Winner: Edward Cullen!

Separated by only 200 votes, this race was a tight one! Edward Cullen's 42% to Jacob Jankowski's 35%. Rob as Rob was not far behind and could have made it a 3-way tie with a couple hundred votes taken from Edward.

Next year will certainly be more challenging with Rob as Georges Duroy, Eric Packer, and his final go as Edward Cullen. Plus, there's always the MTV Rob Awards kicking off the summer. ;)

Bill Condon Talks "Breaking Dawn" & Scenes From Edwards Early Life

Bill Condon spoke to Fandango about "Breaking Dawn" and spoke about additional scenes from Edward's early life.

Fandango: We get so much of Bella's and Jacob's view in the last book, but what specific parts do we get to see more of Edward's point of view?
Condon: There's something that we put in there that's referred to in an earlier book. We actually get to see Edward in his early life as a vampire and hear his thoughts about that. There's a glimpse of him in Twilight describing how he got turned, how he got changed by Carlisle, but this is more extensive. I do think we get more inside Edward and he changes a lot, too. The wedding has an effect on him. There's an aspect of self-loathing to him about what he did when he was a vampire [earlier] that he releases through Bella's love. I think that's a fun thing to watch.

Happy Birthday Edward Cullen

Today is a special day. It's "someone's" birthday and we can't let it go unmarked.

Yes it's Edward Cullen's birthday and while we normally don't celebrate fictional characters birthday's, this is a drought so we'll make an exception.

I gathered together some of my favourite Edward videos and you know what that means?

I love Twilight and getting more insight into Stephenie Meyer's Twilight brain is exciting. I remember after I read the series, I poured over her website, eating up all the additional information (the pics, the playlists, the FAQs, the outtakes, MIDNIGHT SUN *tear*). I loved it all and now we can have more. :)

With the Twilight Official Illustrated Guide available this week, Mandy, from Mandy's Mind, got a peek at an early copy. Have a look at how Edward was imagined.

Pretty good if you ask me...in fact, I think the movie version is even better. That actor sure is handsome. ;)

We're Told Not To Worry About Edwards Missing Wrist Cuff

According to the twitter of Sérgio Sá Leitão(seen in blue next to Bill Condon at yesterday’s press conference), the director of Rio Filme, the organization that is working with Summit in Brazil:

“A ilha, a praia e a casa vão ficar lindas em Amanhecer. E não se preocupem com a ausência do bracelete… Tudo de acordo com o planejado.Depende da montagem. Mas se for isso… Está ótimo. Igual ao livro. @karinnasoares: Verdade q só teremos 5min de Brasil no filme Amanhecer?

“The island, the beach, and the house will all be beautiful for Breaking Dawn. Don’t worry about the missing bracelet (we assume he means wrist cuff). Everything is going according to plan. Even if Brazil is only in the movie for five minutes after they edit all the footage together, it’s going to be a spectacular five minutes.” (Kate: It had SO better be more than 5 mins or I'll be looking for somebodies ass to kick, just saying)

So they are aware of the missing wrist cuff!

Another discussion arose surrounding Edward not wearing a wedding ring. Folks immediately went back to the novel where: surprise, surprise there is NO MENTION of Edward having a wedding ring (or the ring part of the ceremony at all for that matter). Another excellent point brought up on Twifans was that prior to WWII it was uncommon for men to wear wedding rings, maybe Edward wouldn’t want one since he was born in 1901?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Some folks on set during Twilight's prom scene got to snag a picture of the sinfully, beautiful man.

Here's what they had to say about Rob:

Before shooting began Robert Pattinson came into the kitchen where we were watching and asked if anyone knew how to tie his tie for him, sadley none of us did, but now I wish I would have given it a try. At least I could have looked into his golden eyes :-)

Ooooo...leave it untied, Rob...we likes :))
