I love that :)))
Wow that's excellent that it has a start date :) and earlier than we thought !!
Hey girls guess whose back? Me! Oh my god I have never been happier to be here I have been so desperate and anxious these lpast few days all I kept thinking and saying all day was "I miss rob. Where is my rob." Oh god this has been a crazy few days with the whole storm fiasco. U just have no idea how happy I am to be here. I love u all so much.
Hi Miranda, good to have you back :)
GREAT NEWS!!!!))))
wowowow this is so exciting and I am sosososo happy for Rob to have all these wonderful movies with these briiliant directors lined up!!!! Rob, this is no time for being self-depreiating, you really can be proud of what you have achieved as an actor (and you can be even more proud about how true you have stayed to yourself in this crazyness that is Hollywood <3 )
I am so anxious for Rob's next few movies. Some are movies made with the male viewers in mind. Another way to prove what a great actor Rob is and to expand his fan base. My husband watched Vampire Sucks before seeing anything Rob has done so he makes fun of me. He said he would go see Cosmopolis with me, but it never made it to this area. I know I will be able to get him to see Mission:Blacklist and The Rover.
so rover first and then? I am a little confused- is mission blacklist next or queen of the desert?
Has you husband watched Water for Elephants? My husband liked that film. It has an old Hollywood feel. My hubby also liked Bel Ami but he likes period movies. That movie is very sexy too which grabbed my husbands attention.
Not that I know of, he likes the big-action, horror or sci-fi movies when it comes to a theater movie. On Tv it is horror or classics. Course, he may have watched it, but isn't fessing up to me! The reason he would watch Cosmopolis, is he likes Cronenberg.
I'm happy for Rob to have 3 films lined up but please please do not go to Iraq Rob! it's too risky!
Happy Halloween everyone.
I think nothing will happen to him over there if he will be disciplined. He can't party there the way he did when he was shooting Twilight., otherwise it might become very dangerous for him.
Ladies, we are going to need Robsessed more than ever to keep up with Rob next year! I know I come here for everything Rob. The Tabloids are full of s--t.
has anything been set in stone of where Mission Blacklist will be flimed or if it will be flimed in Iraq
yes the tabloids are SHIT and ya got that right we will :D
but nothing has been set in stone of wether or not he is going there
hey woman welcome back! and I am so glad you are safe!
I have never known so much about movies that have not even been filmed yet, in my life! Did all this go on about movies back in the 80's, and 90's?
You can't even have alcohol there, can you? I guess in private...but don't they frown on drinking?
I hope everythign is okay and your home survived!
welcome back Miranda -glad to know you are okay:)
LOVE it Rover,Mission Blacklist then Queen of the Desert, but hopefully not in Iraq,so many other locations have deserts, namely Australia where I
live,so do come here Rob.lol
I think Mission Blacklist start's in April Kristine.
Nice to see you back Miranda. I hope everything is okay with you.
Happy Halloween Leah!...and don't look at the Tabloids...they are too scary! LOL
I totally agree -- please -- we all need our Rob daily fix.
Well then, welcome back, glad all is well with you!
Amen sister!!!
Some in the 60's and 70' also. But, then I wouldn't know anything about that I was a wee toddler in %$#&.! Ok so I fibbed about my age! Yes, there were movie mags back then also.
You mean some people only check in here once a day? That's Blasphemous! And what would we do without the tabloids? They fit perfectly in the bottom of a birdcage. I believe that is why they are that size, because of all the shit!
Finally, some news about Mission:Blacklist. I will definitely see this one. The interrogation scenes will be intense, I'm curious as to how the director will frame and compose the shots. I think filming in Iraq is the way to go, it'll be really exciting and definitely more authentic (for actors involved and audience alike).
As an aside: I hope the ladies who post here and who reside on the east coast are safe and well post-Frankenstorm. Stay resilient, "keep passing the open windows" (shout out to Younglove)...
Yes, but they were not as interesting as they are now and the actors were not as young in the movie mags as actors are now.
Funny analogy Cathy
Shirley Temple, Mickey Rooney, Judy Garland, HA got u there . I can actually say I wasn't that old. However, we had Elvis, Burt Reynolds, etc most of all the scandalous Liz Taylor
Good that you are ok and to all the Robsessed ladies going through difficult times and everybody else out there. Be safe and take care
Fantastic news, I cannot wait when he starts filming. It is kind of scary to know that he is excited to film in Iraq but hopefully they find other contries where they can film instead of Iraq. Anyway looking forward for all his projects lined up for 2013.
queen of the desert producer tweeted
cassian elwes @cassianelwes
for those following the progress of queen of the desert and my odyssey with herzog we got our first choice to commit at exactly 6 38am today
who is their first choice? is it rob or someone else? I just don't know. very suspicious
he says that actor lives in london. so he is the lead I guess. rob has a supporting part. can't wait for the news
Rob hasn't mentioned it lately so hope he's still attached. I will be very grumpy and stomping about, if not...
Being an oldie I can answer this one Christine, back in the 50's-60's when you went to the movies you bought the "Movie News", a magazine that usually published monthly, and it gave a review only briefly of future movies and cast. With a little bit of gossip on the stars thrown in, who married who or divorced etc. I think in those days about 25cents, That was the extent of future screenings.
Does anyone know if 'Hold on to me' is based on a novel? I looked up the title because I always read the book before the movie of interest and I noticed that it had another title attached to it. Can't remember it at the moment.
As far as I know it isn't based on a novel but on a true story.
Thank you blackbeanie. x
