Vanessa, I'm not arguing with you but your comment contains way too much speculation and assumptions about what Rob may or may not think about Kristen. You assume he had rose colored glasses and sees her in a more realistic way. How could you ever know that? I personally did not notice any difference in the way he looks at Kristen in an interview...he immediately turned to her on the first question as he has done in the past. IMO you are putting your own personal beliefs on their interactions, and to me that's just wrong headed. We don't live in their skin, share their bedroom, or know diddly squat about their feelings for one another, other than as you said, he obviously loves her. He is SO much more than Twilight...not just in age.
5 films were too many for him to be tied to. This last one feels like it just needs to be got out the way so he can move on.
He is capable of so much more and now he's ready. Cosmopolis was a big boost to him I think - it's just a shame that BD2 wasn't already out of the way. Don't get me wrong, you know I'm going to the marathon, Twilight has been a huge success and Rob's success began with that so we will always be grateful for it but in terms of Rob's future it's a case of 'been there done that' it's time to move on.
The strange thing is that nobody can pin down the attraction of Rob, it rests on so many aspects of his personality. We all know and appreciate just how attractive he is but it is SO MUCH MORE than that.
He has affected our lives in ways he will never know. We all gather on here from across the world and talk about things we didn't talk about before with people that we would never have had the chance to talk to were it not for him. He has things to be proud of that he is completely unaware of. Long may it last.
And before I go on and on and on.....I'm going to force myself to switch off the laptop, wind down my brain with a few pages of reading and go to sleep before it is time to get up again!!!

Hello nikola6, I don't think that's it just 'easy for certain people' on the internet to say what they want; it's easy for EVERYONE to do it, myself included. The internet is fundamentally a scary place in that respect, but just as people go to other places to post comments that most likely you wouldn't want to read, Robsessed is in the main a 'safe' place to read and post because we apply our own 'appropriate-ness' filters and house rules about respect and manners. As it is, there are plusses and negatives to this. As rabid observers we can't help but wonder at every gesture and comment. These are not excuses but just the way things are in certain pockets of the interweb. Now, knowing that there is every possibility that words written here, however incautious, are read not just by a faceless crowd of (let's face it) women but Rob himself it surely is like catching a glimpse of yourself in the reflection of a shop window unawares? 'Who the hell is that?' momentarily. So here is a big shop window that Rob looks into from time to time. I'm not sure he would recognise himself from what is written on here. I just hope he can take comfort from any support and good wishes towards his continued success in whatever he chooses to pursue. Personally, for me, it would involve music in some form. Big props to the Robsessed Team for superlative posting; it's much appreciated and admired.

Some people revel in others people heart ache and can't let go when it is long past as in this case Nik. They try to nurture it along but at some point it has to fail.
But I feel sorry for those that can see the happiness and peace in Rob's face...and in return be truly happy for him.
And was there a big love fest...no of course not ...Rob and Kristen conducted themselves pretty much like they always have and to me that is more than enough confirmation that they have moved on together.

ABV has been with ROBsessed for a very long time and if you had been looking and lurking in July through September this was not a very nice place at times. I believe that is what ABV was referring to. That has gradually changed though...but the mention of Kristen is still only just tolerated by many.

You are so right and more eloquent than I am. I hope Rob has enjoyed reading our comments - I've always thought that he would come on the site for a look and take note of our reactions to his films and events in his life. We are a mixed bag of people here with a common love of this man and I hope we represent a cross section of his fanbase, i.e. young/old(er), sane/a bit demented, all countries, all religions, both sexes (occasionally). We are his free market research but the fact we all love him, it is a little bit biased! I hope he has felt the affection we have for him and it has helped him through some of the low points in his life. I know I will keep supporting him for years and I suspect the majority of us 'oldies' will do too xx
If you have an under performing thyroid, you'll gain weight & always sluggish but if you've got an over performing thyroid, then you can't switch off I think. Also, I think thyroid problems are hereditary. I was asked by my specialist if there's anyone in my family that have the kind of problem because I've got a thyroid problem and on medication for life.

I'm not going to try and convince you to stay... the blog has changed from when I first came here as a lurker then a commenter. Thanks. I always check out the site I just don't comment much. I made a comment on here once (I think it was the board about 50 shades a while back) and I got a few aggressive responses and it kind of put me off commenting again. I don't have a very thick skin sadly. Still love the mods and reading the comments though.
