«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 221 of 221 Newer› Newest»Well sorry I didn't get back to you till now. But maybe this will pop up in your e-mail like yours does for me. So maybe you will get it. Yes you imagined it right. I have stopped once so far. Then stopped at a friends in Georgia We went to church together this morning and breaking dawn 2 this afternoon. Anyway will be traveling the rest of the way home and will be stopping at least 2 more times as I go through the different states till I get to Missouri where I live. Which will be a total of 7 times. Then after I get home I can probably see it every day and maybe more then once a day. But don't know how long it will be in Rolla It is not a very big town the theater only has 4 screens. May have to drive 100 miles to St. Louis to see it after it leaves Rolla. Hope I can get my normal 30 times for Rob's movies.
Yes it popped up in my mail. Oh Judy, you're such a devoted fan, Rob would be moved if he knew!
I've seen it the first time this WE (couldn't earlier), sold out big theatre and .. to my big surprise a very mixed audience with almost 1/3 men: many couples, many older people. I liked that a lot. The movie was very well done, wasn't it? Gonna watch it a few times more, but not 30 LOL
Aprat,it was in no way meant as an admonition. I'm not being polite, either, but honest. When I can easily understand your comments, and underlying meaning, I'm nearly always in agreement. When I have to scratch my head...it's not your problem, but mine. Obviously, there are other's who easily understand, who came to your defense. In this case, Sonja, seemed to be more like myself. And, of course, you have every right to argue your case and I encourage you to do so, since whether I always get it or not, I know them to be, how shall I put this...above board, born of an actual mature thinking proces, or simply interesting/challenging? I'm all for that.
We befuddled weird & few, you mean...
OT - just saw 'Lincoln' - so worth it!
Ah, I wouldn't mind if it was as I take the point, and I know I have a strange sense of humour as well, so sometimes people feel I'm messing with them, which I probably am, but not to be mean, or deliberately obtuse but t make light. Sometimes I even have trouble understanding what I'm saying...I think this may be what I like about Rob... ;-D I'm afraid I may have no choice but to continue as I am, but I appreciate both your kind words and the assist in..er..translation...:-)
Can't argue with a word...;-D Whatever else one might say about Spielberg, he is able to make history 'immediate' and that's quite a skill. Was worth the ticket...lol I think Lincoln, Zero Dark and Les Mis are the front-runners in the horse race, as many are saying. Now, have you seen the other yet? You've got two weeks before The Hobbit -- if it actually opens. It's down to the strip inside the wire for the team, and I don't envy them a second...lol So during sunup we can speak of Thorin and Balin, and Nori and Dori, and Bombur and Bifur, and....oh, the rest of 'em... ;-D
Left you a second breakfast. ;-)
So they're workin' right up to the last second? Cutting it a bit close, then. Good god...there's only three movies...did they shoot all of them at once, or are they taking any breaks?
Ever wonder if McKellen & Lee get to sitting around out in the middle NZ during filming and say to themselves, "Do you think they'll finish before we kick the bucket?" (NOT that I'm advocating they go kicking any buckets!!)
Well, looks like it opened with most of NZ in attendance...lol Jackson said looking at the footage he thinks it can be three, though I'm sure they'll do pickups and reshoots, assuming senior members of the cast available...lol Although, given it's Jackson, he's working on the cgi and the stand-in shots right now... ;-) I bet they are still tweaking the first before the wwide opening. The thought of render time for 48fps at full resolution, with all the cgi, boggles. AE: Have another cup of tea while waiting, precious? lol Will be serving elevenses soon... ;-)
Following you about here, as is my wont...busy having third breakfastses? Have to say, there is a lot of...er....'stretching'...in the Hobbit, and much as I like the world inhobbited there are times I was craving a small tea break...or two... ;-)
Will be serving afternoon tea to ya verra soon ;-)
You lucky duck...ppppllllllbbbbb...lol! I'm congenially jealous!
Been a wee bit busy so what did I miss?
Ah, good, was feeling a bit peckish...lol Not long to wait for your return to hobbitlan, and will be interested to hear what you make of it....Busy in a fruitful way, I hope. ;-) Ah, not sure if you mean missed here or elsewhere? lol Here it's beginning to look a lot like, you know, and Cosmopolis making some top ten lists. I have less issue with those than 'the winner is' as it's somewhat more inclusive, and varied. However, I can't grumble about Rachel's recognition by the NYFCs...so makes me somewhat of a hypocrite...lol
Tea is served! ;-)
Was relishing a cuppa but have to head out to hob....nob with some vips (at least they think so...lol) so will warm the pot for supper instead. ;-)
Supper consumed! :-)
Had tea with a little something in it, followed by a chaser. Table's set for dinner...but keep the small, bearded friends to a minumum...;-)
My god, that was quick....lol Think we're...er...cross-commenting here, but all's well if you ate and now have a pipe full of weed...heard Sir Ian made a joke or two about such activities in a film for children.. ;-)
My hours are still wonky, so just right time, right place when I caught it ;-)
Keep an eye out, you'll probably get more tea soon. I'll list you more songs I'm contemplating. Wifi router "f'ing snuffed it", so access in my home's a bit tricksy. In process of fixing.
Ha! Children's film, my arse! I'd have had nightmares viewing all that in childhood... 'course, I was sensitive little soul....lol!
Were your vips suitably entertained? ;-)
They were suit-ably, I was not, and I drank too much. But it was ever thus...and it was fine... ;-)
Hard to type with one eye out but I'm doing it. Router could be restin'...if not I recommend a shop in Bolton... Well, Sir Ian is prone to wicked humour but I imagine he might think of it as a kiddie flick of sorts...lol
It's pining for the fjords... (and I'm pining for my Netflix streaming!) *grumbles*
