4 years ago throwback picture but it's a fave of mine. He's seh-heh-exy in it and when I read the article, this ChateauRob was what first popped in my mind even though there are a few ChateauRobs.
Rob's back in Los Angeles and it looks like he might have been spotted hanging with friends at Chateau Marmont the other night. From People.com:
With his Twilight duties behind him, Robert Pattinson enjoyed a night out with a male pal on Tuesday. The two met up at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont, where Pattinson grabbed a table and sipped on a Stella. Not long after their arrival, though, the men were joined by a group of six friends – including singer M.I.A., who capped off her signature eclectic look with an oversized hat. Pattinson, in a jacket (but not his usual baseball cap), "looked happy and relaxed," a source tells PEOPLE. Though he frequently left his pals for breaks on the smoking patio, "he only paid attention to his guy friends, laughing and letting loose a little bit," the source continues. Thank you. I went back and read that original post and I can see that it came across really wrong - I was referring to that post Gozde made about "respecting co-stars." You know the one? And well, Kristen isn't his co-star anymore! Yikes, I didn't mean now I wanted to be mean to her - I just meant things are already REALLY rough and dramatic for Robsten fans around here, and they're just going to get worse because we're technically "allowed" to be less respectful to Kristen. I realize I screwed up with the old ID (I was on my daughter's computer and her email filled in the login...and I went with it - didn't know it would be a problem.) All I can say is wow about the comments and fighting below. I have only commented here and there because I don't typically want to get involved in the fights but I have been coming here for years to read and see all things Rob. The site is being ruined by this bull over who does or doesn't like Kristen. Does it really matter who likes her if Rob does? No it doesn't. You can like her or love her, or dislike her or hate her, our personal feelings don't matter here. What matters is, if you are going to comment at all about her be respectful of how it would be perceived by Rob.
How about if we agree that this site is supposed to be about Rob and only Rob. I realize people feel the need to comment on his personal life but correct me if I am wrong, there is not one person on this site who knows Rob personally so we really have no clue what really goes on in his personal life. The only thing I care about is his happiness and I hope that whoever he is with past, present or future treats him like the honest, humble, beautiful inside and out man that I believe him to be.

You make sense but that's not gonna keep the haters away. Mostly they're ignored as they should be and then go away but then others won't stop and we try to stop them from making negative remarks that Rob might see and be hurt by them. Also what should we do when she's in a pic with them? Ignore her? That's not right.
Ooooooh. I see. It's the protective "shhhh... don't hurt Rob" thing. I've been so busy trying to keep up with all the interviews that I haven't been reading the comments as much lately. I totally get it now - we're a protective bunch, us Rob fans.
I came home from work... logged on to my favourite Blog and saw 420 post under a pic of Mr. P.. and though WOAH... that's great and lo and behold one mention of Ms. Stewart and the bickering start. When will it stop? I would like to make a suggest if I may... the ones that doesn't like her... don't mention her at all and the ones who like her can chat all they want... no more argument... if there is a thread with the two of them the haters should just stay out... cause the people of who like them both will comment there. Problem solve. Let all take a page from Robert and live the rest of your life.

Monique, I wish it were that simple. I really do. People keep bringing up the fact that she's no longer his costar and that makes her fair game as his GIRLFRIEND to come under not-so-friendly-fire. What would these people do if Rob decided to take a couple years off, marry Kristen and start a family? What if there was no movie to mention for a couple years and the only thing he WAS doing was enjoying is private life? My oh my ... Now that I know the perspective, sonja, I agree that we should demand a certain level of respect for Kristen, since we know Rob reads the site and obviously cares about her. And I like that we self-police on this site's comments. But I also think this community has to be careful to NOT cross a line and demand that posters ONLY say nice things about Kristen. I think small negative comments about her sometimes get blown way out of proportion, and that leads to meanness and drama. Surely Rob doesn't want that either. I'm NOT saying we should endorse the HATERS -- they stink. But we should try to discern the difference between mean haters ("trampire" types) and Rob fans who are simply having a conversation and noticing....say... that Kristen looks like crap in a photo. The drama over this always gets waaaaay out of hand, so I think it would be smart for all of us to choose our battles and take a deep breath before we attack someone's negative comments about Kristen.

Can we be clear as to who a "hater" is? Is it someone who doesn't care for Kristen or is it someone who writes nasty shit about her? I have seen people get attacked just for not liking her. They don't have to like her but they have to be respectful of her and Rob. The only people who should be flagged or kept away are those who come here to just attack her. That is not needed here. But they do have a right to not like her. They just shouldn't say disrespectful and nasty things about her.
I don't know why people can't just do that... is that the way they bicker in RL... it is very tiring. The Mods know that some of us like Miss Stewart... do they have to talk about her if they don't like her? Take me for instants... yes I noticed that too. but the thing is we all has contributed to this situation to some extent. there are outright haters, they are a completely different animal, their only purpose is to cause conflict, but some old posters you mentioned, especially nikola6, would also start long comments about kristen which she knew would cause people to confront her. and that was wrong. I like nikola, and I think most of her comments make sense, but sometimes she goes too far with her kristen defence. well you know what I am talking about

I miss them dreadfully... we had some great laugh here. If Miss Stewart's name comes up it was discussed polite or agree to disagree and them move on to chat about all kind of silly things. The girl made a dreadful, dreadful mistake and some of the picture of her I look at... it seems she's suffering...it looks like the light has gone out of here... can they not let her be now.

Well, for one thing Rob comes to this site. Don't you think he would be upset to read ugly comments about his girlfriend on here? Second, what purpose does it serve to dwell on her? Well I don't love Kristin Stewart, I only love Robert Pattinson. She is his GF and I don't think that I have to love her for this reason.

As Rob visits this site I am sure he will not be happy to see that his personal life is commented on more than his professional life . he does not like people delving into his personal life . His fans should be more interested in his professional life and more over he is such a intelligent man and visits various gossip sites and already knows that his GF is not liked by everyone so people not liking her on this site will not be a shock to him . He said in an MTV interview that his fans are now hating him again for taking her back . But the point is he still called them his fans ...if he can accept that not everyone likes his GF why cant the other people .

I agree with your comment. But you know what you're asking for is impossible, right? It's stupid to say it's impossible, but it really is.
I've asked the ones with negative comments who say they dislike her why do they feel the need to say they dislike her? They never really gave an answer back. I suppose it winds them up to see something positive typed about the object of their dislike. They feel the need to express their opinion and must feel a great sense of relief when they do pitch into these threads. I and I'm sure you wish that need would go away, because it's the negative opinions that start such long uneccessary drama off. They choose drama over silence.

I read your discussions before and I appreciate very much that you don't hold back with your opinion. and I agree with you completely here. Like I do with Fitz. I tried too but friends of mine here think differently and I will try to shut up for the sake of peace between the commenters (I told myself that before though not sure if i manage). but all of it is getting us nowhere, some people leave because of the "trolls and haters", some people leave because of the "bitchfights and no tolerence attitude". all good people leave. that's the result. The only good thing is we all see we are not alone with our feelings. I feel bad for everyone involved, that's my problem i think. and i have strong blieves what shows respect and what not. I don´t hate Kristen. I think rob is a intelligent person , and if he is with her is because she has something good. And I RESPECT THAT. But i personally don´t like her (of course i don´t insult her o something like that), i only like rob, and i´m not a "bad fan" for that. I insist, i respect his choices, if he is happy good for him, that´s the only i want, buy i`m support him and that´s all.. He doesn´t have a gf to make me happy or not, he makes movies for my happiness or unhapiness.
I think the offense comes because the "defenders" of Kristen can be rather mean and negative. Surely you've seen it? I think people prefer when we are welcoming to all opinions.

I don't even know "Val?" I came back last night and today because I had time. :p I have three jobs and two teenage daughters, so my free time comes in spurts. I jumped in here last night to have fun. I made the mistake of posting a comment about how die-hard "Robsteners" wouldn't like it here, especially now that Kristen isn't his co-star, and HOLY MOLEY!! Apparently I put my foot in my mouth. I had no idea this was some type of ongoing controversy among Rob fans. I TAKE IT BACK lol. But all's good - Rob came over and spent the night last night, so I have a fresh outlook on life.
