So When is Robert Pattinson Tying The Knot?

PEOPLE recently interviewed Robert Pattinson at the 10th Annual GO Campaign Gala in L.A. and asked about his wedding plans. His answer was:

Robert Pattinson on His Future Wedding and Current Mindset: ‘I Still Feel Like I’m 22

Despite being on the road to marriage, Robert Pattinson says he still feels like a young man when it comes to preparing for what’s ahead.

“I still feel like I’m 22 … maybe even 14,” the 30-year-old exclusively told PEOPLE at the 10th Annual GO Campaign Gala in L.A. on Saturday when asked about his engagement and current mindset.

However, when asked directly about his wedding, the actor feigned confusion, “Planning what now?”

The actor proposed to singer FKA twigs early last year but they have since postponed their nuptials.

While wedding plans might not be on their minds, the couple have both previously expressed their interest in having children.

Pattinson told German fashion magazine Jolie in August 2015 that he is “definitely” on the brink of becoming a father, while twigs discussed motherhood in an interview with Britain’s The Sunday Times.

Similar to Pattinson, twigs has said her age has been playing a role in her life.

“I honestly didn’t give a s— about any of this stuff until about two years ago. I don’t know whether it’s my age, I’m going to be 28 in January, but all of a sudden I started thinking that if I had a daughter, it is gonna be terrifying.”

Since putting wedding plans on hold, Pattinson has developed his own clothing line and filmed The Lost City of Z while twigs has been focusing on her music career.

Pattinson also has continued his involvement with the GO Campaign, which helps give opportunities to underprivileged children.

“It’s amazing,” says Pattinson, who began volunteering five years ago. “It’s still completely unreal to me. I did this fund-raising thing, and ended up [helping] build a school in Cambodia. I remember thinking, ‘Wow!’ because I had never seen such a direct correlation between doing a charitable act and the actual brick and mortar reality of it.”

FKA twigs talks briefly about her relationship with Rob and addresses the engagement rumors somewhat in an excerpt from her newest interview with Complex.

Our favorite guy also makes a quick physical appearance. I felt like telling the words, "Hey wait, words! Linger on that guy answering the door for a sec, please." But the words said, "Nothing to see here folks. Keep it movin." ;)

Excerpt:

Even though twigs is now done with EP3, the catalyst that started it, the press scrutiny, isn’t done with her. The week before our second interview, T-Pain—of all people—told the world that twigs and her boyfriend, actor Robert Pattinson, are newly engaged. He tried to cover it up, saying it was an April Fool’s Day joke. “I’d rather not talk about it,” she responds, when I ask about the news being broken in this context. Her response isn’t angry, or impatient, but genuinely sad. Has she confronted the situation? “Umm,” she says before looking away, then staring back at me. “It’s fine, I’m a pretty chill person, do you know what I mean?” she continues, before finishing, “If you can’t touch it, it’s not real.” She repeats the vague statement, “If you can’t touch it, it’s not real," which may be her way of saying that she maintains a private, decidedly inaccessible part of her life. (Curiously enough, she sings that line as a question on “Figure 8,” the first track she completed for EP3.)

The paparazzi have followed twigs and Pattinson, who happens to answer the door when I arrive for our second interview, since September. “It is pretty horrible,” twigs says of the aforementioned racist social media attacks, often attributed to his obsessive fans. “But ultimately, I’m in an amazing relationship. So it doesn’t matter.” And in London, that was the extent to which she acknowledged the relationship.

Folks have been talking and who have they been talking about???

I can relate. I talk about him everyday. ;) First up....

Brandon Cronenberg (son to David) was interviewed by Complex.com to discuss his film Antiviral and the interviewer brought up Robert Pattinson and the fame and fanaticism that surrounds him:

Last year, your sister Caitlyn was rumored to be dating Robert Pattinson—reports came out saying they were spotted together at a party for Pattinson's film directed by your dad, Cosmopolis. That must have brought a lot of Antiviral's themes especially close to home for you.

B. Cronenberg: [Laughs.] That was totally strange. And then reading how she was going to his apartment at these late hours of the night, and how she was doing all of this crazy stuff with him and breaking Kristen's [Stewart] heart…it was bizarre to witness that happening and then also witnessing it not happening while being around my sister.

There were photoshopped magazine covers of them together even though the pictures were taken years apart from each other. [Laughs.] There were people who thought it was true, and they were harassing my sister about it. I was just thinking, "Why?"

For people who love a guy like Robert Pattinson, they don't want to hear anything that could ruin whatever image they have of him, and how he lives in some larger-than-their-life way. If they find out that he's just sitting at home and watching TV right now, and not doing something glamorous, it'd crush them.

B. Cronenberg: Yeah, but in that case they didn't want it to be true because they have this idea of an amazing romance between him and Kristen Stewart. They want it to mirror their fictional romance, and the fact that my sister was causing problems and playing with his dog really outraged them. [Laughs.] And it was based on nothing.

And then when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart broke up for real, the comments sections of so many Tumblr pages were filled with truly disturbing messages about how devastated these fans were about it, as if they're parents just got divorced. It got really intense.

B. Cronenberg: It's crazy. That's the thing: It's actually insanity at some point. If you respect someone on a really high level and they happen to be famous, but your respect comes from appreciating their work, that's totally fine. There's a certain point where I think it's a legitimate form of insanity, and it's that point where you think you have a relationship with this person who's never met you. That's delusional, and it was interesting to explore that idea in how the fans in Antiviral will go so far as being injected with their favorite celebrity's diseases in order to be closer to them in some way.

Next, Max Irons mentioned Rob briefly to Inquirer.net. I like how he's on top of Rob's films:

On being touted as the next Robert Pattinson or being compared to the “Twilight” actor, Max remarked, “There are two sides to every coin. He’s lost a lot of personal freedom. His life is under a microscope. But then again, he’s working on a great movie called ‘The Rover’ at the moment. He has worked with David Cronenberg (‘Cosmopolis’). He’s going to work with him again (‘Maps to the Stars’). That’s all you want as an actor—to keep working with good directors, scripts and actors. The success of ‘Twilight’ has afforded him that privilege. We should all be so lucky.”

Our final mention was during This Is 40 promo and Leslie Mann mentioned Rob in a Q&A with Next Movie:

Do you get a say in who acts with you in Judd’s movies? Are you gonna team up with someone from "Twilight" as a love interest?

L. Mann: Yeah, I have this great idea for me and R. Patz! We're making out and... (laughing). No, everything is discussed with everyone who’s involved, but no, I’m not going to be having any love scenes with Robert Pattinson. Even though I think he’s really cute. That would be disgusting.

Uh-huh Leslie. Sure. Disgusting. Judd was probably reading this interview too, wasn't he? ;)

What Would It Take For YOU to Not Fancy Robert Pattinson?

Heat Magazine has a picture of a VERY grizzly Robert Pattinson in their October 9th Issue. They are repeating our sentiments that it would take more than stinky hair for us to stop fancying him. (Don't you just love the word "fancying"?)

He has given us short hair, dirty hair, old clothes, VERY old clothes... I can't remember anything else since none of it really matters to us ROBsessed. As cheesy as it is we love him "just the way he is".

And for the second time today I'll say it, "Marry Me ROB!"

"Extra's" Lauren Sanchez caught up with "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who told us the interesting way he one day plans to pop the question... "With a prenup right next to you," he joked.

Pattinson, whose "Twilight" character Edward Cullen will be taking a trip down the aisle with Bella, also said he wouldn't get down on one knee to propose.

"Something about kneeling down, because I had to kneel down so much in the 'Twilight' movies and it always looks really awkward. I've actually got quite long thighs and it doesn't work," RPattz said (Kate: I'm sure we could make it work Rob :-})

Since the release of the first "Twilight" film, Rob still hasn't come "to grips" with his fame. He told "Extra" that when going out in public he "basically runs down alleyways and hides in dumpsters and stuff."
The actor is good about staying out of the public eye, saying, "If you dont ask for it, for any kind of craziness you don't get it... It's all about expectations. If you're walking down Rodeo Drive people will probably recognize you." At the age of 24, Pattinson says that he's already feeling old. "I feel like I'm getting old. I used to go out every night when I was doing jobs, now I can't. I want to go to bed at 9:30 every night. It's terrible," he told "Extra." (Kate: LOL now you know how I feel Rob!)
