Walmart have the information on their site that The Rover DVD & Blu-Ray are now available for Pre-ordering and have the release date for the US of 23rd September on their website.
No info yet on what extras will be on it but we'll update as soon as there's any info on this.

I feel like we've been waiting forever for this. Cosmopolis will be On Demand in just short of three weeks, December 18th and then a reminder that it will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on January 1st, 2013 - what a way to start the year - Robert Pattinson in your living room!

Digital Spy got a chance to talk to David Cronenberg about Cosmopolis to coincide with the UK DVD release:
In terms of tapping into the cultural zeitgeist, the casting of Robert Pattinson works extremely well. Was his current fame and adulation a key factor in choosing him to play Eric?
"Well not really, I mean the so-called 'baggage' a certain actor brings with him or her is something that is completely irrelevant once you're on the film set. As a director you can't worry about that - it's too complex, it's too shifting.
"Eric in the movie is not famous, he is like the London Whale - and I don't mean the baby whale that went up the Thames. I mean the investment guy called the London Whale because of the immensity of his trades. He's anonymous, not a celebrity, because as soon as people started tracking his moves, his power to make these trades was gone.
"Eric is like that, and the reason he has this one guy tracking him is because it's an obsessive guy who is anti-capitalist in the movie. He can be in a restaurant and not besieged by fans who are tracking him on the internet, he has a bodyguard because he's worried about normal threats that anybody with a limo might have. His situation is totally different from Rob's."

The countdown is on until we can bring Eric Packer home and it's not that long! Robert Pattinson's Cosmopolis will be available on DVD January 1st, 2013.
Robert Pattinson took a big step away from his heartthrob Twilight image by starring in David Cronenberg's gritty theatrical adaptation of Cosmopolis, a film you will be able to own in your home early next year.
Online retailer Amazon.com has begun taking orders for Cosmopolis on Blu-ray and DVD with a release date of January 1, 2013. New Year's Day falls on a Tuesday, the traditional release date for new home video titles, so please don't think the Cosmopolis release date is a typo.
Cosmopolis saw a very limited domestic theatrical release from Entertainment One and did not reach $1 million in ticket sales as a result. It was given more of a chance overseas where the film earned $5.3 million. Its worldwide ticket sales are just over $6 million. Pattinson's Twilight Saga fame should help drive home video sales despite the film's dark subject matter.
Joining Robert Pattinson in Cosmopolis are Juliette Binoche, Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Paul Giamatti, and Kevin Durand.

Play.com have on their website (and have been emailing customers) to say that there is a change in the release date for "Cosmopolis" (in the UK) and now it won't be released till 12th November 2012.
Amazon.co.uk have also updated their site with the Nov 12th date.
So Nov 12th it is then ;-(

It sounds like there will also be a behind-the-scenes featurette. No mention of deleted scenes so this could be the same special features as the UK version.

There is no US pre-order info available on Amazon just yet but we're keeping watch. Hopefully you guys are still supporting the film on VOD but Magnolia Pictures has steadily been adding theaters to their June 8th theatrical release date. I finally see theaters that are more local for me. :))
