Encounters with Robert Pattinson are dangerous affairs. Frantic frenzies and frozen horrors!
I love when non-fandom folks even get discombobulated by Rob's presence. We had the recent encounter from a Defamer writer that was hilarious. Rob gets people so crazed, men even feel compelled to take explicit sneak photos on his phone. WTF lol
These 2 encounters are great reads and will make you smile. Rob causes frenzies and double takes like no other.

By all accounts, getting the likes of 29-year-old Robert Pattinson to attend your MoMA premiere is a coup! It trumps every other event scheduled on the same evening, at the same time.

Enter a slew of non-credentialed photogs, who had otherwise committed to the swank UWS Lincoln Center gala, and a race down to the Celeste Bartos theater was called for in the hopes of a chance of catching the Brit’s entrance into the festival favorite Bright Lights, Big City-eque film-noir premiere.
Seriously, this is some dark Trainspotting drug shit…
Lots of heavy breathing for the quick power walk crew!
We heard that all would’ve gone well cept for a small glitch in many missing Pattinson’s arrival – who scurried behind them – for busying themselves with Sevigny who stopped for the outside press line.
Pattinson is exceptionally gifted at shying away from photogs and when in-front of the cameras spends his time fidgeting as if he were experiencing boils.
Can’t figure out why really…
Inside, all the nervous excitement over R-Pats descent into the MoMA space left one Vogue magazine stringer whimpering about how all of the PR had disassembled and failed to bring the highlight of the night to his section for interviews.
“This is insane,” he mused. “Where are the publicists?” he asked, in a high-pitched voice.
To his defense, we doubt that Pattinson – nor his handler, who busied herself telling folks “that’s enough!” – were made aware that Vogue had sent an overly coiffed figure – seriously, his eyebrows were better tweaked than MoMA pieces – from the marketing dept, to play stringer on the arrivals line in the hopes of a quote.

And then it was my turn to pause. It was Edward Cullen, a.k.a. Robert Pattinson. Before we parted, he could see I knew who he was. And that I was mortified. Simultaneously, we looked down at my yoga pants. They had a big patch of chocolate ice cream. #Oops
Leave it to me to ask a hot guy if I had egg, I mean ice cream, all over my face. I mean my pants. #BringingSexyBack #LivingTheDream At least if I’m going to embarrass myself, it was with an A-lister!

DiorRob finally debuted on American television! Last night, the 30 second Dior Homme spot aired on NBC's special, 50 Years of Sports Illustrated around 9:30pm. Obviously Rob fans were very excited to see DiorRob stateside on their television sets. While the footage isn't new to us, it was new to millions of other people who aren't in Rob's fandom. Check out a few tweets in the side bar that we retweeted. DiorRob is winning them over!
Make sure you "follow your heart" down to your local Macy's and support Rob! TwilightGirlPortland snapped some GREAT pics of the Valentine's Day display at her Macy's.
Time to buy some of that Eau for Men for YOUR men if you haven't already. GO ROB GO!!!!

Cosmopolis continued into its third day of Filming here in Toronto, with one of my favourite Diners in Little Portugal providing the backdrop. The Production Crew, after taking measures to Paparazzi-proof their Set yesterday on Mercer St., took similar precautions again today in keeping Megastar Robert Pattinson's Trailer far from Filming. Fans waiting the entire day by the front of the Restaurant failed to see a glimpse even of him all day with him being ushered in and out through the back of the establishment.
After locating Pattinson's Trailer, I found a few devout and savvy Fans who had been waiting patiently the entire day in the area. Unfortunately they had failed to catch his attention as he went in and out of his Trailer. One Fan after growing tired of waiting, finally approached Pattinson's Handler Dean, asking if there was any remote possibility of obtaining an Autograph even. She however had been told by him, "Probably not - there's too many people around", shielding his attention-shy Client. In total there were six Fans in-waiting.
Around 8:00 PM a glimmer of hope appeared as Pattinson entered his Trailer again for one final wardrobe change for the day - a change back into his Everyday Wear: a Stussy T-shirt, his Long Beach 49ers Baseball Cap (Tink: Go Beach!) and a pair of Jeans. He officially had wrapped for the day after a long, grueling day in the Heatwave which has hit the City. After flagging him over, we were shocked to see Pattinson actually respond to us, coming over to personalize Photos and Magazines for us one-by-one in his best possible Penmanship.
Robsmacked, I asked "Is it at all possible to get a Group Photo?", to which Dean had interjected, "We don't have time...". Pattinson then overrode his Handler's objection, saying "Yes, I'll do a Group Photo!" , garnering an ecstatic response from us Fans. Some kind Onlookers in the neighbourhood offered to take our Photo before I extended my hand for a shake and he went off to greet a few other Fans. Those Ladies were told by Dean, "Stand back or he's not going to do it!" and willingly they obliged in their best behaviour.
