School HAS started back up again. I love going back to ROBsession 101! Class is now in session and this lesson is brought to you by one of our readers.

Under the post about Rob playing music with Dermot Mulroney, our reader, TeamEdward_Bella4ever, wondered about an old interview of Rob's where he mentioned playing a trumpet. (With our old URL returning, you won't see her comment now, unless you look on disqus, because it was made under our temp web address that's now gone.)

I thought she was talking about this classic interview with his funny trumpet line:


TEB4ever told me nope. There was another interview where he said he played the trumpet and was serious. She gave me enough clues to go on a hunt and if you ever want to excite me (or drive me crazy), give me a Rob challenge. Send me on a Rob scavenger hunt.

Here were her clues:

I wasn't talking about that interview, he was being funny in that one, this was another interview, during filming of the prom scene and they were asking him about his music and he talked about playing the piano,guitar and some trumpet. He also talked about he was suppose to be recording a record with one of his friends.He was actually being serious in this interview.

So I made my checklist:

• Prom scene interview = 2008
• Asked about music
• Piano, guitar and some trumpet are mentioned
• Recording music with a friend
• Serious

VOILA! Just after 4:00, Rob mentions possibly doing an album with a friend (which we know didn't happen, at least for public consumption), an album he can't explain at all but it's quite good and he likes it and playing the guitar, piano, singing, trumpet, and SAXOPHONE. LAWD.



Info from 2008 interviews STILL creep up on me and surprise me since I was "born" in 2009. Why didn't we have more talk about Rob playing the sax? Can we get a follow up question on this 4 years later? Think he remembers? LOL

We posted this wallpaper about a month ago and the image used was called into question. Manip? On twitter, a couple people also asked me when this was taken. Recent?



That was all I needed to start a new class of ROBsession 101. We're in dry season and we can settle into some Rob archives.

First posted on Nov. 30, 2008, Rob was out and about the evening of Nov. 29, 2008. He grabbed a bite at In N Out (popular fast food chain on the west coast).



Rob with In N Out makes me the love. Anyone from the west coast that's Robsessed can relate to this. His love for our long time chain warms my double double heart.



Even though this was from 2008, it's clear when in Los Angeles, Rob's In N Out love still goes strong. Starting at :41, Rob and Kristen spread the love:



After his fast food run, he stopped off at Arco to grab a pack of beer. Party time with Pattinson! He'd be the best person every to party with. That's because he'd be the best person ever to do anything. Its just..."Rob would be the best to/at _____________ (fill in the blank)" and we're done.





Even though change is inevitable and often times, a healthy option, it's nice to see that some things stay the same with Rob.

And again in the Eclipse commentary, Kristen suspects the Dutch beer is Rob's companion. Classic Rob in a hilarious exchange beginning at 2:18:

What else did Rob do earlier that day? We first posted the pictures Nov. 30, 2008. Shopping along Melrose, Rob was a vision. A total snow leopard because we know these kinds of images will likely never happen again...at least not for a long long time.

This is one of my favorite pictures of him...he's just walking across the street....looking like that...smiling like that. A vision.

I also adored this photo of Rob. It felt like pop art to me. What's he pondering? He's so incognito here (except that he really wasn't) but I like the street feel to it.

After that, I went a little belligerent. I brought out evidence that any self-respecting Robsessor knows like the back of their hand. I proved my case. However, these crazed, ramblings from badfangirls got picked up by obvious lurkers, Hollywood Life. Great. Always one for sound journalism, they called into question our guy's glorious back. That means the average bear not in our fandom bubble will now question His Holy Hotness.



Luckily, Gossip Cop, made sure to debunk the horrid lies. This is the truth:

“Robert Pattinson ‘Breaking Dawn’ Sex Scene — Did He Use a Body Double?” asks HollywoodLife, which rarely knows the answers.

While the bad blog acknowledges Pattinson’s good looks, the site writes that he’s “not so much [known] for being the most muscular of guys.”

HollywoodLife further says it was a “shock to see the very muscular, and very ripped, back he is showing off in the Breaking Dawn trailer. In fact, it is so shocking that it begs the question — did Rob use a body double for his Breaking Dawn sex scene?”

Then the blog suggests, “Maybe Taylor Lautner stepped in for him?”

Maybe some real reporters should step in for HollywoodLife.

Gossip Cop looked into the story and was told by a production source that it was 100 percent Pattinson in the sex scene with Kristen Stewart.

Additionally, a rep for Summit tells us, “A body double was NOT used.”

While we appreciate GC for ticketing HL for their blasphemy, we handle things differently here.

CLASS IS NOW IN SESSION!

I'm not a pleased professor Robfessor. The class is out of hand. Badfangirls like JAG* are always sitting in the back, shooting spitballs and frustrating goodfangirls.

Rob, please remove your clothing.

Now, not for one second did I or goodfangirls doubt Rob's back. There are numerous signals. Arms, hands...



But we aren't here for that class. Let's talk mole and overall physique. Our textbooks for today's lesson will be Remember Me and New Moon.

If you look at present day Rob who kindly removed his clothing for us and grasped a headboard, you'll see there's a prominent mole under the scapula on the right side. Open your Remember Me text:



Ahhh...the hills and valleys of Remember Me Rob. The mole is there and this scene was definitely not called into question. Let's have another look.

There's the mole and this can also transition us into overall physique. Do you recall we barely saw him during the Breaking Dawn shoot? He was incognito for months. After Brazil, there was only a random pic from filming, a dark video, and a couple fan pics. This one in particular sticks out:



What's he doing? Working out. We know Rob to be tall and lanky but he builds his lean muscles up when necessary. Kate, please distribute our additional handout for today's lesson. Focus on the upper body if you can:

Trapezius, deltoid, and latissimus are the muscular areas being attacked by badfangirls. Open your New Moon text.

Rob actually has a broad back. He is lean but he is muscular. His traps are easily seen in this behind the scene footage and on page 492 in the RM text:

There is more evidence in the Breaking Dawn textbook but that is not available for class distribution yet. You might have seen an early copy that highlights the traps and delts.

I know technically Rob is just a guy standing in front of a camera trying to produce quality work but why act like Rob is really real? He's not my friend, he's not my boyfriend, he's not my husband and he never will be. So why act like he's just an average guy? I like to keep him on the pedestal because there's enough realness in life. You try to knock him off, you will always get my bitchface. ;)
