Robert Pattinson Talks About Being Executive Producer on "Remember Me" With E Online
Robert Pattinson's "Remember Me" Reviewed By Variety
Spoiler Warning!
Fate sticks its foot out to trip all the characters in all the worst ways in "Remember Me," a grave romantic drama with grandiose thematic intentions. Framed in a portentous manner with a calamitous ending that will only come as a surprise to those who haven't been paying attention, the modestly scaled film delivers some moving and affecting moments amid a preponderance of scenes of frequently annoying people behaving badly. It is precisely the young female fans of star Robert Pattinson who will react most wrenchingly to this doomed romance, which should enjoy a short but sweet B.O. life.
Pattinson is in heavy James Dean mode here as a reckless, unwashed, chain-smoking, intensely confused pretty boy named Tyler who, as Dean did in "East of Eden" and "Rebel Without a Cause," has major father issues. Turning his back, at least for the moment, on his family's wealth -- dad Charles (Pierce Brosnan) is a mighty Wall Street lawyer, while classy mom Diane (Lena Olin) has remarried and is raising precocious 11-year-old artist Caroline (Ruby Jerins) -- Tyler rooms with crude low-life Aidan (Tate Ellington) while occasionally attending NYU classes between drinking bouts.

'Remember Me' Review From NY Breaking News: Robert Pattinson Is Here To Stay !
Well we already knew this but it's great to read good reviews!
Teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson's latest movie 'Remember Me' is a romantic drama. Those who loved him in the Twilight series will not know what to expect in a very different genre of movie of his. Well, good news is that Robert Pattinson can act and act really well. You girl fans out there, your Twilight Hunk is truly something else. Fans went crazy seeing Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart at the 'Remember Me' premiere and they will not be disappointed with their Twilight star in his latest movie.Twilight or no Twilight, he is here to stay as an actor.
The film is about a 22 year old deep, alone and brooding kind of guy seemingly at war with the whole world. The film also stars Pierce Brosnan and Emilie de Ravin and is directed by Allen Coulter based on a script by Will Fetters. The movie is a great package as a whole with great performances. The story is captivating as well as touching. Clint Morris has rightly said of R-Patz that this movie will turn him from a movie star to an actor.
Rob Pattinson plays Tyler in the movie who is though alone and kind of brooding but a good human being at heart. The romance between the characters of Pattinson and Emile de Ravin has been portrayed so real that it is really touching. Same can be said about the relationship between Robert Pattinson and on-screen father Pierce Brosnan which has again been brilliantly depicted. Bond star Brosnan plays with perfection, somewhat emotionally restrained father.
The interest is kept alive till the end with a very different, kind of shocking and unexpected ending of the movie. All I will say without disclosing the ending is that this not your typical romance where in the end every thing gets all good. My verdict: Definite watch.

Much Music Gets Serious about Robert Pattinson and Remember Me
Robert Pattinson gets serious in “Remember Me”
Can’t wait until March 12th to see Robert Pattinson’s new film? Fret not, Twihards, because we’ve got the scoop. We had a chance to attend a preview screening of Remember Me yesterday and can safely say that it will please existing Pattinson fans while – dare we say it – also introduce him to a whole new audience.
This is actually the second film Pattinson has released since the Twilight phenomenon made him one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. The actor starred as artist Salvador Dali in the limited release, Little Ashes, last year. Remember Me, tells the story of two people who meet through an unusual twist of fate and develop a relationship that may be threatened by some deep-rooted secrets.
So what can fans expect from the actor in Remember Me? There’s R-Patz in a T-shirt and jeans, R-Patz getting wet in the shower and R-Patz – gasp! – shirtless in bed. He also gets hot and heavy with co-star (and rumoured summer fling) Emilie De Ravin, but don’t get the wrong idea; the movie definitely showcases Pattinson’s acting chops, rather than his good looks and charm. His character, Tyler, is an impulsive and rebellious college student struggling to deal with a death in the family and to re-start his life. De Ravin (best known as Claire on Lost), plays the young stranger who tries to help him cope, oblivious to the bonds that connect the two. It’s a mature and dramatic departure for both actors, which may surprise some of their younger fans.
This isn’t a typical love story either, so don’t expect a Dear John-like weeper. And be warned – the ending is a stunner. We won’t spoil it for you here, but suffice to say, it will have you gasping in disbelief.
Still not convinced? Here’s another incentive for you to catch the new flick: the trailer for Eclipse will premiere just before the film. He may be trying to establish himself as more than just a one-hit wonder, but it seems like Pattinson can’t shake the Twilight thing too far away just yet.

*New* "Remember Me" Still From EW
From EW.com :
Summit Entertainment has announced that the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will debut in front of the studio’s Robert Pattinson film Remember Me in theaters March 12. Sure, on one hand it could be perceived as a cheap way to lure bodies into the seats. On the other, if you’d pay money just to see the Eclipse trailer, chances are you were already going to see Remember Me. Right? Poll!
If you want to vote in the poll you can do so here. I don't need to tell you what I voted, do I??

Robert Pattinson's "Remember Me" Is A Notable Film of 2010
Remember Me
Opens: March 12th 2010
Cast: Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper, Lena Olin
Director: Allen Coulter
Summary: A rebellious young man in New York City has a strained relationship with his father ever since tragedy separated their family. A twist of fate bring him in contact with a young woman whose spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him.
Analysis: Girl #1: "OMG did you hear? Edward, I mean Robert Pattinson, has a new movie"
Girl #2: "Seriously? God he's so hot. You mean it's not the next Twilight?"
Girl #1: "Uh-uh, its like a love story"
Girl #2: "It's not that Spanish gay sh*t again, that stuff was gross"
Girl #1: "Nah, it's him and that Aussie girl from 'Lost' and they totally make out, she's such a lucky cow"
Girl #2: "Bitch, doesn't she know he's mine. I'm so there, text me the details" (Kate: Hey there little girl get in the bloody queue, thanks!)
We're still very much in the eye of the storm when it comes to Robert Pattinson. The scruffy, unassuming 23-year-old Brit didn't really ask for the media storm and fangirl craze surrounding him, but he has it anyway. The one good thing about it is that he can use it to push non-"Twilight" films of his that would otherwise go unnoticed at the box-office.
Whether he has the goods to become a strong actor however remains in question as his performances in the likes of "Little Ashes" and the "Twilight" films haven't met with acclaim. The former however was a far too ambitious role beyond his depth as yet, the latter is a character with an admittedly limited range of playability. 'Remember' at last gives us a vehicle that seems suitable for him and could crossover into "A Walk to Remember" or "The Notebook" style sleeper hit. (Kate: Oh God how am I gonna make it through this movie)
He's also got some strong support on hand with a screenplay by "Rachel Getting Married" scribe Jenny Lumet, and direction from TV directing great Allen Coulter ("Hollywoodland," "Rome," "The Sopranos"). Should Lumet's script keep the genuine and raw emotional power of 'Rachel', combined with the impressive supporting cast on offer, we should have good drama. Will Pattinson fit comfortably into that or be the weak link in the chain along the lines of Zac Efron in "Me and Orson Welles" or Ben Affleck in "The Sum of All Fears"?
