That's what we've done but it changed so much..we had always felt safe... now we don't..I t's the reality that anytjhing could happen.. But best like you said..focus on the positive..and move on ..and pray for peace. <3

Sonja just so you know for future use do you mean the little - sign and the down facing arrow to the right of the comment? they just collapse that comment so you don't have to see it. It still exists which is why you see it when you refresh.

So let me get this straight...You can use a different search engine; You can change all your info and start a new profile...but is there any way to retrieve your old comments from cyber-space if you want to? Can they be erased on disqus profile permanently?
Then what's the point of it? Flags were more useful imo. And did you know we can like our own comment? (hope I don't have to resort to that)..lol
Erm...I don't know but there are probably people who do....bwen for one. I've not really been around it that long.
I suppose if you couldn't delete them - but I expect that you can - you can edit your profile and call it say Mickey Mouse and all the previous comments that you made will be by Mickey Mouse......you can then start a new profile LOL If all previous comments are erased I wonder if the linked comments also disappear? they do on fb. Why, do you want to remove all old comments?
The point, I suppose is if there are many many comments - like the 600+ ones - you can collapse the comments you have read and don't intend replying to so that when/if you go back to start to re-read new ones that have popped up you don't have to go over old ground. Maybe?

There is a delete option for the writer of the comment under the flag button.
But BB is right the original comment will still be seen by your followers and anyone that has subscribed to the email option for the thread. I email subscribe to every thread that way I don't have to log onto the blog so I see everyone's comments.

It replaces your name and avi with guest for some unknown reason.
The comment remains whether you like it or not.
