I see where you are coming from but according to the book he just has to be around Renesmee. Actually this was a way to combine a few different script plots together. Everyone was happy listening to the piano and Alice gets her visit is better than showing them sitting around for minutes on end waiting for things to happen. From the clips, BC crammed a lot into this last movie.
I hear you! My little mental flip-book is quite flip-tastic. It's so strange, I was never into the saga because of the vampires (now I write this, it sounds stupid!) but I'm appreciating 'their ways' a little more. It's not that I'm no good at suspending my disbelief, it's like, y'know, vampires, d'uh. Hey ho.
I have a friend that calls the Cullens "fluffy" vampires. I can deal with it. I loved the books, but Rob was the real reason I got into the saga. As a matter of fact in the special feature part of Eclipse and BD there is the section for Edward or Jacob and I frequently only watch the Edward parts. I also love listening to the Rob commentary for Eclipse. He such a riot.
why is esme's hair so dark and straight- what happened to the caramel waves which ch managed in the first movie? and don't get me started on jasper- at least ch made him blonde. how can they make films for so much money, make so much profit, and yet get simple details wrong? it seems so sloppy, or that they really don't give a damm.
I am but an island among my friends with the saga and Mister Rob. It's okay, I'm not odd, and they are still my friends. Just yesterday, we were talking about Skyfall and how Daniel Craig has signed up for two more and if Rob isn't averse to 'franchises' any more that by the time Mr Craig is done with it, Rob might be at an ideal stage for the next Bond. I was universally slapped down. Although to be fair, they couldn't come up with a better alternative. One said Cumberbatch. Ummmm.... (I adore the Eclipse commentary too - it is stunningly unabashed and endearingly sweet. Sometimes I feel like I'm eavesdropping on a private conversation. Not much chance of that happening again! We have been totally indulged in this saga.)
I just watch my jump to Edward over and over and over then I watch the wedding bits... never watch the Jacob part... don't have any interest... he's part of the Saga... just don't have any interest in what his character does.
Not so sound like a bee-otch but why does Jacob have to be at the Cullens everyday?!? I know he imprinted on Renesmee but come on.... In my opinion it should just be Edward, Bella and Renesmee together on that scene when Edward is teaching his daughter the piano!

My movie is coming together quite nicely. I am going to try and piece all the clips together before next week! LOL
