Thanks Kate a lovely way to start my day - yummy yummy xx
It's funny. But summit have a very strange undestanding of bronze hair. Lol
Brooding Robward is sooooooo delicious!!!
Edward. The vampire who started it all. (; *sigh*
That first still is from my absolute favorite scene at least in BD2, if not all of The Saga.
Ok this is either off topic or it does relate. But just now I was
reading a very interesting article about how catholic cinema group
called the cbcp cinema analyze the movie and praised on how it has a
prolife message. Meaning that the film and book should be reccomended bc
it teaches some very important lessons about the value of marriage and
having a family. And u know over the last couple of weeks since the
movie I have been raving on how the movie centers on family the
importance of family responsibility sacrafice and loyalty. People need
to understand that the story of twilight is not how they ignorantly
perceive it is not about carnage or even sex or the everlasting theme of
the love triangle it is far more than that. I have been stressing onhow
twilight teaches readers not only about love but about how one is
willing to fight for love and do it out of love and selflessness. They
mention on how bella has really transformed and come to her own not just
being a fierce new vampire but also being a devoted loving mother and
wife. She has grown up a lot and has become such an empowered woman with
dignity and strength. Its made her a better character and grow as a
person. The way kristen stewart has played this role honestly noone else
could be as convincing and real as she has. She has contributed so much
toher character. And of course our dear robert pattinson has truly stepped up to his role as Edward to a T becoming his own patriarch leader of his family being a devoted father and husband. Could you think of anybody else who would have done it better than him. No. Its really great to see how other outsiders r really
giving this movie a chance and seeing it and viewing it the way it
deserves to be and of couse they mentioned how the use of the final
battle sequence was very mindblowing and captivating making audiences
feel anxious and yet sympaphetic to its beloved character. So yeah
there u have it . Our precious movie is continuing to get much needed
praise and being recognized as the beautiful powerful story that we know
and love
So adorable. More adorable than a basket of puppies
OH MY EDWARD .....
Never realized before how this dark jacket is so similar to his grey jacket from first twilight. Very similar styling. Interesting. Of course he's gorgeous in both!
Nice to hear !!!! I guess Stephanie Myers' morman morals/beliefs did become part of this beautiful saga and get appreciated by the catholic church. We, as fans, always saw the strength of the actors and love, fierceness, and beauty that family portrays in this saga. This final installment was so strong the fans certainly appreciated, and some critics "got" it...it's just a shame other critics couldn't have given it more of a chance! I do believe it will always go down in history as a famous love story, and some will have MISSED the beautiful , valid point of the family love story.
YES......sigh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rob, no matter what you say, you still made the perfect Edward... down to the crooked smile!:)
YUMMY!!
Which scene is it?
I agree. It's a story that most women can identify with, because we make sacrifices for our family. I think that's why women become so passionate about it. Twilight is basically a fantasy story that's based on our reality.
Edward and Carlisle while the others are swapping war stories around the campfire. Edward thanking Carlisle for his extraordinary life brings me to tears every time.
I know...Rob's natural hair color is closer to bronze.
Yes... Robert is Edward. I can't imagine absolutely anyone else in this role. I can't and I don't want to. He is perfect. He is perfection. Just look at this picture above. Nothing more, nothing less... *sighs*
Yes he was born to be Edward....*sighing there with you* ;-) That alone will go down in history :)
Hmm......can't say I'll miss the white make up and contacts...but it's still a gorgeous pic.
Hi :) The character of Edward is already a cult. Not to mention his hairstyle ;-) Robert said in some interview that he's afraid that when they will make a remake of Twilight - someone will play Edward better than he did. He certainly can sleep peacefully. Whoever will play the role of Edward he'll have a problem because he will have to deal with an excellent version of Edward.
yeah, he looks good no matter what but it will be nice to see him do roles where he doesn't have to wear the makeup and contacts. He's so sexy, I can't wiat to see his new movies where we will get to see his naturally beautiful eyes and skin.
It will be very, very difficult to walk in the shoes of Rob playing Edward Cullen. Whoever dares to do it will be compared and watched with a very critical eye by the fandom. Maybe not so much by the critics who still seem to hold on to their "wooden acting" opinion due to their lack of knowledge of the books...
Rob just made the book Edward of our imagination come to life. He really plays him as he is described in the book plus some interesting interpretation "Robstyle" ;)
I can imagine though that Hollywood will make a different interpretation of Edward than in the book and make a romantic blablabla out of it in search for quick and easy money....
There is a book out that compares the various religious undertones of The Twilight Saga. It is a very interesting read.
Perfect proof of how modest Rob is about himself.
What is the name of it
"from Twilight to Breaking Dawn - Religious Themes in the Twilight Saga" by Sandra L Gravett
Thankyou
Good point! Robert really played Edward as he was described in the book. I thank him for that. He met my expectations in 100%. And you are absolutely right - most likely, next time Stephenie Mayer will have nothing to say and people from Hollywood will do the next version of Twilight their way. But you know what? They can do whatever they want. I don't care. We have our Edward. And that's all that matters.
I love this pic! <3
yep he sure is I will miss this charater ALOT but when one door closes another opens and he is going to be be a very busy bee once 2013 hits!
ha ha ha ha haaha I said a while ago would'nt be hilarious if there was a tv series(for HBO) of Twilight
