I feel like we've been waiting forever for this. Cosmopolis will be On Demand in just short of three weeks, December 18th and then a reminder that it will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on January 1st, 2013 - what a way to start the year - Robert Pattinson in your living room!

pre-ordered it... even though I have the UK version of it, I can't watch that one on my big screen. and we all agree that Rob is best in high definition big screen! just hope that his awesomeness doesn't melt my Toshiba! :P lol

Absofreakinlutely-NOT! -- this is the start of Robert's rise to the cinematic heavens, no white skin or stone body, just a real beating heart (his & ours!) & raw, mesmerizing talent coming soon to thrill us all -- life is good and Rob is HOT, what better thought to get us through winter & beyond -- the pre-order is placed (multiple copies in case one crashes (LOL) ), arrival is close at hand, let the longing begin. The beautiful one rules, as always.

Omgomgomg. When I saw the post about Cosmopolis is going to be On Demand. I could not believe it. It is going to be awesome to see him eventhough I would have preferred to see him on the big screen. I was talking to my oldest daughter the other day about having to wait until Jan 1 to buy the DVD and we are getting an early Christmas present. I am so excited to watch the movie, it was nowhere near to take a road trip and watch the pretty on all his gloriesness, big smile on my face. I just wrote it down on my planner so I won't forget to watch it.
Amazon doesn't have any special features listed for the DVD. Isn't there a behind the scenes or something? I want MORE Packinson! There can never ever be enough :)

I have too pre-order it after the holidays but I don't expect too get it on New Years Day LMAO oh god what idiot thought up that date?! hellloooo the post office will be closed no mail will be delivered and I would venture too guess that I will get it most likely, the week after if anything LOL! when I pre-ordered BA oh shit It took me FOREVER too get that movie they kept delaying the release date of the DVD why I don't know... but it was 2 weeks late so I am going too pick it up at B&N because the shipping can be a ROYAL pain in the ass and I would rather pick it up than have it shipped after what I went through over the summer too get BA LOL

I WISH! but it won't happen the nods will be announced in January the GG(Golden Globes) nods will be announced(I think Nik are you here help me out here LOL) I THINK in December and the show will be televised in January and the SAG Awards will be in Febuary and as for the Oscars I think they will be televised in either Febuary or March i doubt Rob will go too any of these events because he is going to be real busy with working
oh man! you are so lucky! I used too have a flat screen tv I only had it for a few months and then it just blew a fuse and now I have a 21'" regular t.v. and it is a square shaped one LOL!

You know I totally get it when "fanboys"(who most of them I think used to belittle Rob,IMO)used the word brilliant,excellent etc in describing Rob's performance was because it's true.I want to believe I'm unbiased enough to look at Rob's acting objectively cause either I have too little imagination or no imagination at all but can't imagine any other actor giving the kind of performance Rob did.Subtlety is not norm in Hollywood.If the award giving bodies base their nomination by performance alone and no money(for pushing) and politics(networking) involved,IMO Rob at least got to be in the consideration list...And that is just my opinion which is totally not important...lol

I was disappointed to find no commentary from David Cronenberg on the disc because he's one of the best movie talkers in the business. Instead, we have half an hour of interview soundbites, but you can skip them and go straight to Citizens of Cosmopolis, a behind-the-scenes documentary that is just as long as the film itself. Exploring every aspect of the production, this feature offers some fascinating insights into how the film was made and allows us to watch this master filmmaker at work on set. Even if the film wasn't excellent, I'd recommend checking out the Cosmopolis DVD and blu-ray just for this documentary, which is one of the best extra features I've seen on a disc in years
Hey, Wen! So the "CoC" BTS documentary is on the DVD then. Phew! I agree with Phil though, a DC commentary would've been icing on the cake. Alas, it's not meant to be. Thanks for the info. ... (Btw, my arm hurts. :P)

Okay, yes, it's my fault, ma'am (pronounced "mom" where I come from) ;). I'll get it checked next month (which is next week). My "personal doc" insisted as well.
DC, Rob and Viggo working on the same movie is very satisfying...a commentary by all three would be exceptional but I don't expect it to happen.
And finally after additional damage has been done to said arm the stoic soldier yields to the voice of reason and will get it checked out. Sean do me a favour go to the nearest mirror and slap yourself on the back of the head. Oh and use the good arm! *shakes head* lmao.

Ive seen this citizens of Cosmopolis doc on the DVD, and hes right its a long one and a really good watch, plenty of bts and D and R bits...very interesting.
