Ok ok call me crazy and nuts right now but I had a two sets of weird dreams last night. First I dreamed thhat marcus (the volturi) was walking down the street in my neighborhood wearing a dress. The next one was I dreamed about that horrible fight scene in breaking dawn part 2 and that I was in the middle of watching it on the sidelines during hiking it felt so real

A few days ago out of boredom i was checking my wi-fi randomly and I
have found out some news about the recent upcoming film "The Hobbit" and
so far and not that i am trying to be a tattletale or be a snitch its
been getting some mixed reception after its premiere criticizing it for
being too long and "Bloated" but the visuals are still fascinating. I'm
not so sure about you but i think all this news about this movie even
before its release has been a bot overrated. Even the media has been
comparing how the hobbit and breaking dawn part 2 were going to be big
in terms of making box office money. And that just annoys me, how media
keeps setting up competition between two different films on how much
money they make,. I mean i know they are both going to be huge. It is
expected because they are FAN FILMS. Movies for the FAN BASE. They will
be big no matter what happens even if they get mix reviews it does not
affect how they will perform at the box office. For me i think this is
more of a wait and see thing. I don't want to jump to assumptions just
because. but you know some of the earlier films of the year like Hunger
Games, The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises (Three really brilliant
films) have already proven to be box office champions not just because
of its more BIGGER fanbase in terms of demographics (LArgely the male
demographic) but mostly because of the seasons they were released in
both the spring and the summer. Even Snow White and the Huntsman
performed very decently both domestically and globally. For me the way i
see it these movies are not just big and well known because of the
numbers they make they are huge because of the designated fan base that
it appeals to and how many times people flock off and see them more than
once. Its not about the reviews or the money it is about the dedication
of the fanbase.
what do you think? Am i making sense or am i just talking out of my all wazoo? i just wanted to get it off my chest.

I agree with you Miranda...A pre-established fan base makes for box office success and longer runs at the cinema, as opposed to movies outta no where..which usually get neither unless backed by big studios or big name stars.

oh that was well said and like you said, no matter what The Hobbit will do very well money wise and will draw a huge fan base of the people that love the books and the movies of the Lord of The Rings Trilogly and they will also(again) love The Hobbit THG trilogly will do the same thing I know this is too early too tell but I am wondering IF the writer will do a 4th hunger game book here is an article that I read in my EW magazine:

Interesting that you mentioned that. I have been hearing all kinds of stoires about it for quite a while. And here's what i think realistically. At the moment i think right now people are just brainstorming/ This is just more of a wait and see process that wont happen for let's say another several years i think for now everything is just a "What if" possibility. Plans for spin offs should take some time to develop. Its not easy trying to come up with another story on the spot. It doesn't work like that. It only sounds likea desperate attempt bc people are just anxious to make money or keep the fanbase alive. Its not that i dont mind hearing another story i just think right now its probably not a good time, lets just give it a break for a little while. I never say goodbye to anything i always see a continuity with everything. There will always be more either bc its still in our memories or we go into the everlasting question of "What if". Nothing is going to stop studios for going full speed with another movie no matter what we think but i think the smart thing to do right now is just wait. Let someone else take the spotlight like "The Host" and other upcoming young adult films adapts and see how people will react from there. I intend to do that at some point. However if there are going to be wild ideas about spin offs even though this souuds hypocritical of me but its a fangirls instincts; anyway i think i would love to see some backstories like for example Carlisle Cullen or Jasper Whitlock Hale, or the Volturi or even out of a nutshell some of the covens since we don't know too much about them. it sould be interesting.

that was well said again I agree with everything you said let it take a break for now and besides that I have pretty much moved on and also JK Rowling has said that she has not ruled out another book of the HP world BUT it would not be Harry Potter it could be a spin off of say Harry and Ginnys kids as well as Ron and Hermoine's kids would'nt that be nice but for now she is writing books for adults too read have you seen The Perks Of Being A Wall Flower it is a BRILLIANT movie you would LOVE it and Emma Watson is in it and also the director of the movie also wrote the book and and he wrote the screenplay I HIGHLY recommend this movie when do you see it let me know what you think of it :)

Well sadly i have not seen the movie yet. Too much shit going on in my life and i never got the chance. Probably on dvd though. And like i said timing is evrything patience is a virtue. But then again this is why i love fanfiction bc they are continuities of stories that expand and explore different avenues of the authors original work. for instance my versions of fanfiction are not movie script material but I do have alot of fun with them. IT all starts with ideas that pop out of nowhere in my mind and i just write away but then i go back i look back again and reread how they come out and then i hear my own consciousness in my head telling me that "This scene needs editing" or "That line sounds stupid and awkward" "make it better" "Keep changing it till you get it right" and thats what i do. It's not an easy job but it gives me something to look forward to in life and use my imagination.
So let's see. And with midnight sun I don't think never is an option, especially bc people keep asking about it so how could that be ignored. i think its just a hiatus phase that needs more time to develop and improve. Besides Mr. S EdwardCullen at Breaking dawn.org plans to have a reread of the book some time next year. though youwould like to know
