ladies, i need SERIOUS HELP. i cannot get audio on any youtube vids. i use google chrome and have tried all the fixes i've seen online and can't get it to work. have been unable to hear any rob vids in weeks. :'( has anyone else had this prob. pls, i know there must be some techies in this fandom that could help.

The speakers on my old laptop stopped working but could listen if I plugged in headphones !!
yes, it's not my computer. it's a known issue w/adobe flashplayer but all the fixes i find on adobe and chrome and other tech sites are not working. i got it to work briefly, last week, but then it went back. i've had this issue b4 and fixed it, but the fix isn't working this time. it has to be some setting i'm missing b/c i don't know enough about computers.
I will asked my son or my hubby, maybe they will know? i will be back. I have to help my son with HW first.
I wish I now more about computer to help her.
Me too I can usually fix stuff for myself eventually but it helps to have computer in front of you !!

I am no help, but I asked the guys what they thought it could be and they both said there has to be something off on your computer. Maybe the utube volume or the computer volume is off. They said they would have to see the computer. Oh well, sorry.

One of the best that didn't get include here was Jay Leno 2010 when he talked about the text his Dad sent him about kissing a lady's hand.

I have said before though that you only have to ask if there is something he says that you don't understand.....anybody here will help I'm sure - I certainly will. It must be so frustrating at times!
When you watch the three vids you can only conclude that his lack of mouth filter is still intact. How is it that some people can say what they want and everybody's laughing while the same words, said by others don't have that effect? It has to do with natural charm and authenticity, I assume. He has a way of saying his lines that is comedien worthy: the timing, the wording, the little "sketches" he adores to play and at the end his disarming laugh as to say:" Don't take offense, I'm just fooling around". I'd feel like the most boring person if I had to be the next, after Rob, to be interviewed.
Bwen refered to Emma Roberts' reaction on Jay Leno. She was there waiting to come up and steal the show and she heard the audience having big fun with him. There went her her moment of glory!! She couldn't handle it the way Kristen and Taylor always did: by accepting he was him and they were they.

Sometimes I think that I understood well until I see subtitles that shows that I was totally wrong LOL

I agree, we are lazy. We are lazy at home and abroad....we just assume everybody will speak English. My eldest asked me if they speak French and German on here as she would like to have a look to see what she remembers from school. What????? NO.. how would I ever speak to anybody, I told her. Was really taken aback at first. I nearly fell off my seat when I was watching the web chat and the comment about naked photos! I hit refresh about 3 times bacause I thought it was a wind up! Then I thought that was a fans comment but realised it was from him. I laughted solidly for about 10 minutes!
I can really cringe when the day after I notice all the mistakes I've written the evening before, being tired and the limited vocabulary that makes that I always use the same words. *sigh*, but it's an improvement in comparison with a few years back. That's why I never participate in the funny convo's here, you can't do the funny thing when you don't know the language well enough.

A couple questions and then I will give you some info anyway that may or may not help. lol And when I use caps it's just to make the steps I use a little more visible. I promise I am not yelling at you!:)
1) have you gotten the issue resolved yet?
2) Does the volume eventually turn on?
You have probably already tried this but:
1) CLEAR BROWSING HISTORY - why? my hypothesis: the browser tends to get overloaded when it tries to download everything on this site... the pics, gifs, advertisements, etc... in turn it messes with the audio. THIS ONE USUALLY WORKS.
2)MAKE SURE TO PAUSE THE VIDEO AND THEN WAIT FOR THE VIDEO TO LOAD THEN RESET (drag that little circle cursor on the video to the beginning if it has moved)- why? this doesn't always work but sometimes it just takes some time because it's trying to download the image content for the video.
3) YOU MAY HAVE TO CLOSE THE BROWSER ENTIRELY AND THEN REOPEN THE WINDOW.
I'm not being a smartass here ... but have you unplugged the earbuds from the computer? I only ask because I threw a bitchfit over the same thing and face palmed when I found out the earbuds were plugged in, therefore muting the sound completely. LMFAO :P
hey! thanks for responding! after much messing around w/it today, i finally got it to work. it's a known issue w/chrome and adobe but their "fixes" weren't fixing it. i think it may've been an issue w/my firewall, as well. i messed around w/it so much, i'm not quite sure what i did that fixed it. so, hopefully the fix sticks.

I watched BD2 again this evening and it really is just wonderful, it leaves me so satisfied and it feels so closed this story! Bill Condon really did a fantastic job!! Have definitely go and watch it once more, you just notice so much more the more you watch it. I asked myself how it could be that Garreth has a beard as a vampire?? Does their hair grow?? That should be impossible, right? Hey, but I don't mind these little things, the movie leaves me with a big smile on my face :-)))))))
