Rob joined the Safdie brothers at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC to talk about Good Time and be his awesome self. The film was part of MoMA's The Contenders 2017 event:
Every year there are films that resonate far beyond a theatrical release—if they manage to find their way to a commercial screen at all—or film festival appearance. Their significance can be attributed to a variety of factors, from structure to subject matter to language, but these films are united in their lasting impact on the cinematic art form. For this annual series, the Department of Film combs through major studio releases and the top film festivals in the world, selecting influential, innovative films made in the past 12 months that we believe will stand the test of time. Whether bound for awards glory or destined to become a cult classic, each of these films is a contender for lasting historical significance, and any true cinephile will want to catch them on the big screen.

The @MoMAFilm screening of @GoodTimeMov was *wild* tonight. When the film started, a woman on my row got and left up within two minutes, screaming “EXCUSE ME I’VE ALREADY SEEN THIS MOVIE” (she should have stayed because it got better on second view) pic.twitter.com/Gdq69cOXvt— Marshall Shaffer (@media_marshall) December 2, 2017
Anyways, thanks for bringing the dope 35mm print tonight @JOSH_BENNY. I’m still shaking from that final shot of Rob in the car. Sent chills up my spine tonight. pic.twitter.com/CVZU0lvKRK— Marshall Shaffer (@media_marshall) December 2, 2017
Pics from social mediaFrom @0PN's instagram story. @GoodTimeMov was wonderful, I'm glad I got to see it when it premiered in Portugal. Absolutely amazing performances from Robert Pattinson, The Safdie Brothers, and a wonderful OST from yours truly, Daniel Lopatin.— P A R A N O I D (@lux_aeterna17) December 2, 2017
