HERE to vote for Rob!
Robert Pattinson didn't seem to mind the St. Thomas heat yesterday when he boarded a private jet wearing a sweatshirt that apparently featured a middle-finger design. Robert was fresh off a weekend in the Caribbean where he waited to see how Water For Elephants fared at the box office. His film came in third place after he and leading lady Reese Witherspoon tirelessly promoted it over the last few weeks. He and his Breaking Dawn costar, Kristen Stewart, were apparently together over the last few days, doing reshoots for the final installments of the Twilight series. She was even spotted in a green bikini with shirtless Rob for more beach scenes! It was a working vacation for both Kristen and Rob, who recently spent a fun few days together in NYC, kissing following the premiere of his just-released movie.
The money from donations will be used towards purchases for the blog. Not a single dime will go into our pockets :) Help us bring you better content/pictures by donating. Every little bit helps!
