Watching the yahoo interviews make me notice that every director has sung the praise of Kristen and they're right, nothing wrong with that. But I didn't hear the same praise for Rob on that level and in fact he made the world fell in love with him.

In truth, Rob is the ONLY reason I watched the movies. Not saying anything against the others yet for me anyone could have been the characters...Rob was/is the only Edward that drew me in.
I've never watched one of these before. That crowd of people is so massive! No wonder why Robert is always so flustered. It's like this mass of love energy being directed at you...it's got to be intimidating! They said at least 2200 fans and 60 news outlets...so that is 60 news trucks with at least one reporter and cameraman...it must be like a zoo there!

Wow, such eloquent thank you's from the cast and then Rob gets up there and, well, it's Rob. What can I say. I do believe he loves the short hair and I loved it along with the green suit. He was being pulled and pushed by his team so quickly, you could not get a good look at him so I will wait on you guys to get the gifs and pictures up. I know he has a couple more red carpets to do but to me this one was the biggie. What a ride we have had with this boy turned man and being a part of this epic story. So looking forward to see the "twist". I think this was the largest crowd yet for a LA premiere.

The first movie was all about Edward and the actor playing him. The world fell in love with him and the fans were watching the movie several times in theatre because they were so in love with Edward. Apart from that I think Rob did a very good job in acting Edward. Kristen's part was more challenging, as Bella she had to go through a lot and she did it very good, especially in BDI. It's just that I wonder why no one of the directors could ever admit that Rob carried the Saga to its high and once there he was joint by Kristen and Taylor.
Tbh, I've often felt that he remained a bit an outsider, because of him being so British in the beginning with his specific sense of humour, his self-deprecating. Kellan on the RC has admitted now that it was weird at times because they didn't know him enough yet. Co-workers joked about him and sometimes it was on the edge of mocking and he always allowed them to do. I know they love him but still... they don't seem to realize that it's due to him that some of them have a career now. If he had screwed up Edward, byebye sequels!
Oh, I was talking about the directors of the movie not recognising Rob's part in the franchise enough.

I understand Kristen getting a lot of attention: the movies are all about Bella and a female actress always gets comments on the fashion looks. I've no problem with that.
I guess it's me, I just have at times the impression that Rob is dismissed a bit, also because he's so modest but that's just why I respect him so much. During Cosmopolis promo he was more 'present', next to Cronenberg.
