German magazine 'Neon' gave a taster of a new interview with Rob that's featured in their magazine which will be available in a few days time.
Looks like it'll be an interesting one. Looking forward to reading the full thing, which of course we'll pop up for you as soon as it's available ;)

Any guesses as to what he tried out "on the sly"? Maybe something in the music field? A spot of Directing? Or maybe he wrote a Screenplay? The possibilities are endless with Rob.

Robert Pattinson (29) doesn’t want to be a Hollywood-actor only anymore – as he told Neon Magazine: “I’d like to do something aside from acting, in a field that I’ll have better control over. Last year I’ve tried various things on the sly, but I´m not going to talk about it, otherwise it will not work out!”

The glamorous Hollywood-scene is not for him, he tells Neon: “Of course there are these events where a bunch of dressed up girls hangs out. But you’d have to be a complete idiot to hook up with one of them – imagine someone sleeping with you simply because you´re famous? Women wanting to sell their time with a celebrity and running with the story to the next tabloid.”

Robert Pattinson will be in cinemas next with the movie “Life” September 24th.
Neon Magazine will be on stands September 7th.

Preview the "Cosmopolis" Sound Track HERE

The soundtrack for Cosmopolis reunites composer Howard Shore and the band METRIC for another cinematic collaboration. While writing the score for David Cronenberg’s film adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel Cosmopolis, Shore conceived of a particular live sound to achieve his vision and invited METRIC to perform the score and co-write three songs. The music was recorded in November 2011 at the band’s own Giant Studios in Toronto, produced by Howard Shore and METRIC guitarist Jimmy Shaw, and mixed by John O’Mahony at Liberty Studios in Toronto and Electric Lady Studios in NYC. The result is an atmospheric, urban soundscape of analog synths and layered guitars featuring the hypnotic vocals of METRIC lead singer Emily Haines. The Cosmopolis soundtrack also features “Mecca” by Somali Singer/Rapper K’NAAN with lyrics by the artist and Don DeLillo.

Egads...tough to see...here's what I could read:

• It opens with a description of him that fits in our posts: "smoldering, perfect, tousled, finger-lickin'"
• Elle kicks up dust and says regarding Kristen Stewart: "they may have slept together a few times but potentially really are just good friends"
• Rob took a break from filming Breaking Dawn to talk with Elle and "perked up" when discussing his post-Twilight career.
• They mention the ladies in Bel Ami and Reese from WFE
  
• Q: How great a novel is Bel Ami? Rob: Amazing. One of my favorites. The script was really good too. Duroy has kind of changed a bit. He's so cynical in the book, bu now he's so convinced that he knows everything and that he's been wronged, that he ends up being very earnest. He realizes that the whole world he lives in is based on a lie; it angers him so much that he basically want to burn the whole thing down...and in trying to enjoy everything he becomes what he hates most: a pompous little shit.
• Q: Was it fun playing a ladies man instead of celibate? Rob: Completely. I thought it was funny as well - Twilight having quite a bit of a female audience - to play a guy who basically screws women out of money. I like the fact that you never hear of a movie where the bad guy ?? every single person in the book and then wins.
• Q: So you relished playing a sleazy journalist? Rob: I like the section where he gets a job as a gossip writer and in a completely banal way just makes stuff up - uses the same story and changes the names. I think that still is very, very true.
• Q: It was once reported that you were pregnant. Rob: Yeah a couple years ago. That was true though.
• Q: Any other odd encounters with the media recently? Rob: A bunch of paparazzi were following me, and I thought the best way to deal with it was to stop my car in the middle of the street and say, "I'm not leaving and I'm not going to speak to you anymore." They got all pissed off because they can't just keep taking the same picture. We were in Venice by the boardwalk and they kept trying to get all these drug dealers to come up to the car. I was just like, "Oh my God this is insane."
• Q: Have you ever fantasizes about doing something to destroy the Twilight image of you? Rob: You know, when the whole thing dries up and there's hardly any paparazzi around - I don't know, in 15 years or something - I like the idea of just one paparazzo coming out and trying to get a picture and I just beat the shit out of him. I mean - out of nowhere - when my picture's not even worth...and I've spent all my money, so you can't sue me!
• Q: Is your idea of hell to end up at age 45 posing with Twilighters at a comic book convention? Rob: I mean, that would be totally fine - if I didn't have any responsibilities, if it didn't affect my career anymore. I did a couple of these after Harry Potter, when I was totally unemployed. You can have so much fun. There are so many weirdos there.

• Q: Have you had many near-death experiences? Rob: Yes, loads. I am the worst driver in the world. Every time I get in a car, I call up my parents and say goodbye.
• Q: What percentage of evil do you think you are? Rob: I mean, I used to think it was more-around 40, I think I was overestimating. I think its more like 3 which is very disappointing.
• Q: Here's a line from Maupassant "The essence of life is the smile of round female bottoms under the shadow of cosmic boredom." Any thoughts? Rob: That's an absolutely true quote. Round female bottoms are very much a miracle. (Tink: This was my favorite comment.)
  
• Q: What would have to happen to make tonight unforgettable? Anything you want. Rob: I just got a little dog, so I'm having a very girly night here with my pup, a rescue mutt. it's going to sound like I'm making this up.

It's a good thing Bel Ami is coming out April 22nd. These questions really help the promotion of that movie. High five, Elle!

I'm led to believe they can redeem themselves because the last line in the picture is another question so there has to be a page two. Guess we'll have to wait for it to hit stands. It's a bizarre info though, non? It was like they were trying to bait Rob into saying, "Twilight sucks balls! I hate my life and want to kill anything in my path!" You can tell Rob's humor with the responses...or did he really have a baby and I missed that? ;)

"I do not know why but all the interviews with Robert Pattinson, or almost all at least start with a description of how he is dressed. My interview, however, is not yet written: it will be ready in Italy at the release of his new movie after “Twilight” , I mean ” Water for Elephants”; probably in May. But when I know that it will take me just to do something different, I will not say anything about how he was dressed.

But I also know that in the case of Pattinson, even the smallest detail can not be wasted, because millions of women worldwide, from 9 years old, would sacrifice more than just broken a nail just to get their hands on the smallest news about him. Here, then, a detailed account of Pattinson look. Meanwhile, the location, a second floor suite at the Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles. Then the time: are the 3 and a half in the afternoon and although it is not his first interview of the day, he seems to be just pulled out of bed.

Finally he arrives: He pours himself a cup of coffee, “I need to wake up”, he apologizes. And, indeed, he has the sleepy face, but his eyes are incredibly clear. Then he sits down and puts his feet near the coffee table in front of the chair. He wears a pair of black jeans, quite narrow at the bottom that move back on bended knees exposing a piece of skin between the short socks (those are also black) and the edge of his trousers. He has white skin, dark hairs and sparse.(Kate: You're kidding! His legs are white and he has hair on them!{insert sarcasm font here}) On his feet he's wearing a pair of Dr. Martens, ça va sans dire, black. And to complete the look a T-shirt and a jacket that I would say are vintage. His hair is shaved on the neck, with a little part visible at front in a bunch, his skin is clear and smooth. And then his lips: I swear, the reddest I’ve ever seen on a man..."

Entertainment Weekly sat down with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner for a feature interview running in this week’s magazine to discuss the world they inhabit within the Twilight universe — both on screen and off. The three young stars opened up about coping under the glare of intense media spotlight, how they rely on one another to pull through, what they think of the upcoming final movie, Breaking Dawn, what lies ahead once the franchise wraps, and much more. In this preview, the three stars talk about gearing up for the final chapter of the saga that has changed each of their lives forever.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: You guys are about to start shooting the two Breaking Dawn movies back to back. You signed on to this franchise before Breaking Dawn was written. When you read it, were you thinking, How is this going to be turned into a movie?
KRISTEN STEWART: Yeah, definitely. What is Renesmee going to look like? Is it going to be this little teeth-baby running around? It’s going to be weird.
ROBERT PATTINSON: [Laughs] “Little teeth-baby.”
STEWART: Yeah, but I think it’s going to be cool. One of the main objectives of the series is to get Bella to a point where she’s mature enough to make such a hefty decision, and she goes through a lot. In the fourth one, she is going to become a wife. She is going to become a mom. She is going to become an adult and a vampire. To do it so young, it needs to be believable. So I’m really excited about playing that.

Some people read Breaking Dawn as very pro-life and Mormon because Bella decides to have her baby even though it’s endangering her life. Did any of that bother you when you read the book?
STEWART: No, because it made sense. Not wanting to give up the baby is about her holding onto that last thing that she would have to give up if she was not human anymore. Right after she and Edward sleep with each other for the first time, she says, “Oh, f***, I might want to be human for a little bit longer.” The baby is just an even more intense version of that.
PATTINSON: I think people make up all these Mormon references just so they can publish Twilight articles in respectable publications like the New York Times. Even Stephenie [Meyer, author of the Twilight novels] said it doesn’t mean any of that. It is based on a dream.
The Breaking Dawn movies are the last in the series. How do you feel about all of this coming to a conclusion soon?
STEWART: In terms of shooting them, they’re almost done. We’re going to be done by March.
TAYLOR LAUTNER: It will be so weird, the last day of filming that last movie.
STEWART: It will be sad, too. It’s been one of the most crazy, indulgent experiences as an actor, to be able to follow a character for this long.
LAUTNER: I think stopping will be very weird.
STEWART: It will just feel like a chapter has been closed.
LAUTNER: A big chapter.
STEWART: I’m going to be like, “But wait, there’s this scene…”
