We announced yesterday that word on the street was Robert Pattinson was going to be the new face for Dior mens fragrance. Now we've got even more great info!
Grazia has an update about DiorRob:
We've just heard from a reliable source that Robert is shooting the Dior campaign in London any day now (eyes peeled, ladies!). We also know it’s set to be a Moulin Rouge-style shoot in black and white. Appaz, Rob had no less than three offers on the table but chose Dior because it’s ‘classic and timeless’. Stay tuned as we bring you more details as they arrive...GAH! Moulin-Rouge, black and white?? And no less than 3 offers on the table? We can believe that. Rob is a wanted man and rightly so.
Grazia said on their twitter that Rob is heading to London this week to shoot but I'm not sure how accurate that is with press junket activities happening for Rob at the end of the week then TV interviews next week. We'll see. Point is what he will be shooting. This is going to be goooooood ladies....
Here is Jude Law's ad for Dior Homme to get your imagination flying.

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 240 of 240 Newer› Newest»Even if I wanted to go into the city tomorrow there is no other way besides teleporting, swimming or canoe. I'm definitely not going and the power is still out at my office anyway since I'm in lower Manhattan. The power is also out at my apartment all my work clothes are there, and I can't even enter my apartment building because of a electronic password entry..(so I'm assuming people are locked out). My boss isn't being such a hard ass anymore. He was in Hoboken without power and had no idea what was really going on or how bad it was/is.
I agree with Nik that most of the outrageous comes from youth, they like to stir things, think it cool to see what unfolds. am trying to post this up here instead of for Nik because Disq won't let me.
glad you were able to share. thank you
he willbe doing interviews probably from nov 1-4? 5? then tv shows? then premiere. so when is he going to london?
i don't think he will be the face of gucci. as for wearing it-i think he may wear other things than dior. depends on the contract he has with them
Thanks, but not sure it's deserved.
My hearts goes out to all NY-ers & the East coast please be careful&be safexo
We always have box office updates, perhaps we can have "Dior" sales updates. I can well imagine the number crunches rubbing their hands together. Bet Rob's campaign will break all sorts of records :)
:)
Hit the nail on the head Christine....."because those of us who have lived a little, tend to understand that people make mistakes".
Wow! I would imagine that being fantastically hellish! I am glad that you and your son are okay! Thank God that tree didn't crush him!
So no electrical fires in your vicinity I hope? I heard that there were some houses that burned down due to that, if I am correct.
A whole section of QUeens burned down--I think over 80 homes reduced to ashes. My son was walking surveying the damage; the tree did not fall when he was out there. As far as I know no electrical fires here, but we did lose electricity a few hours this evening, and i do not know what caused it.
Glad to hear that your boss wasn't being an unreasonable jerk. And you're downtown? Well of course you can't go in. Just glad you're staying put.
Well good for Rob on the Dior deal.....now if he would land the other Christian deal (50 Shades of Grey) that would be....well words fail me. I know it's not gonna happen but a girl can dream.
Yeah I live in stuy-town, but right now I'm in Brooklyn because I thought I'd be safer there. In a sense I was considering there was no flooding and i had electricity (but i was the only block to not be affected because we are on a slight hill), but now I have no way of getting back into the city =X. My parents car is ruined and we don't have cabs around here we have "car service" which is like crappy limo service and they don't take credit cards. The closest banks to me are closed so I can't withdraw either way. I can't move, but I don't even want to. I'm just baffled that the news did not report on my neighborhood and the next one over since we seemed to have the most damage in brooklyn compared to what i'm seeing on tv.
I hope all of NYC and NJ residents are safe.
Can't wait to see what they come up with for Rob....it will be awesome for the not so mere fact that he's in it. Jude Law is great and all but he's got nothing on Rob....noone does!!!
YES...Thanks,have emailed you.
Bravo Lallie,so true,thank you.
Oh it is Lallie...it is !
I agree with your #1..You can forgive someone you will never see again, and I'll add to that,You can forgive someone who you think you will never see again,in the case of an ex who has moved to live with the other person...
or ... you can forgive your best friend when she has your ex husband's baby, now a half brother to your own sons. sometimes ... you just CAN forgive :)
Yep or you can forgive your husband and your husband can forgive you for infidelity and make liars out of the people that say "once a cheater always a cheater."
absolutely :)
Rumour is fine, but I prefer to hear from those who sign on the dotted line before breaking out the champagne...old-fashioned that way. ;-)
Hello. :-D
Actually, everyone up the East coast. Wasn't it 18 states that the storm affected?
I liked Jude when he was young but the older he gets, the less attractive he gets. Rob, on the other hand, gets more attractive with age, if that's possible.
On GMA this morning was the first time back for Kelly and Michael. Michael said it was real scary for him when his building, where his apartment is located, started swaying. It didn't bother his eight year old twins though. Kelly was sad because she never took her kids to ride the big roller coaster in NJ, since she is a Jersey girl. Back to Rob, I am so excited to see that first commercial or magazine ad, whichever comes first.
Hi Alex, how´s it going? You know what? I just watched my brand new Cosmopolis DVD *beaming* It is as good/even better that I remembered :) The final scene: no words can come near to describe Rob´s performance, or maybe brilliant to the power of 1000000
Are you talking about the one in Australia? Reading other comments had him looking sad and depressed in that photo shoot.
No, I'm not referring to any of the photo shoots where he's been an actor but to the ones he made even before Goblet of Fire. I don't know how old he was then but he seemed to be still a teenager in those and therefore they were not so flattering.
Oooooh my God...Rob is the right man for these...HE IS THE MAN...
your welcome :D
grab what? *evil smirk*
that is so well said and wow it seems like yesterday I saw him in GOF how time flies and how well he has developed into a brilliant actor and like you said he went from being so raw and unsure too getting a standing ovation for Cosmopolis and ya know I thought the same thing that when I saw him in GOF I had this feeling that I would see him again I did not know when I would see him but then November 21st 2008 happend and that was the moment and I will never forget it :P
what a fking nightmare!!! I feel so sorry for you! *cyber hug*
Replying from my Dashboard. I'm speechless and in tears. "Sandy" is NYC's "Katrina"...I think everyone can't wrap their heads around the devastation because whoever thought it could happen in NYC. Apparently some people did predict it. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. To hear about it from someone there (apart from the media) is overwhelming. Stay safe and I'm sure there's many replies of support from everyone here.
I ordered my copy of Cosmopolis few days ago. Now I'm waiting impatiently :-D Besides, I have a few days off and I'm happy about it. I'll try to catch up on reading comments. I hope to meet you here today :-)
I´m happy for you that you have some relaxing time!!! And I wil be around every now and then between RL obligations.....
