The Hollywood Awards, airing tonight, are giving out awards for these following catagories and People said Rob is one of the honourees!
We're not sure if that was a mistake and Rob is just presenting or if
they really did reveal he's getting an award. How exciting would that be??
If this goes down our bet is either on breakout for The Rover or the Spotlight Award. This might be why Rob is attending now. Either way, we can't wait to see thesweet acorn.
Also Hollywood Awards are giving people the chance to get Rob's Digital Autograph tweeted back to them. To be in with a chance to get one just tweet them at @hollywoodawards use hashtag: #HFAsAutographs and make sure to tag Robert in your tweet. More details about that HERE

Other attendees listed on the invite for the event include "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm, director Steven Spielberg, 'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson, Vogue editrix Anna Wintour, "The Princess Bride" star Cary Elwes, and billionaire media mogul Sumner Redstone.
Just because he's invited doesn't necessarily mean he will attend but are keeping everything crossed that he will be in attendance.
And you know if he does we will have any pics etc here on the blog for you ;-)
Maybe so........ his name is on this guest list from Canal+ (I also spy David Cronenberg's name too)

Robert Pattinson "Maps To The Stars" & "Hold On To Me" MOVIE NEWS ROUND-UP
We wanted to keep you up to date with what's been going on so here's a little round up of news!
First off EOne (who as you know are the distributors in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia/NZ) for "Maps To The Stars" are already getting excited about it, even though it's not even in production yet. Well we can't blame them really, we're pretty excited too.
Anyway they took to their twitter today with this......
Can it just be 2014 already?
We decided to run a little poll over on the "Maps To The Stars" Film Fansite to find out where people thought "Maps To The Stars" might premiere
Here's the poll (in case you want to take part)
Next up, as you know Rob was in New York for a couple of days, well SO was Carey Mulligan (who as you know just happens to be Rob's co-star in "Hold on to Me") Lainey Gossip reckons she know why.......
“Carey’s next movie is called Hold On To Me with Robert Pattinson.
Pattinson just arrived back in LA yesterday after a few days in New York
for meetings on the project.”
As we said it's "gossip" so take with a pitch of salt but it's the kind of gossip that I would actually be really happy about if it were true!
And FINALLY you may remember a while back Guy Pearce teased that Rob would attend the "Iron Man 3" Premiere in LA. We're still not sure if he was just teasing or not.
If you want a refresher of the interview click on the screencap below
And if you want to find out if Rob does actually make an appearance on the "Iron Man" Red Carpet you can watch the Red Carpet LivestreamHERE
Don't forget you can keep up with all the latest "Hold On To Me" NewsHERE and the "Maps To The Stars" News HERE

There's no specific word on Rob as you can tell from Summit's release but....come on. Who's really betting against that? This is like...the beginning of the end of an era *sniffles* but lets not get weepy yet. Let's just pray that Rob is thirsty when he arrives at the panel.
Robert Pattinson's Cosmopolis on Cannes Film Festival Wish List
EXCITE! I love the Cannes buzz for Cosmopolis. Indiewire included the film in its wish list titled, The Indiewire Cannes Wish List: 30 Films We Hope Make The Festival's 2012 Lineup:
Cannes
is a sort of annual cinematic Olympics, with almost every country vying
for spots in the official selection. But with the official 2012 Cannes
Film Festival announcement a little over a month away, Indiewire is
offering its annual Cannes wish list.
Indiewire's annual
Cannes wish list isn't so much about officially predicting the lineup,
but rather is a roster of films we hope are finished in time, good
enough and invited to the Croisette (though we do muse about what's more
likely than others).
Among the candidates are celebrated
filmmakers like Woody Allen, Paul Thomas Anderson, Olivier Assayas,
Jacques Audiard, David Cronenberg, Xavier Dolan, Matteo Garrone, Wong
Kar-Wai, Ken Loach, Terrence Malick, Cristian Mungiu, Francois Ozon and
Walter Salles.
Movies that don't get a spot in Cannes (and there
will definitely be a few) will immediately become hot topics for a fall
fest berth in Venice and/or Toronto. Either way, let the guessing games
begin:
....
"Cosmopolis," directed by David Cronenberg
David Cronenberg has been working on a far more restrained note in
recent years, exploring the realm of interpersonal relationships without
the subversive edge of his earlier films. "Cosmopolis" finds him in
more ambitious terrain, adapting Don DeLillo's novel about a hotshot
young Wall Street hustler in the near future facing the possibility that
he might be the target of an assassination. A dark Cronenberg thriller
is reason enough to get excited, but the project takes on a particularly
strong amount of curiosity because the leading man role goes to Robert
Pattinson (acting opposite Juliette Binoche and Paul Giamatti), who may
have finally discovered a director willing to push him in bold new
directions. [Eric Kohn]
Robert Pattinson has been offered one of the lead roles in the new King Arthur retelling PENDRAGON, filling in one of the spots left open after Eric Bana and Michael Fassbender dropped out of the production. Project is a reimagining of the founding of Camelot by King Arthur, with Pattinson up for the role of the fabled king. Pattinson’s potential casting projects a different light on the project, signaling a possible change in tone for the production than when Bana and Fassbender were considered for the leads.
Sylvain White is directing from a script by Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy, with Michael Connolly producing.
Also movieinsider.com has Rob listed for this since March 2010. It does say "rumoured" after Rob's name so for now take a pinch out of this..............
If and when there's anymore news on this we will be sure to let you know!
We can but hope that he will attend this years convention too.
As it's falling on what will probably be the Press Junket weekend for the release of "Breaking Dawn" the chances of Rob being at the convention very good indeed.
We will keep you posted of any more news and let you know straight away when the attendees are officially announced (in other words ROB)
SO it was announced today that the Breaking Dawn Soundtrack will be released on 8th November 2011 and they asked who we'd like to see on it.
Now do we HAVE to answer that question, or is it pretty obvious?
Of course we do know that there's a possibility that some the twilight cast may be showing off their musicial talents on the soundtrack because Mr Condon teased us with that in an interview at Comic-Con sooooooooo could it be Robert Pattinson?
I guess we'll just have to wait until the list of artists is revealed to see if Robert Pattinson is on there and until then keep all your crossables crossed.
So "Breaking Dawn" Footage is going to be shown this Saturday at the Empire Big Screen. Wonder if it will be NEW footage or the same as the footage at Comic-Con?
At Empire Movie Con 1 we got clips from Twilight. At Empire Movie Con 2 we got clips from New Moon. At Empire Movie Con 3 we got ... NOTHING. WE HAD NO TWILIGHT SAGA CLIPS. How did we cope?? Fear not though, as Empire Big Screen have just confirmed that there will be exclusive Breaking Dawn footage this weekend. HOORAY!
I'm not ashamed to admit that I have a soft spot for the Twilight films. With the exception of New Moon, I loved the other two. Breaking Dawn also means that Michael Sheen is back. Michael Sheen as a vampire. ALL I NEED.
The Breaking Dawn footage will be screened during the EOne showcase on Saturday morning and is for diamond ticket holders only. Diamond day tickets are still available to buy!
If you've chosen to live your life having seen none of the Twilight films, why don't you allow yourself a moment of madness and see the first three at Big Screen. Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse will be shown on Sunday.
Still no official word on Robert Pattinson attending Comic-Con but it's looking likely. Taylor Lautner has been confirmed and Mark Malkin had this to say:
"While there's been no official word of who will be on the panel, I'm told Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and director Bill Condon are set to be there."
The money from donations will be used towards purchases for the blog. Not a single dime will go into our pockets :) Help us bring you better content/pictures by donating. Every little bit helps!
