Rob talking to Vulture about jungle spiders is here to DESTROY your life:

“There was this weird thing that happened in the hotel,” Pattinson told Vulture. “It flooded everyday at 3 p.m., because we went in the rainy season. No one realized it was the rainy season, and somehow all these massive spiders would float into our room. At night there would be like an inch of water in the room, it was kind of terrifying. I made a little hammock on top of my bed just hanging there, in terror.”

Meanwhile, Grey started filming the bugs. “There was one that was called a Brazilian wandering spider,” Pattinson said. “James, who is normally very neurotic about anything wildlife related, saw this spider, and it is incredibly beautiful, and he was like, 'We need to get the B camera, get on this, get on this. Somebody get it to move.’ And he was prodding this spider, which is like six-inches wide, with a stick, trying to get it to do something interesting. And the Colombian crew was like, ‘That is the most potent spider in the world.’ There were a lot of situations like that.”

Pattinson said things also got ropey — British for sketchy — while he was filming in the jungle. “There were moments where me and Charlie were going through with machetes and we were in totally virgin jungle humans never went through,” Pattinson said. “And they were like, ‘Yeah, just do a beautiful shot and hack through it with machetes.’ Me and Charlie were just like, ‘Uh, this feels like really ropey to do this.’”

Gold star for Vulture explaining "ropey". Now can we have video of that? We do have video of other great Rob tales. E! snagged Rob on the red carpet and got him to talk about his squirrel face/hip beard and starving into a skinny jeans.

The final interview is for the Lincoln Center. At 1:13 Rob pops up to talk about his character but I was more into how he says "advert". Rob and that delightful accent.

Spunk Ransom snagged the video from E! that chats about Rob's bromance with Zac (click HERE for our earlier post from over the weekend). They also gave a few more details about last night at Pinz and hitting up Bootsy Bellows afterwards. There's video of them leaving but you can't see anything unless you have X-ray vision. Lucky Superman.

I assumed none of us thought Rob would be at the Oscars this year because of The Rover filming but just in case you were wondering, E!'s Marc Malkin checked into it as well. Excerpt from eOnline:

Robert Pattinson has a new look! The Twilight star has cut off his signature mop top for his role in The Rover opposite Guy Pearce. Pattinson was snapped on the dusty set of the flick in a remote area of South Australia wearing a dirty black T-shirt and a pair of khakis. When he's not working, R.Pattz has been spotted biking around town or hanging at a local pub. But it's definitely more work than play Down Under. While Pattinson fans have been hopeful that they'd see their fave star in Los Angeles for the Oscars, I'm told filming will keep him away from this year's festivities.

We must wait until next year to see if AwardShowRob makes another appearance. At least he gave us the Golden Globes before leaving for Australia.

Robert Pattinson is so charming, all he needs to do is show up these days to get his fans' seal of approval.But being super-nice obviously helps!"Wasn't expecting him to be so sweet," Tara Oberti of Adelaide happily told E! News of her encounter last week with the Twilight star at the airport in the South Australian capital, where she and some pals had gathered to await Pattinson's arrival. He's in town to shoot The Rover with Guy Pearce.
"He was just, like, 'Thank you guys so much for coming and waiting for me, it means a lot,'" Oberti recalled. "Then his manager or whatever he was thanked us girls, too, and then we were walking off. I [told R.Pattz], 'Enjoy your time in Adelaide' and he thanked me again."Swoon!But the fun didn't end there: Oberti said that she and her mates also saw Pattinson later that night at a local pub—and he totally gave them a grin of recognition!
"It was a small, grungy type of pub," she described the place, "dark inside, loud and busy, but real chilled out with acoustic guitars and all that." (No photos from the pub encounter, alas, but from what we've heard Rob say about making music like a normal bloke in his garage, it sounds like his kind of bar, don't you think?)Taylah Cailes, another one of lucky ladies who shared a camera click with R.Pattz at the airport (both she and Oberti shared their spoils on Twitter), told E! News that her group was waiting near a "secret door" at the airport from which they've also seen Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Zac Efron emerge from at times.
"He was walking with his manager and one security guard," Cailes recalled. "He looked like a completely normal person. He had a guitar with him as well. I was the first to spot him walk out and I froze and was sort of speechless and pointing at him. He saw me and he had the cutest smirk on his face!"
"We asked nicely if we could get a picture with him," she said. "He said he was in a rush and asked if it was okay if we got a group photo and made sure that we knew each other, and we said, 'Yes,' took our photo and then he said, 'Thank you,' to us, smiling, and got in his car."Can someone say gentleman?Sounds like Pattinson just can't help but make devoted friends everywhere he goes.

Rob revealed to eOnline his inspiration for that snazzy, Gucci green suit!

Robert Pattinson might feel a little relieved that The Twilight Saga has come to an end. He's said as much himself! But that doesn't mean he won't miss it.
"In a year, I think I'll definitely miss it," R.Pattz admitted on the black carpet at the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere held at Nokia Theatre. "It's such a strange experience. That's why I waited to see the movie until tonight. It's such a different thing seeing it with the fans instead of on a DVD or whatever."
Fans that have been with the saga since the very beginning. And are still just as dedicated five years later, if the throngs of screaming fans that have been camping out for days are any indication.
"It was incredibly overwhelming, the first one. I mean, it felt like you were getting hit by a truck," Rob recalled of his first Twilight premiere. "This one, you kind of know what the deal is. You know nothing really weird is going to happen."
And Twi-hards, don't start your grieving just yet—because Edward Cullen himself may not hang up his fangs forever.
"Yeah! Yeah definitely," Rob told us when asked if he would ever play a vampire on the big screen again. "If it was a good script."
As for the flashy green suit he rocked tonight?
 R.Pattz laughed, "I had a dream about an emerald green houndstooth suit, and I got Gucci to make it."

We posted some tweets and a picture of Rob from his night out at the On The Road after party but EOnline had some more details:

Kristen Stewart walked the red carpet at the AFI screening of her film On The Road solo (and stunned in a gorgeous Balenciaga number). But the after party was a different story.

That's because the Twilight actress was joined by none other than boyfriend Robert Pattinson. For the record, Rob didn't walk the carpet and wasn't spotted inside the theater for the movie.

The Audi-sponsored fete was held at the Roosevelt Hotel across the street from Grauman's Chinese Theater (where the screening took place) and the couple spent the evening on the Garden Terrace.

So was the night filled with PDA for the newly reunited duo? Not quite.

Early in the night, K.Stew, who traded her red carpet look for a black leather jacket and black tank top, sat by a fire with costar Amy Adams. The two were deep in conversation while Rob, who wore a black jacket and jeans, sat nearby drinking and talking with some other people.

And when Amy left (after giving Kristen a big hug and making her way over to Rob to give him a big hug as well), the couple continued to make their rounds separately. R.Pattz drank a Stella and smoked an electronic cigarette while Kristen moved between groups of people, chatting.

The two seemed in great spirits the whole night. Kristen was bouncing around during conversation while Rob had his arm around a male pal as he threw his head back laughing.

Finally, a bit after midnight, Kristen was dancing and Rob made his way back to her. They spoke energetically and were playful, with Rob jokingly showing some dance moves of his own.

As for PDA, she patted his chest a few times as they talked and rubbed his head at one point. He whispered in her ear and put his arm around her for a moment.

Just before 1 a.m, Rob looked like he tried to rally some people to leave and a few minutes later Kristen followed after him.

Hehe....I got a kick out of imagining Rob's showing off moves. I'd give anything to see Rob get down on a dance floor. He's probably got some hidden moves even though Rob just told us how good a dancer he thinks he is...

The sole male who earned himself a superlative on this list, R.Pattz is going to be just fine, people. Heck, he very well could be one of the only true movie stars of our generation. Not only does he take smaller, more controversial roles to keep people interested, but he's just so dang charming that we can't imagine the public will ever get sick of him. Plus, now that he's landing big endorsement deals like Dior, we think it's only the beginning.

It's hard to tell how much salt we need lately with entertainment sites we regularly posted before the you know but this excerpt from eOnline is positive news if true:

As for Robert Pattinson? He's working away. A source told E! News the 26-year-old Brit attended a business meeting Tuesday afternoon in Beverly Hills. He's also on board for Cosmopolis promotion, beginning with an appearance on The Daily Show Monday. He's also scheduled to do Good Morning America Wednesday morning.

Mission: Blacklist should be on the horizon so I wonder if it was a meeting for that film or possibly a new one. Love hearing about WorkingManRob.

"I don't think it's going to happen," a source involved in the Oscar preproduction tell us.

WTF?! It's not like it's a totally crazy notion: Both Rob and Kristen have attended the swanky event before. Rob (looking scruffy sexy even on the chicest of evenings) attended in 2009 and presented a tribute to romance with Amanda Seyfried . And K.Stew the next year—donning a stunning navy Monique Lhullier gown—when she presented a tribute to horror with wolfy costar Taylor Lautner. And if they were ever to attend (ya know, short of being nominated at some unknown point in the future), it'd make sense to do it now: Rob's lusty flick Bel Ami hits theaters a few days after the Academy Awards and Kristen has Snow White and the Huntsman hitting theaters in the summer. Of course, there's also Breaking Dawn Part 2.

But still, our Academy know-all says, "It's not likely." 

*sigh* Ok. We move on. I'll still watch because I enjoy the Oscars and I'll savor the Bel Ami red carpet coming up in a couple of hours. What shall we hope for next....

Yes, he's presented at the Oscars already, but his new flick, Bel Ami, is set for release just a few days after Hollywood's biggest night of the year. A rep for the Twilight star didn't comment on his possible plans to attend.
